[00:00:45] Speaker A: As always, thank you for downloading and listening. We really appreciate it. I just want to remind everyone that we're still doing our Pathfinder core rulebook giveaway. We just need 25 reviews on the Apple podcasts app. After that, we'll put everyone's name into a hat, draw it, and announce the winner. Now, I'm not going to keep anyone around here too long, but as always, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to email us at
[email protected]. Now let's get to the table where today's episode changes everything. Previously on The Crackdy Podcast after speaking with Alec, our heroes decided to continue exploring the citadel. They discovered that they were not alone, however, and were attacked by a group of rats. After dispatching those rats, our heroes came across some more unique enemies giant turtles.
Find out how our heroes handle this on The Cracked Die podcast. Welcome to the 11th episode of The Cracked Die podcast.
[00:01:59] Speaker B: Nothing is anybody we're over it now.
[00:02:01] Speaker C: We don't really care to live in that's not like a big number.
[00:02:03] Speaker D: When we get to episode 20, then I might show emotion, like 15.
[00:02:08] Speaker A: We'll celebrate the lives 25, 5069, 69.
[00:02:14] Speaker E: Especially that one.
[00:02:15] Speaker A: That's the 9th episode.
[00:02:16] Speaker D: Let's do it exponentially.
[00:02:19] Speaker A: I'm really bad with math, so you're going to have to tell me when it's let's do it.
[00:02:22] Speaker B: Base 16.
[00:02:23] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:02:23] Speaker C: Yeah, base I was going to say the Fibonacci sequence.
[00:02:25] Speaker D: That's not a real thing.
[00:02:27] Speaker F: I think we should do it every 69th episode, so 69. 138.
[00:02:32] Speaker D: Yeah, I like that.
[00:02:33] Speaker A: Keep going.
[00:02:34] Speaker F: The next one.
[00:02:36] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:02:37] Speaker F: I'm not in the right headspace. I'm full of pizza. I'm full of just like these four turtles.
[00:02:42] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:02:45] Speaker F: Bringing it back.
[00:02:46] Speaker A: All right. Good job.
[00:02:48] Speaker B: Also, I'd like to start off the episode by rejoining the podcast. I know at the end of last episode, I did say that I really after a lot of negotiations, I finally got my green M and Ms, and I decided to rejoin the podcast. So I'm glad to be here, and I'm glad that you all have accepted me.
[00:03:02] Speaker A: And he left.
[00:03:03] Speaker F: He did. And I've spent hours painting regular M ms green to satisfy his did you.
[00:03:08] Speaker A: Use that lud paint I sent you?
[00:03:10] Speaker F: Whatever you sent me, that's what I used.
[00:03:11] Speaker E: Green, actually.
[00:03:12] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:03:13] Speaker E: How are you feeling, Anwar?
[00:03:14] Speaker B: They tasted great.
[00:03:15] Speaker C: All right, good.
[00:03:17] Speaker F: And you've gained a lot of weight.
[00:03:19] Speaker B: How dare you?
[00:03:20] Speaker F: Metal weight.
[00:03:21] Speaker A: I've been stressed out.
[00:03:23] Speaker D: He lost all your hair from heavy metal poisoning.
[00:03:26] Speaker B: Well, I thought it'd be a good look.
[00:03:28] Speaker A: All right, so four turtle like creatures have emerged from the water.
They kind of look like snapping turtle, dragon hybrid things. That's the best.
[00:03:41] Speaker D: They look like dragons.
[00:03:42] Speaker C: That's enough for dragon hybrids happening around.
[00:03:45] Speaker A: Yeah, there's a lot of that's weird. Weird in the age of richard, why.
[00:03:48] Speaker B: Are you trying to eat your mic? Why are you screaming silently?
[00:03:52] Speaker A: So let's go ahead and get an initiative. Roll from everyone initiative die last week.
[00:03:59] Speaker B: I remember you rolling very poorly.
[00:04:01] Speaker A: I'd like to petition.
[00:04:02] Speaker B: I'm giving you a second.
[00:04:02] Speaker G: Should I use athletics or my initiative?
[00:04:04] Speaker A: Yes, absolutely. All right, let's start with the people who are in most danger. So Pond watcher 21. All right, blackjack. That's pretty good.
[00:04:12] Speaker F: Annual. Are you still playing, Alec, bro?
[00:04:14] Speaker B: You can do it, bro.
[00:04:15] Speaker D: We should have yeah, I in initiative A 21 as well. I'll go after him.
[00:04:21] Speaker A: Okay. Very good. Twin, what did you get?
[00:04:23] Speaker F: 23.
[00:04:24] Speaker A: Easy.
[00:04:25] Speaker F: That's 16 plus seven, right?
[00:04:27] Speaker A: Yeah, I got to move everything down now.
[00:04:29] Speaker E: Brianna, 1818.
[00:04:32] Speaker A: Saraya. Twelve and temid 13. And Alec.
[00:04:38] Speaker F: Oh, that's me this time.
[00:04:39] Speaker A: That is.
[00:04:39] Speaker F: You rolled my left hand.
[00:04:42] Speaker B: It's a plus 714.
[00:04:43] Speaker A: Timid, you roll the 1313.
[00:04:45] Speaker B: Unless you would like to give me a higher score.
[00:04:47] Speaker A: All right, Twin Talon, you are going first. So, what you see happening is four large, mechanically large creatures emerging from the water. And on the back of one of them is a body in armor acting like allure of an anglerfish.
[00:05:06] Speaker F: Can I see? I can see them, though.
[00:05:08] Speaker A: Yes, you can see through yes, because you are all in the room or courtroom. Sorry.
[00:05:12] Speaker F: So we're in this room.
[00:05:13] Speaker A: Yeah, you all moved into that room because I gave you the description where you looked into the see. The rest of the courtroom, it's fine.
[00:05:22] Speaker F: So I had my bow out, so I will take a shot at whatever giant turtley thing is the most seeable.
[00:05:29] Speaker A: Sure. I'm going to say the one in the back, probably the one you can see the best through the opening, but it is still partially covered, so I'm going to give it a little bit of an AC bonus. I think no matter who you shoot at, you're going to get an AC.
[00:05:41] Speaker F: Well, it doesn't matter then. I'm going to shoot whatever one is closest to. They're not adjacent to anybody.
[00:05:46] Speaker A: No, not yet.
[00:05:46] Speaker F: So I'll shoot the one, whatever one's, right in front of Pond Watcher.
[00:05:50] Speaker D: All right, sounds good.
[00:05:51] Speaker F: That is a 21 to hit.
[00:05:53] Speaker A: Get it?
[00:05:53] Speaker F: It hasn't acted yet.
[00:05:54] Speaker A: Correct.
[00:05:55] Speaker F: And I used stealth, my initiative, so I get my sneak attack.
[00:05:58] Speaker B: Sounds sweet.
[00:05:59] Speaker F: Suck it, Alec. All right.
[00:06:01] Speaker B: You're shooting Alec?
[00:06:02] Speaker F: No, it's a little underwhelming for three. D six, but it's nine. Death, it's about average. Slightly less.
[00:06:07] Speaker A: All right, so you fire off an arrow into one of these creatures. It plinks it. It does not look happy.
[00:06:14] Speaker F: Did it, like, do damage, though?
[00:06:16] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. Okay.
[00:06:16] Speaker B: Did it seem oh, actually, no. I'll ask on my turn.
[00:06:19] Speaker F: All right. Then I will fire once again, 18 to hit.
[00:06:23] Speaker A: That will also hit 14 damage.
[00:06:25] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
[00:06:26] Speaker A: And you see that it dies.
[00:06:28] Speaker B: Oh, not bad.
[00:06:30] Speaker A: Good work. You did a lot of damage.
[00:06:32] Speaker B: All right, so once you're done with the monkey one I saw one more action.
[00:06:36] Speaker A: Yeah, he has one more.
[00:06:36] Speaker B: Oh, shit. Never mind. I just wanted to see how you felt, how it punctured it.
[00:06:41] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[00:06:42] Speaker F: Explain to me how you killed that thing. Well, it put its face up making googly eyes at Pond Watcher, so twin Talon.
[00:06:49] Speaker E: I was just going to say something like that. I'm a jealous batch.
[00:06:54] Speaker F: Twin Talon put one in the first eye, one in the second eye. Now it sees no more.
And Twin Talon will then take a shot at the one far back. Let's take a cyclops or whatever. That pawn is not as good. Minus two is my last attack.
[00:07:10] Speaker A: So, seven myth that planks off of the shell of this creature. Well, one is gone. However, they now take an action.
[00:07:19] Speaker B: Oh, man. All right, Pond Watcher, it was nice knowing you.
[00:07:22] Speaker F: Look, I eliminated one before. They got to go.
[00:07:25] Speaker A: The one in the front kept full health seeing that his friend just died.
[00:07:30] Speaker B: Runs away.
[00:07:31] Speaker A: Leonardo.
[00:07:32] Speaker B: No. Not Leonardo.
[00:07:33] Speaker A: Will take a bite at a crime at Pond Watcher.
[00:07:38] Speaker G: Is it 10ft away from me?
[00:07:39] Speaker A: I can't see. Okay, so if its first action is, it's going to move to the doorway. So it's going to shift over.
[00:07:45] Speaker F: Like which one?
[00:07:46] Speaker A: The front one? Yeah, that one going to step there. Now it's going to bite you critically. Fails.
[00:07:53] Speaker D: Does it have a name?
[00:07:54] Speaker F: Leonardo?
[00:07:55] Speaker A: No.
[00:07:55] Speaker F: Donatello?
[00:07:56] Speaker A: No.
[00:07:56] Speaker F: Raphael?
[00:07:57] Speaker A: No.
[00:07:57] Speaker F: Michelangelo?
[00:07:58] Speaker A: Venus?
No.
[00:08:01] Speaker E: Does not rembrandt.
[00:08:03] Speaker A: Right. Right.
It misses. And then for its third and final action, it pulls into its shell.
[00:08:11] Speaker C: Oh, no.
[00:08:12] Speaker B: Wait, what it's like?
[00:08:15] Speaker F: It's raising its shield.
[00:08:16] Speaker A: I'm assuming the creature behind it and the one to the northwest that looks like a tangle of reed, storms forward through the doorways, into the room. Into the room. Jeez.
[00:08:29] Speaker F: How much movement does it have with one move?
[00:08:31] Speaker A: Let's say 30ft.
[00:08:34] Speaker B: We need the exact number, not let's say.
[00:08:36] Speaker A: Yeah, well, it's moving forward 30ft.
[00:08:38] Speaker F: 20. So how much further do you want it to go? It's adjacent to Pond Watcher at this point.
[00:08:42] Speaker A: Perfect. Next action, it's going to bite at Pond Watcher.
[00:08:47] Speaker B: Oh, no.
[00:08:48] Speaker A: Does a 14 hit you? No. So it snaps at you, and then for its third action, it pulls into its shell. The one what are you doing, you've crazed creature? Shell.
[00:08:59] Speaker G: Pond Watcher is in 3ft of water, surrounded by giant retracting turtle people. So he would rage, and the ice runs down his arms into his mother's halberd, and he starts breathing icy fumes out. And he will strike the nearest creature, the boy.
I'll teach you to get in a shell by missing horribly. 13.
[00:09:23] Speaker A: That is a miss.
[00:09:25] Speaker G: He's raging.
[00:09:25] Speaker B: So, all right, do it.
[00:09:27] Speaker A: Get it. No.
Six critical failure.
[00:09:34] Speaker B: And we have deadly failures, too.
[00:09:37] Speaker A: So what does that wonderful card from Paizo say? Oh, no.
[00:09:41] Speaker C: Second thoughts. You are sickened.
[00:09:43] Speaker A: Three.
[00:09:44] Speaker B: Oh, shit.
[00:09:45] Speaker A: Wow.
[00:09:45] Speaker D: What's the duration of that?
[00:09:48] Speaker A: Yeah, sickened is until you vomit. Right, because it moves you up one step each time you're sickened.
[00:09:54] Speaker F: Well, to get rid of it, you have to vomit and then you have.
[00:09:58] Speaker A: To make a fortunate save.
[00:09:59] Speaker F: And that is going to be based upon right.
[00:10:01] Speaker A: It's going to be an average difficulty.
[00:10:04] Speaker F: Which I have upon the monster level.
[00:10:06] Speaker A: It's okay, you're good. You're just sick. Three, you have one more.
[00:10:08] Speaker B: Oh, no.
[00:10:09] Speaker A: You raged and you sacked twice. Silver.
[00:10:14] Speaker D: Silver is going to try to inspire his buddy.
Very sick.
[00:10:21] Speaker G: I don't understand how he's sick from this, but okay.
[00:10:24] Speaker B: You looked at your failure and your whole life in general. It just made you sick.
[00:10:28] Speaker C: It gave you second thoughts. You're sick to your stomach.
[00:10:31] Speaker G: Very significantly sicker than I've ever been in my life.
[00:10:37] Speaker D: Bardic inspiration inspire courage.
[00:10:39] Speaker A: All right, everyone gets that plus one.
[00:10:42] Speaker D: To damage and attack rolls.
[00:10:44] Speaker A: Great.
[00:10:45] Speaker D: Then I don't want to leave pond watcher, but I'm also a frail old man, so I'm going to leave pond watcher. I will withdraw tactically. Get away from the turtle.
[00:10:56] Speaker A: All right.
[00:10:56] Speaker D: And then you're for your third action, I am going to do a knowledge check on these blows.
[00:11:01] Speaker A: Excellent.
[00:11:02] Speaker D: What knowledge would that be?
[00:11:04] Speaker A: That would be doesn't matter. I'm going arcana or nature?
[00:11:07] Speaker E: Nature.
[00:11:08] Speaker D: Sorry, I didn't mean to be that sassy. 22.
[00:11:12] Speaker B: That was the right amount of sassy. That was the proper 22.
[00:11:14] Speaker D: 22? Yes.
[00:11:15] Speaker A: Okay. You know, these are called graveshells.
[00:11:19] Speaker B: Graveshell?
[00:11:20] Speaker A: Graveshells. Graveshells.
[00:11:21] Speaker F: Oh, the turtles with dead people on their backs.
[00:11:24] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:11:24] Speaker D: How original.
[00:11:25] Speaker A: They are a large beast. What would you like to know? Two questions, sir.
[00:11:31] Speaker D: What are they weak to?
[00:11:32] Speaker F: Arrows.
[00:11:33] Speaker A: Regular attacks.
[00:11:34] Speaker D: Okay, so they don't have any weaknesses?
[00:11:36] Speaker A: No specific weaknesses.
[00:11:37] Speaker D: They have any special attacks?
[00:11:39] Speaker B: Yes, that's a good question.
[00:11:41] Speaker A: It is called shell game.
[00:11:44] Speaker D: I can see what's going to happen.
[00:11:45] Speaker A: When shell game happens. It is raising the shield, like what Matt said, and from there, they can shell block as a reaction and they can reduce the damage equal to the shell's hardness.
[00:11:59] Speaker B: What's the shell's hardness?
[00:12:00] Speaker D: We don't know.
[00:12:01] Speaker A: You don't know? Okay.
But yes, their shells act as shields.
[00:12:06] Speaker D: I can't shout that out in second edition. I have to give an action to say what it is.
[00:12:10] Speaker F: I don't think that's true.
[00:12:11] Speaker A: No, you can yell, you can talk.
[00:12:14] Speaker F: As a free action. You just can't give us, like, a speech, and you can't have it do anything mechanically.
[00:12:22] Speaker D: So I'll just have said that. Watch out for their shells.
[00:12:26] Speaker F: Watch out for that tree.
[00:12:27] Speaker A: Brianna. Hi.
[00:12:30] Speaker E: How far am I from the furthest one? Is that 60ft?
[00:12:35] Speaker A: Well, as soon as you get past.
[00:12:37] Speaker E: Those two I'm not going past one.
[00:12:39] Speaker A: Yes, you're within 60ft. There is difficult terrain to get to it because it is water. You will have to go through that.
[00:12:45] Speaker E: And I will ask Serenre for divine guidance as I cast fire ray yes. On the well, technically, all three of them, I guess, since it would be in the line.
[00:12:59] Speaker A: Yeah. Would that work?
I think you hit the raise one or is it a ray in first edition.
[00:13:06] Speaker F: Rays were touch attack, single target. Okay, that might be different now. I don't know.
[00:13:10] Speaker E: I'll read it to you.
[00:13:11] Speaker A: Yeah, please.
[00:13:12] Speaker E: Blazing band of fire arcs through the air. Make a spell attack roll. The ray deals two D, six fire damage on a critical success. It deals double.
[00:13:22] Speaker A: It's a single creature, though. Yeah.
[00:13:24] Speaker E: One target is one creature or object.
[00:13:27] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:13:27] Speaker F: Still a good thought.
[00:13:28] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:13:28] Speaker A: You can still cook. Get some really good turtle dragon soup out of this.
[00:13:33] Speaker E: I guess they come in their own bowls. That's true. Rather large bowls, too. Should I get the first one, then? I'll do the right. Next time, I will move up to the swirly boy.
[00:13:46] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:13:47] Speaker E: Flank with pond watcher.
[00:13:48] Speaker A: Flanking with pond watcher.
[00:13:49] Speaker E: Yes. And swing away with my yeah.
That is a just kidding. I can't mask. Remember, 19.
[00:14:04] Speaker A: That'll hit because of the flanking.
[00:14:07] Speaker E: It's very underwhelming. Five damage.
[00:14:10] Speaker A: All right, so you clink onto the shell.
[00:14:13] Speaker E: Yes. I do it again.
24.
[00:14:18] Speaker A: Whoa. Hit. Yes.
That's just a regular hit. Awesome. Had to do math real quick.
[00:14:24] Speaker E: Same seven damage.
[00:14:26] Speaker A: All right. You hit the shell again, it's chipping away.
[00:14:30] Speaker C: Can't I get it in like a hinge?
[00:14:33] Speaker A: It's pulled in there.
[00:14:35] Speaker F: I'm curious. So with the shield block thing, they can do, like, for us, it would be a reaction when you can only do it once per round.
[00:14:43] Speaker A: Oh, that's right. I can only do it once per round, too. All right, so that second one goes through. You did how much damage? Seven. Why you got to call me out on Rules, bro?
[00:14:50] Speaker F: Hey, I think I dicked anroar over last episode on Rules or somebody.
[00:14:54] Speaker E: Yeah, it was always no, no, it was it was Richard.
[00:14:59] Speaker F: Just an equal opportunity.
[00:15:00] Speaker A: Yeah. You called him out on getting a crit fail card. Yes.
[00:15:04] Speaker F: Everyone's welcome, I guess.
[00:15:06] Speaker A: I don't know. Alex turn.
[00:15:08] Speaker F: All right, Alex going to go going to do Bro.
[00:15:10] Speaker A: He's in the back.
[00:15:11] Speaker F: Walk up to the tangle. Viny turtle pawn. He's been like, Yo, bro, do you even turtle, bro?
You get massive gains with your shell.
[00:15:22] Speaker D: Gains, bro.
[00:15:23] Speaker F: Rolled a 14 plus ten is 24.
[00:15:25] Speaker A: That's a hit. Even though it is it it's shelf.
[00:15:28] Speaker B: Yeah, that's the one you want. Nice.
[00:15:30] Speaker D: All right, that's six damage.
[00:15:33] Speaker A: All right, get them still there.
[00:15:35] Speaker F: I'll make a second attack. 18 hit. A seven damage.
[00:15:38] Speaker B: How bloody is this thing?
[00:15:40] Speaker A: That sword cleaves the head right off. Not using the game cleave. It just cuts the head off of the turtle. And you can guess that when a turtle or a graveshell loses its head, it's dead.
[00:15:53] Speaker B: Turtle soups on the menu, boys.
[00:15:56] Speaker F: So do you want us to leave the dead turtle there as, like, difficult terrain, or do we just move it from the map?
[00:16:00] Speaker A: You can just move it from the map. Okay.
[00:16:02] Speaker D: And that's Alex turn.
[00:16:03] Speaker A: That is Alex turned. All right, so this wonderful companion you guys have picked up, who has done nothing but help you and has slaughtered a lot of these creatures that have aggressed on you and almost eaten your friends, just killed another one and now it's your turn.
[00:16:20] Speaker B: Yes. And I still think he's an asshole.
So I was going to actually cast bless. So we all get a plus one, a bonus to our attack rolls. But I took a look and it's also a status bonus. So if you are inspiring courage, it's not going to do anything.
[00:16:37] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:16:37] Speaker C: They don't stack, then.
[00:16:39] Speaker B: Rather than doing that, I'm just going to walk up to this motherfucker and attack them.
[00:16:41] Speaker A: Which one the closest one? The closest one? The wolf looking one. How far do you move?
[00:16:46] Speaker B: 25.
[00:16:46] Speaker A: So it's going to be two moves to get there.
[00:16:48] Speaker F: That's 25 there.
[00:16:49] Speaker B: Oh, sweet. So he rears back and by there.
[00:16:52] Speaker F: I mean adjacent to the creature.
[00:16:53] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:16:54] Speaker B: Thrusts his sword or his rapier into its carapace or its shell or wherever. And it was 13. Miss clink is going to go again. 17 clink. Oh, man. All right, so that was it.
[00:17:07] Speaker A: All right. And SurreyA.
[00:17:09] Speaker C: So only one is pulled into a shell.
[00:17:11] Speaker A: Right.
[00:17:11] Speaker C: The one that's furthest back is not.
[00:17:13] Speaker A: The one in the furthest back is not correct.
[00:17:15] Speaker C: Does he have, like, significant cover from the one in front of him?
[00:17:18] Speaker A: No, just partial. Okay.
[00:17:21] Speaker C: Her sling is a range of 50ft.
[00:17:23] Speaker A: That is within 50ft.
[00:17:24] Speaker C: Exactly. So she's going to go for that 17 to the one in the back hit.
[00:17:29] Speaker A: Sweet. That is not pulled into its shell.
[00:17:31] Speaker C: She's got to be strategic about these things for three damage.
[00:17:35] Speaker D: All right, four damage.
[00:17:36] Speaker E: Four damage.
[00:17:37] Speaker C: Thank you so much.
[00:17:38] Speaker A: Four damage. It goes and it hits the graveshell right in the face and it kind of goes shakes it off a little bit. Snarls at you.
[00:17:46] Speaker C: She's going to try again for a three.
[00:17:48] Speaker A: Critical failure.
[00:17:50] Speaker B: Second edition. There's a lot of crits.
[00:17:52] Speaker E: This is a range.
[00:17:53] Speaker A: This is a first range. Crit fail.
[00:17:55] Speaker C: Errant, aim reroll the attack rolls, targeting the creature closest to the target, excluding yourself, which is actually the other one.
[00:18:02] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:18:05] Speaker C: Which is a 17, which will miss. Oh, because it's pulled in.
[00:18:09] Speaker A: It's pulled into its shell.
[00:18:10] Speaker D: Ding.
[00:18:10] Speaker B: That actually worked out pretty well.
[00:18:13] Speaker A: It ricocheted off the back one into the front.
[00:18:15] Speaker G: You weren't permanently disabled until getting.
[00:18:21] Speaker C: She'S going to try one more time. It's going to be at a negative three because it's the third attack, but she's still going for one in the.
[00:18:25] Speaker A: Back, so hopefully wait, negative three.
[00:18:27] Speaker C: That's it.
Which is a two. So that's another crit fail.
[00:18:32] Speaker B: Oh, man. Back to back. Crit fail.
[00:18:34] Speaker C: Awkward. Attacked. I am flat footed until the end of my next turn.
[00:18:37] Speaker A: Oh, no. Too bad. You're one turn.
[00:18:41] Speaker F: The person in the back of the party who doesn't worry about being attacked.
[00:18:45] Speaker A: Look, I learned my lesson, to be fair. She is the only one who has died so far.
[00:18:52] Speaker F: She didn't die.
[00:18:53] Speaker C: I entered the dying phases very badly.
[00:18:58] Speaker D: She actually would have died if we remembered that we knew what we were doing.
[00:19:02] Speaker B: She'd be dead.
[00:19:03] Speaker A: Yeah, fair.
[00:19:04] Speaker F: Good thing we don't.
[00:19:05] Speaker A: So the one in the back, which is the one that has the silver thing, the body on it, the angle silver's body.
[00:19:15] Speaker B: You're telling us he's dead?
[00:19:16] Speaker D: I'm right.
[00:19:17] Speaker C: This is your milk in that room.
[00:19:20] Speaker A: He lumbers forward, going to try to get to Temid. And who's the other figure next? And Brianna.
[00:19:32] Speaker E: Brianna is between us.
[00:19:35] Speaker A: So you can flank it right there. And now that's first action was to move towards you guys. Now it is going to take a going to try and bring it hit you with a shell spike.
[00:19:48] Speaker B: Hit me with your best shot. Fire away.
Matt got so mad at me, he laid down.
I beat him to the bunch.
[00:19:56] Speaker A: 26 hit you.
[00:19:58] Speaker B: Oh, 18 is my armor class. So yes.
[00:20:01] Speaker A: So close to critting you.
[00:20:03] Speaker B: I wanted to let you know my armor class. So you didn't think that you crit me. All right, so you take six, six points of damage.
[00:20:10] Speaker A: Ouch.
[00:20:11] Speaker B: All right, so I'm actually hurt pretty bad at this point.
[00:20:14] Speaker E: Or he doesn't take it.
[00:20:16] Speaker A: He doesn't.
[00:20:16] Speaker E: Why not let me remember how to do this?
[00:20:18] Speaker C: Are you trying to liberating step again?
[00:20:19] Speaker A: Yeah.
I don't like that. Could you let me hit him, please?
[00:20:25] Speaker C: No.
[00:20:26] Speaker E: Okay, I'm within 15ft, right?
[00:20:28] Speaker D: Yes.
[00:20:29] Speaker E: So I'll be like, hey, remember this? Grab him, yank him again.
[00:20:32] Speaker B: Not this again.
[00:20:34] Speaker C: So it's one of those bullet motion like bullet time things where you see the head coming in to snap at.
[00:20:40] Speaker A: Him and while it's a spike, he kind of like oh, he's like shook off his shell that came towards him.
[00:20:46] Speaker B: Ouch.
[00:20:46] Speaker A: And then you get pulled out of the way.
[00:20:48] Speaker E: All right, since you took damage, you gain resistance to all damage against the triggering damage equal to two plus your level.
[00:20:57] Speaker B: So it's three three six. So I only take three damage?
[00:21:00] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:21:00] Speaker B: Sweet.
[00:21:01] Speaker F: And I believe there's more.
[00:21:02] Speaker E: There is. You are not restrained, so that's nothing for you to worry about. Currently, they either attempt a new save against one such effect that allows a save. Fine.
If they can move, the ally can step as a free action even if they didn't need to escape.
[00:21:21] Speaker A: All right, so you can take a five foot guarded step.
[00:21:23] Speaker B: Yeah, sure. I'll do that.
[00:21:25] Speaker A: Which way are you going?
[00:21:25] Speaker B: I will go back one.
[00:21:27] Speaker A: Back one.
[00:21:27] Speaker E: You are also unaffected by difficult terrain, greater difficult terrain, narrow surfaces and uneven ground.
[00:21:34] Speaker A: And for its third action, it will pull itself into its shell.
So they're both in the shell now. Twin Talon is up.
[00:21:42] Speaker F: Okay, what you doing?
[00:21:43] Speaker B: What you going to do?
[00:21:44] Speaker A: What are they coming for you?
[00:21:45] Speaker B: Bad boys.
[00:21:46] Speaker A: Bad boys. Bad turtles. Bad turtles.
[00:21:48] Speaker B: Boys.
[00:21:48] Speaker A: No.
[00:21:48] Speaker F: Okay, so I'm going to fire at the one who just stepped up. Since there's no one in between us. That is a 15 to hit sweep.
[00:21:59] Speaker A: Miss.
[00:21:59] Speaker F: Second attack. 14 miss.
[00:22:04] Speaker A: Lower.
[00:22:06] Speaker F: And I'm not going to fire the third time.
[00:22:08] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:22:08] Speaker F: Those are AC is too high. I'd have to roll a natural 20 to probably still miss. Actually, were any of those one off? Because I wasn't counting silvers no.
[00:22:16] Speaker A: Okay. No, they were all okay.
[00:22:18] Speaker F: So after missing twice, I think I'm more likely to critical fail, which we've seen happen a bunch of times here.
Not for us, it's not.
[00:22:28] Speaker A: Great.
[00:22:28] Speaker F: So Twin Talon is going to reposition himself. He's going to come around kind of behind Alec just in case gets out of hand.
[00:22:36] Speaker A: Gotcha. So the graveshell in front of Pond Watcher is going to come out of its shell and it is going to, for its first attack, bite you.
[00:22:44] Speaker G: Bring it on, turtle boy.
[00:22:46] Speaker A: Does a 15 hit you? No. Yes. Then it is going to swing a claw at you.
[00:22:52] Speaker G: I swim aggressively backwards and I'm going.
[00:22:55] Speaker A: To guess a 17 misses you.
[00:22:56] Speaker G: That hits because I am raging.
[00:22:59] Speaker B: Oh, man.
[00:23:00] Speaker G: Claw tech rage is good for being punched in the face.
[00:23:03] Speaker A: OOH. Max damage. Take seven slashing, by the way. And then it's going to try and hit you with its yeah, it's going to try and hit you with a shell spike. Does a 14 hit you? No. Okay, you're good. Ouch. Oh.
[00:23:19] Speaker F: It took three attacks, which means it's not in its shell.
[00:23:21] Speaker A: Not in its shell. Pond Watcher.
[00:23:22] Speaker G: How dare you, turtle Man I've been able to get up to switch this die, but I'm going to check anyway, even though I'm sickened and curse whatever the fuck is happening with me.
[00:23:34] Speaker F: You look so sad.
[00:23:36] Speaker B: Just tell us what it is, budy.
[00:23:37] Speaker A: Twelve miss. Okay, I'm going for it again.
Take another die.
[00:23:44] Speaker B: Take another die. You want this one?
[00:23:45] Speaker A: Yes. Come on. No.
[00:23:47] Speaker G: 13.
My second attack is now a negative three.
[00:23:51] Speaker A: Oh, jeez.
[00:23:51] Speaker B: We're trending upwards, though.
[00:23:53] Speaker G: And she's frothing and wiggling. And third action. He's going to wretch in its fate.
[00:23:58] Speaker A: Okay, go ahead and sweet.
[00:23:59] Speaker G: I love saving throw.
[00:24:01] Speaker A: Yes, I know what that is.
[00:24:02] Speaker G: Okay, 24.
[00:24:04] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[00:24:05] Speaker G: So he moves up to sick and.
[00:24:06] Speaker A: Two critical, by the way.
[00:24:08] Speaker G: He moves up to sick and one.
[00:24:09] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:24:10] Speaker C: Does that count as a crit for.
[00:24:11] Speaker A: His it does not seem to tack.
[00:24:13] Speaker G: I didn't roll 20.
[00:24:14] Speaker F: No, I think it is a critical.
[00:24:16] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:24:16] Speaker G: Okay, I'm done.
[00:24:17] Speaker A: All right. Silver all right.
[00:24:18] Speaker D: I'm going to continue to inspire courage.
[00:24:22] Speaker A: All right.
[00:24:22] Speaker D: Inspiration. So plus one. Plus one.
I then want to help out my buddy.
[00:24:29] Speaker G: He's thrashing in the water, throwing up and swinging wildly.
[00:24:32] Speaker E: And he did get hit.
[00:24:33] Speaker D: All right, I will draw a bow as a second action.
[00:24:36] Speaker A: Oh, jeez. Here it comes.
[00:24:38] Speaker B: Do it.
[00:24:39] Speaker A: Here it comes.
[00:24:39] Speaker G: Please shoot me and end my suffering.
[00:24:43] Speaker A: Digging the rabbits, Lenny.
[00:24:47] Speaker D: Okay, that's 18 on the dive total of it's? Probably 22, but you should probably look it up.
[00:24:55] Speaker A: Yeah, please look it up.
[00:24:57] Speaker F: First attack in the round. You have a plus one from yourself. It's at least a 19, right?
[00:25:01] Speaker A: I mean, it's a hit. I just want to see if it crits.
[00:25:04] Speaker D: Okay, so it's a 24 action.
[00:25:08] Speaker A: Close, but it's a regular hit.
[00:25:09] Speaker G: All right, do it.
[00:25:11] Speaker D: I'm not much of a combatty guy, but one decent. And that is a four. So five.
Yeah, five.
[00:25:20] Speaker A: The arrow enters into the grave shell and it hits it doing damage. And your third action.
[00:25:25] Speaker D: That was my third action.
[00:25:26] Speaker A: That was your third action.
[00:25:27] Speaker B: Every one of your pauses I thought you could say and it's dead.
[00:25:29] Speaker A: I know.
[00:25:30] Speaker E: And it's doing that on purpose.
[00:25:31] Speaker A: Like I'm trying to build you up.
[00:25:33] Speaker B: Okay?
[00:25:34] Speaker A: He's just being brianna. Build me up. Brianna.
[00:25:39] Speaker E: I want cooked turtle.
[00:25:42] Speaker A: What do you guys think?
[00:25:43] Speaker E: Since one is still in its shell? Eh, I'll hit the one closer to pawn. Watcher. How do I do this?
[00:25:50] Speaker A: Let's make an attack roll. A magic attack roll. I believe it said that's a natural 20.
[00:25:56] Speaker G: Provides.
[00:25:57] Speaker B: Oh, wait, did you check the always roll a 20? Setting.
[00:26:01] Speaker F: Roll a D 20. She just rolled a 20.
[00:26:06] Speaker A: Spell crit. Yes.
[00:26:07] Speaker F: Now you see me. You become invisible until the end of your next turn. Or until you use a hostile action.
[00:26:14] Speaker A: So it can't target you now.
[00:26:15] Speaker F: Well, the thing is, critical hits always do double damage. Unless they say they don't do double damage and you become invisible.
[00:26:23] Speaker A: Where'd she go?
[00:26:24] Speaker F: Until she attacks again. Or until the end of her next turn.
[00:26:27] Speaker E: So what, I blinded with fire?
[00:26:28] Speaker C: I guess.
[00:26:29] Speaker B: Yeah, blind all of us with fire.
[00:26:31] Speaker E: Sorry.
[00:26:32] Speaker A: Where'd you go?
[00:26:36] Speaker E: Max damage?
[00:26:37] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:26:38] Speaker E: One d four. So it's a four persistent fire damage to eight.
[00:26:41] Speaker A: Okay, nice. Eight. Precision fire.
[00:26:43] Speaker F: It's two d six.
[00:26:44] Speaker E: Plus it's two D. Six. Fire damage plus one, D four.
[00:26:49] Speaker A: Got it.
[00:26:49] Speaker E: I'm going to count the six from before.
[00:26:51] Speaker C: That's fine.
[00:26:52] Speaker E: Plus a five.
[00:26:53] Speaker A: That's eleven. That's 22. 22 normal.
[00:26:56] Speaker F: And eight persistent yay.
[00:26:58] Speaker A: It's cooked.
You hear sizzling and popping coming out of this creature.
[00:27:04] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:27:04] Speaker A: Eat turtles and soup.
[00:27:06] Speaker E: Any Brady. Any Bradley. Wow, I can't speak common hungry tonight.
[00:27:10] Speaker A: Who said that? We have food for the puppies.
[00:27:11] Speaker B: Who said that?
[00:27:12] Speaker F: Oh, my God.
[00:27:13] Speaker C: Turtle meat for the puppies. That sounds wonderful.
[00:27:15] Speaker A: Alec is up now.
[00:27:16] Speaker F: Save the day, Alec.
[00:27:17] Speaker B: Nobody likes you, Alec.
[00:27:19] Speaker A: He's the hero that you don't want, but that you deserve.
[00:27:21] Speaker F: Okay, so for his first action, he's going to push Temid out of the way and walk up to the turtle.
[00:27:27] Speaker A: Okay. Move, temid.
[00:27:30] Speaker B: Now. We're flanking it.
[00:27:31] Speaker A: Fight this turtle.
[00:27:32] Speaker B: Turtle and I are flanking him. Let's do it.
[00:27:35] Speaker F: 22 to hit.
[00:27:36] Speaker A: That'll hit. Does Alec get another kill to add to his group?
[00:27:39] Speaker F: Eleven.
[00:27:40] Speaker A: All right, the turtle is still up.
[00:27:42] Speaker F: Okay, two on the die. That's a seven.
[00:27:44] Speaker A: Critical fail.
Bad grip. You take a minus two circumstance penalty to attack rolls with this weapon until the end of your next turn. Oh, one turn. Wow.
[00:27:57] Speaker F: That's so bad.
[00:27:58] Speaker G: It's not permanent.
[00:28:01] Speaker C: I don't know why the one that he got was like so there is.
[00:28:05] Speaker A: A decapitation in here.
[00:28:06] Speaker G: I'd rather be decapitated than incapacitated here.
[00:28:10] Speaker F: Okay? And unfortunately, that is the end of his turn. He can't attack again.
[00:28:16] Speaker B: It's time for Temit to show. He goes as he walks around this guy to get up to this turtle and attack it. Let me show you how it's done.
[00:28:24] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:28:24] Speaker B: I'm not going to move my pawn because it's too far away from me.
[00:28:27] Speaker A: Okay. Could have gotten you a booster seat.
[00:28:29] Speaker B: All right.
[00:28:29] Speaker A: Was that a one?
[00:28:30] Speaker B: No, it's 13 total. That's a miss natural 2022.
[00:28:35] Speaker A: That is a crit.
[00:28:38] Speaker D: Show him Kate and Caitlin.
[00:28:40] Speaker B: That's right. So, piercing infection. The target must succeed at a fortitude save or contract filth fever. So some of the Filth fever from was it the rats in the other room? Some of its blood was still on his rapier. If I hit one of them, not sure if I did, but regardless, it's still on there. And when I stab him with it or stab this creature with it, it may contract filthy.
[00:29:03] Speaker A: It does because I rolled a three on the die.
[00:29:06] Speaker F: All right, but you also do double damage.
[00:29:09] Speaker A: You also do double damage. Yeah, that's really what we want to see.
[00:29:13] Speaker B: My weapon is also deadly. So I do one D six plus one times two, plus one D eight. Okay, so 1012 plus it's dead plus another 416.
[00:29:24] Speaker C: He just wants to know it was overkill.
[00:29:26] Speaker A: Kill it.
[00:29:27] Speaker B: So he walks up to this, he's like, let me show you how it's done. And he goes whack. Right into its neck. You can see through its veins. Some of the fill fever starts coursing through one of its veins. But it doesn't really matter because by the time it reaches its eye, it kind of just like glasses over. And it slides off of his rapier and it falls into the water. He says something cool after that.
[00:29:51] Speaker D: I was going to say, let's not eat that one.
[00:29:55] Speaker A: Wait, hold on. Wait.
[00:29:57] Speaker D: What happened to our champions?
[00:29:58] Speaker B: She ran away from a stingy.
[00:29:59] Speaker C: Brianna.
[00:30:01] Speaker D: Oh, my God.
[00:30:02] Speaker F: Breeze.
And 6 seconds later, she pops into yeah, 6 seconds.
[00:30:07] Speaker A: Alex turns to Timid Bro that was awesome. And goes for a high five.
[00:30:13] Speaker B: Then he just puts his hand up.
[00:30:16] Speaker A: Fist bumps your hand.
[00:30:17] Speaker B: That's not a fist bump. It's supposed to be a high five.
Actually, I'm sorry. That's not a fist bump. It's supposed to be a high five.
[00:30:24] Speaker C: He did trust you for a high five. That's odd.
[00:30:27] Speaker B: All right, ready?
[00:30:28] Speaker A: I can't leave a Bro hanging.
[00:30:29] Speaker B: We already tried this once.
[00:30:30] Speaker E: No, wait, that's when Granite appears.
[00:30:34] Speaker C: As she does it, she scoots her hand under his and puts her two fingers up and. Just snailed it.
[00:30:38] Speaker A: Dan.
[00:30:38] Speaker B: Why anyone would want to do that.
[00:30:40] Speaker C: It'S soraya she's more than a little cray.
[00:30:44] Speaker D: I'm going to have to, when we get back to town, get some eyeglasses because I swear that our champion friend over there just disappeared for a couple seconds.
[00:30:53] Speaker C: Well, when you're messing with arcane forces, these things happen.
[00:30:55] Speaker E: True. By the grace of Sarandry's Light, she granted me the ability to cook our dinner tonight.
[00:31:02] Speaker A: It does smell pretty good for some reason.
[00:31:05] Speaker G: It's floating in water that has vomited in it.
[00:31:07] Speaker B: No, the one that she burnt is actually standing on land.
[00:31:11] Speaker G: I'm going to go throw up again.
[00:31:13] Speaker A: Go ahead. Understandable.
[00:31:15] Speaker F: And it is, I'm pretty sure, divine energy.
[00:31:17] Speaker B: She's messing oh, actually so your second is that 20s.
[00:31:21] Speaker A: You're good.
[00:31:22] Speaker B: Never mind. Doesn't matter.
[00:31:23] Speaker A: Shut up.
[00:31:25] Speaker G: I have missed ten attacks in a row.
[00:31:27] Speaker B: I gave you a die to use.
[00:31:29] Speaker A: But you killed that dummy so good.
[00:31:32] Speaker F: You did punch money out of it.
[00:31:33] Speaker A: So so well, all right. So now there are four dead turtles.
[00:31:37] Speaker D: How many rooms are left to explore?
[00:31:39] Speaker A: There's a couple, right. Are you guys going to now explore this room?
[00:31:42] Speaker D: I want to explore this little pond.
[00:31:45] Speaker A: All right. And watch it.
[00:31:47] Speaker B: I said it first.
[00:31:48] Speaker A: I win. All right, let's go back into exploration mode. Let's start over with Soraya.
[00:31:56] Speaker C: She's going to see if there's anything she can dissect out of these guys and use as components. Jasper is feasting on an eyeball somewhere. It's probably as big as he is. He's ecstatic.
[00:32:06] Speaker A: Okay.
Silver, what are you doing? Oh, investigating the pond.
[00:32:10] Speaker D: Yeah, I want to investigate the pond.
[00:32:12] Speaker A: All right.
[00:32:12] Speaker D: That was what I was doing originally before the turtles showed up.
[00:32:17] Speaker A: Pond watcher, what are you doing?
There is still a body on the back of this grave. You know what? You know what?
[00:32:24] Speaker G: Pond watcher is kind of frustrated. He's just going to go sit down in the corner. He's not doing anything.
[00:32:28] Speaker A: All right. I like it. Brianna.
[00:32:29] Speaker B: It's pretty realistic.
[00:32:30] Speaker E: Brianna almost amazed by the good fortune thatre has bestowed upon her. She is going to the other corner to give thanks to her deity and hopefully regain a focus points.
[00:32:46] Speaker A: That her. Okay.
[00:32:47] Speaker B: Yeah, absolutely.
[00:32:49] Speaker A: Spend some time doing that.
[00:32:52] Speaker B: Temid just going to take a quick look around to all of his allies and he'd like to see if anyone's injured with any moderate amount. So Brianna is injured.
[00:33:02] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:33:02] Speaker C: Like you.
[00:33:03] Speaker A: Definitely.
[00:33:04] Speaker B: How many hit points are you down?
[00:33:05] Speaker E: Eight, I believe.
[00:33:06] Speaker B: Okay. And you're down five. And I'm down a bunch too.
[00:33:09] Speaker A: Okay. So you're going to do some healing.
[00:33:11] Speaker B: I am going to do some healing. Correct.
[00:33:13] Speaker A: And Twin, what are you going to be doing?
[00:33:15] Speaker F: I don't know. Anybody said it. Is anybody looking at the dead body?
[00:33:18] Speaker A: No. Okay.
[00:33:19] Speaker F: I'm going to go check out the dead body.
[00:33:20] Speaker A: Silver is looking in the water, you said, right?
[00:33:23] Speaker D: Yes.
[00:33:23] Speaker C: I'm investigating the turtle body. Silver is in the water. Human body?
[00:33:26] Speaker F: Yeah, the corpse that was like the bait? Because I thought somebody said there was something silvery.
[00:33:30] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:33:31] Speaker A: All right, so if you all can give me your rolls.
[00:33:34] Speaker G: I thought it was a fake body. It's a real body.
[00:33:36] Speaker A: No, it's a real body.
[00:33:37] Speaker C: Oh, fudge damn, I got a fork.
[00:33:39] Speaker A: The turtle.
[00:33:39] Speaker B: I have to roll.
[00:33:40] Speaker A: Oh, wait, hang on. What's your alchemy skill?
[00:33:42] Speaker C: That's like a plus seven or eight.
[00:33:44] Speaker A: Well, I need to know. Hang on. Silver. What did you roll? 1616. So as you look around in this water, you find a small sack of coins.
[00:33:59] Speaker D: All right?
[00:34:03] Speaker A: In the coin purse, you find five silver pieces and 40 copper.
[00:34:06] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:34:07] Speaker A: And you're looking at the body. What did you roll?
[00:34:11] Speaker F: 15.
[00:34:12] Speaker A: All right, so as you search this body, it is actually a corpse of another looter. But this looter came what he thought was prepared, but apparently the four graveshells decided to differ with him.
As you search, you find that there is a scroll case on him, and you find it's wearing a silvery looking chain shirt.
[00:34:42] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:34:43] Speaker A: And you find in a belt pouch, six gold and nine silver.
[00:34:48] Speaker F: Six gold, nine silver. All right, I'm going to take off the chain shirt.
[00:34:51] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:34:52] Speaker F: Does it feel like normal steel?
[00:34:55] Speaker A: Yeah, it's normal steel.
[00:34:57] Speaker C: My alchemy is plus seven. Myochemical crafting.
[00:35:00] Speaker A: You managed to harvest a couple bits out of these turtles that you could probably use in alchemy.
[00:35:08] Speaker B: Temid, you were looking at so Temid is going to heal one of his two allies.
[00:35:13] Speaker A: Go ahead and make your healing check.
[00:35:15] Speaker B: You're down by eight. And you're down by how much? Five. So he's going to walk up to Brienne and he's like, that looks like a pretty nasty wound. 20. So, yeah, he makes the heal check. So you get two D, eight points back, three hit points back on fucking two D. Eight.
[00:35:29] Speaker E: Wait, I thank you.
[00:35:30] Speaker B: I tried.
[00:35:31] Speaker A: All right. Okay, so that takes some time. Did you heal everyone or attempt to heal everyone?
[00:35:35] Speaker B: No, but that's ten minutes. I don't know if should.
[00:35:38] Speaker A: Okay, you can.
[00:35:39] Speaker B: So, pond watcher, I fail. Not critically fail, I just point of.
[00:35:45] Speaker G: Order, the last time you tried to heal me, you failed also. And we joked that you stuck your finger into my wound where I made a joke, just like John the Baptist, which was the wrong saint, which is why no one laughed. Yeah. I meant St. Thomas Apostle.
[00:36:05] Speaker B: I wouldn't have laughed into Christ's wound.
[00:36:09] Speaker G: And I realized this weeks later when I listened to the episode. So that's what I meant.
[00:36:14] Speaker A: I'm glad we're referencing it's. A clarification point a couple weeks ago. Meaning, like, episode four or five. Well, you said that and I was talking silence.
[00:36:26] Speaker F: Well, I thought maybe there was something about John the Baptist, like when he got crucified. I think he got crucified upside down or crushed by rock, something like that. Yeah, nothing was good for those guys, but I thought maybe there's something you knew about him that I didn't realize.
[00:36:38] Speaker A: I was like, come on, that's fine.
[00:36:39] Speaker G: I was like, wait, that's completely wrong. So anyway, thanks for nothing is what I'm saying.
[00:36:44] Speaker B: You're welcome.
[00:36:45] Speaker A: All right, so moving on.
All right, selfish.
[00:36:52] Speaker F: So him healing three people is a half hour.
[00:36:54] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't want to do all.
[00:36:56] Speaker A: Right, so we're doing 20 minutes.
[00:36:57] Speaker F: Someone else could heal you while you are healing other people?
[00:37:00] Speaker B: Yes, but no one suggested that they would heal me.
[00:37:02] Speaker C: How many healing potions do we have?
[00:37:04] Speaker A: Guys?
[00:37:04] Speaker G: Yeah, I'll drink one of the healing potions.
[00:37:07] Speaker F: Okay, chug, so does Brianna healing.
[00:37:09] Speaker E: So I'm confused, did he heal you.
[00:37:12] Speaker A: Or I healed you for brianna got.
[00:37:14] Speaker B: Healed for three and then I failed healing him and then I decided not to heal myself because I didn't want to take a half an hour.
[00:37:20] Speaker F: Right, but you all declared what we were doing for the first ten minutes, then you did a second ten minutes and then you were trying to do a third ten minutes. So in the second ten minutes while you were healing Pond Watcher, we all got something else to do.
Brianna could very well be working on you.
[00:37:33] Speaker E: I have to make a DC 15 because I'm doing battle medicine.
[00:37:37] Speaker B: Oh, you're just doing a battle medicine is basically the heel check but in.
[00:37:42] Speaker F: Combat, and normally you can't do it in combat, that one allows you to, which is pretty cool.
[00:37:46] Speaker A: Oh yes, you found two scrolls in that scroll case, by the way.
[00:37:49] Speaker C: Okay, well I guess twin, you can do that with your second ten minutes identify. Unless you can immediately identify what scrolls are.
[00:37:57] Speaker A: No, it's the second ten minutes he's going to look around and I'm assuming someone's going to help him because I think you need help to identify them or can you?
[00:38:04] Speaker F: I can't do that.
[00:38:04] Speaker A: Okay, you can't identify them. Great.
[00:38:06] Speaker F: I've got knowledge is busy tending to temid. I'll go to Surya because I'm sure you know more about scrolls than I do, which is nothing.
[00:38:16] Speaker D: Okay, if we're doing another ten minutes, I'll try to heal Pond Watcher in ten minutes.
[00:38:21] Speaker A: You can't, you can't. Only one person can treat wounds per hour.
[00:38:28] Speaker G: That's okay, I used one of my healing potions and got two hit points.
[00:38:33] Speaker A: Don't worry about it, you're almost back to full. Oh yeah, alec is going to do stuff during this downtime and he's going to be looking for that signet ring.
[00:38:41] Speaker F: He's benched turtles and looking for signature.
[00:38:43] Speaker D: Find a ring? No.
[00:38:45] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:38:45] Speaker D: Found some magical place.
[00:38:46] Speaker E: Are you hurt by any chance?
[00:38:48] Speaker A: No, bro, these things haven't touched me.
[00:38:51] Speaker D: So what's the scroll of?
[00:38:52] Speaker C: So we have a scroll of alarm which takes ten minutes to cast last 8 hours, but if we can designate an area and if anything small or larger than that enters without speaking a password, it sends an alarm to our choice of mental alert or an audible alarm. We can choose.
It will automatically wake anyone up, and the bell allows each creature within the area to attempt a DC 15 perception check to wake up. We also have a scroll of fear.
Depending on how badly the target fails their save, they're either unaffected, frightened one, frightened two, or frightened three and fleeing.
[00:39:30] Speaker A: Cool. All right, so you guys, there are two doors to the west. One is in the upper quadrant. Like in that northern area near the water. There is one closer to the room that looks into the courtroom. Okay, so you've all finished looking. In this room, you have two doors, one to the west. They're both to the west. One is in the upper section. One is in the lower area where that looks into the room. And there is also a door to the northeast.
[00:40:10] Speaker D: I want to go into the smaller room.
[00:40:12] Speaker F: Just the northeast one out there.
[00:40:13] Speaker D: The other one. Yeah, there.
[00:40:15] Speaker A: All right.
[00:40:15] Speaker F: I want to check out the last door in this room. In this room. It is because I can see through the walls, and I can kind of figure out that that's got to be just like a closet or something.
[00:40:23] Speaker A: Yeah, go ahead.
[00:40:25] Speaker F: All right. People who can do whatever they want.
[00:40:28] Speaker A: So you open that door, and you see that it is just that. It is old storage closet. It's very dusty. There's nothing of value in there. It looks like it's been ransacked, but it is completely empty.
[00:40:41] Speaker G: I would like to investigate the judge's bench.
[00:40:44] Speaker A: Sure. As you look around in that judge's bench area give me a roll. 25 nothing. Actually, you do find one thing. I'm sorry, is it a gavel? It is not a gavel. Damn it.
[00:40:57] Speaker B: Is it a wig?
[00:40:58] Speaker G: This tiny scrap of paper?
[00:40:59] Speaker A: It is.
Pass that over, please.
[00:41:02] Speaker F: We're all ready to roll out.
[00:41:04] Speaker A: So, information about I found a book that says this. Yeah.
[00:41:07] Speaker B: Essentially pond watcher read.
[00:41:09] Speaker F: Yeah, we've discovered this before. He can read.
[00:41:12] Speaker G: My intelligence is twelve.
[00:41:13] Speaker A: Silver.
[00:41:14] Speaker B: He's actually more, just far more than a puppy.
[00:41:16] Speaker F: That's right.
[00:41:17] Speaker A: Silver, you open the door.
[00:41:19] Speaker D: All right.
[00:41:20] Speaker A: This grim administrative office has a heavy wooden desk in it and heavy wooden armchairs. Filing cabinets are still largely intact, though most of the furniture drawers have been pulled out and ransacked.
[00:41:34] Speaker D: All right, this looks like where somebody did taxes.
[00:41:38] Speaker A: As you look and notice all of that, you see from the northwestern corner two eyes. Glowing eyes.
[00:41:49] Speaker B: Glowing eyes that are glowing.
[00:41:51] Speaker A: Here we go.
[00:41:52] Speaker B: Shit again.
[00:41:53] Speaker A: No, this is a larger creature.
[00:41:55] Speaker B: Like a cat.
[00:41:56] Speaker C: Or like warg mama.
[00:41:58] Speaker A: Or like oh, my goodness, a warg.
[00:42:00] Speaker B: Oh, shit.
[00:42:00] Speaker A: As it looks and snarls at you and leaps towards you.
[00:42:05] Speaker B: Out of here.
[00:42:06] Speaker F: Roll initiative.
[00:42:07] Speaker A: Yeah, let's roll initiative.
Let's see what happens. Twin, what is your initiative? Actually, hang on. Let's only go with the people in that area. Right now. So, Silver, what is your initiative?
[00:42:19] Speaker D: 20.
[00:42:20] Speaker A: All right, Alec, what is his initiative?
Everyone go ahead and everyone roll. Initiative.
[00:42:27] Speaker F: Alec is 20. He's got a plus seven mod.
[00:42:30] Speaker A: He's going to go after Silver.
[00:42:32] Speaker F: Twin, 15.
[00:42:33] Speaker A: Pond, nine.
[00:42:34] Speaker E: Brianna, eleven.
[00:42:36] Speaker A: Temid, 15. Sarah Serena. Sarah Serea.
[00:42:41] Speaker C: Twelve.
[00:42:42] Speaker A: All right, Silver, you go first. As it has jumped towards you, but you get the first reaction.
[00:42:47] Speaker D: Yeah, I'm going to be like, whoa, there.
And I'm going to withdraw. Yeah, I'm just moving, so I don't want to get hurt, but that's the chance you take.
[00:42:58] Speaker A: Opening door, stride.
Well.
[00:43:01] Speaker D: I'm going to Stride, I guess. Arm to kimbo in one.
[00:43:04] Speaker A: Whoa.
[00:43:05] Speaker D: That's not what a kimbo means.
[00:43:07] Speaker A: What does a kimbo mean?
[00:43:09] Speaker D: It's hands on your hips, hands on fist.
[00:43:11] Speaker B: So like a western cowboy.
[00:43:12] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:43:14] Speaker A: So you're flailing and running away like a wacky waving inflatable cube, man.
[00:43:18] Speaker D: No, I'm not. I'm not being bleaker from the muppets either, but no, I'm going to go. All right, there's a horrible war mama over here. Let's take care of this angry mama.
[00:43:36] Speaker F: And I like how you've identified both its species and sex.
[00:43:40] Speaker A: Would you like to give me a.
[00:43:41] Speaker D: I'm going to do a roll. Give me a calling it a mama.
[00:43:45] Speaker A: Based on the strength of the Arcana or nature, please.
[00:43:48] Speaker D: Okay, 15 on the die. So 21.
[00:43:54] Speaker A: Okay, so it is indeed a warg. It is a male warg. Yeah, that's right, it is a male warg.
[00:44:01] Speaker B: I wonder if there's a like, if it's mate or something is nearby.
[00:44:05] Speaker A: And what would you like to know? You get one question.
[00:44:08] Speaker D: Yeah.
Is it haunted packs? No, I'm going to move as far away as I can from my full 25ft of movement.
[00:44:16] Speaker A: All right.
[00:44:16] Speaker D: Just in the other room, getting away.
[00:44:18] Speaker F: From does it have a reaction?
[00:44:20] Speaker A: It does not shoot. I mean, it does, but it's not using it.
[00:44:22] Speaker D: All right, I'll take it. I'll walk as far away as I can. So everyone has bardic inspiration, plus one to attack and one's damage. So that'll cancel out his obscure curse and a shout that it's a war, daddy.
[00:44:40] Speaker A: It is now Alex turn the hero. You all need bro.
[00:44:44] Speaker B: Nobody cares about him.
[00:44:45] Speaker F: It looks so tame, just like a dog. They'll walk up to it.
[00:44:49] Speaker A: Okay, he strides forward into the room.
[00:44:52] Speaker F: Up into the vacated doorway that the old man has left and he will attack the dog. Wolf creature. 16.
[00:44:59] Speaker A: Miss.
[00:44:59] Speaker F: Okay, he'll swing again. The natural one for a six, that's a critical failure.
Too much stuff. You get tangled in your gear and are encumbered until you spend two interact actions to free yourself.
[00:45:14] Speaker E: What are interact actions?
[00:45:16] Speaker F: Okay, so an interact action is a type of action, some reactions, for instance, like a fighter's attack of opportunity, if someone takes a move or an interact action within 5ft of them, they get to hit you like that's how it's triggered. So these are interact actions. So something has something that triggers off of interact actions. These would trigger.
[00:45:37] Speaker A: Okay, twin, you're up.
[00:45:39] Speaker F: Put Alec out of his misery. I mean hold on.
[00:45:42] Speaker A: Sorry. What?
[00:45:43] Speaker D: I've missed that.
[00:45:44] Speaker F: I'm going to move up and then I will fire at the wark. All right, 13 misses.
[00:45:51] Speaker A: Miss. Yes.
[00:45:52] Speaker F: And I will attack again.
[00:45:53] Speaker A: Okay, third action.
[00:45:54] Speaker F: There we go. Natural 16 plus three. So 19. And it has not gone yet.
[00:46:00] Speaker A: Correct.
[00:46:00] Speaker F: So that gives you sneak and tank again. Kind of an underwhelming three D, six eight damage.
[00:46:05] Speaker A: All right, it's turn.
[00:46:06] Speaker B: Oh, man.
[00:46:07] Speaker A: No.
[00:46:07] Speaker G: Alec, watch out.
[00:46:10] Speaker B: Go get him. Go get him.
[00:46:11] Speaker A: So the warg is indeed going to bite. Alec, are you sure it doesn't smell.
[00:46:15] Speaker B: Like it's babies in somebody else's backpack.
[00:46:18] Speaker A: Ruining it for me.
Alec is going to get bit or attacked for a 29.
[00:46:24] Speaker F: That is sorry, I'm looking up what I think. That's a crit.
[00:46:27] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:46:28] Speaker F: Because he is encumbered, which gives him clumsy.
[00:46:33] Speaker A: Right?
[00:46:34] Speaker F: And clumsy says take a status penalty equal to the value on all dexterity based checks and DCs, such as AC Reflex saves dexterity based attack rolls, skill checks for Acrobatics Stealth and Thievery. So with the minus one, that puts him at a 19. So a 29 would be a critical hit.
[00:46:51] Speaker D: All right, named Warg.
[00:46:53] Speaker A: It is not a named warg, but it does crit.
[00:46:56] Speaker B: Can we name it wargy?
[00:46:57] Speaker D: I've called it warg.
[00:46:58] Speaker A: So that is a 20 points of damage.
[00:47:02] Speaker E: What?
[00:47:03] Speaker A: Whoa. As the warg bites and grabs onto Alec in his mouth.
[00:47:10] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:47:13] Speaker E: Am I within 15ft?
No, I see myself now. Okay, never mind. Sorry, Alec, I tried.
[00:47:19] Speaker A: It is then going to power attack. Bite. Alec again.
[00:47:25] Speaker F: Power attack is a two action action.
[00:47:28] Speaker D: First action was to bite bite.
[00:47:30] Speaker A: Second action is to power bite.
[00:47:31] Speaker G: You're doing great, Alec.
[00:47:32] Speaker D: No wonder he failed his initiative three times.
[00:47:35] Speaker A: 16.
[00:47:36] Speaker F: Not a hit.
[00:47:36] Speaker A: Okay, so it does not power attack. It Temid. All right, this warg is brutalizing. Your new friend.
[00:47:43] Speaker B: That's a very loose definition of the word friend, but okay, so Temid runs up to this. Yeah. He strides up to it and hopefully he doesn't get hit. Entering close to it. Then he rolls an attack. I rolled a five, but I feel like this is a big scenario and I haven't really used it before, so I'm cashing in one of my hero.
[00:48:02] Speaker A: All right, nice. I think that's a first for the show.
[00:48:06] Speaker B: We don't get hero points.
[00:48:08] Speaker A: Sean.
[00:48:08] Speaker B: 20 total. Plus one.
[00:48:11] Speaker A: Including the plus one, that is a hit.
[00:48:13] Speaker B: All right, so three points of damage, but it's still getting the ball rolling.
[00:48:17] Speaker C: Good.
[00:48:17] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:48:18] Speaker A: Good job.
[00:48:19] Speaker B: Second attack.
[00:48:20] Speaker A: All right, second attack.
[00:48:21] Speaker B: 17 no, 18. I'm sorry.
[00:48:23] Speaker A: 18 hits.
[00:48:24] Speaker B: Hit six points of damage.
[00:48:25] Speaker A: There we go.
[00:48:26] Speaker B: And that's it. Because he already moved up to it. So that's the ends up see, over the last few battles, he started to kind of become a little bit more fond of our budy Alec here because he's put his life on the line for us a few times. He's done some damage. So he immediately comes to his aid, feeling that he's starting to help us on our journey. And so he comes in and he tries to protect them. He imposes himself a little bit between them and then he just stabs it in the neck once and then stabs it tries to stab in the eye, but then he missed a little bit and gets right into its nose and pulls his rapier back. And he kind of says something cool.
I have boogers on my sword.
[00:49:10] Speaker A: I have boogers on my sword.
[00:49:11] Speaker C: Charaya, she still got her swing out, so she's going to try and whap it in the face with a little pebble or something.
[00:49:18] Speaker A: All right, well, myth.
[00:49:20] Speaker C: All right, she's going to try one more time.
[00:49:21] Speaker A: Hits off the back wall.
[00:49:22] Speaker C: That's a 19.
[00:49:24] Speaker A: There we go.
[00:49:25] Speaker B: Good job.
[00:49:25] Speaker A: Total hit.
[00:49:26] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:49:26] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:49:27] Speaker C: For three damage. And she'll try one more time.
Hasn't moved at all.
[00:49:32] Speaker A: The one that's a critical failure. I know what it is. Are you a named character? No.
[00:49:37] Speaker F: So far.
[00:49:38] Speaker E: Aching back.
[00:49:38] Speaker C: I am fatigued.
[00:49:39] Speaker A: Okay, for how long?
[00:49:41] Speaker C: It just says you are fatigued.
[00:49:42] Speaker A: You're fatigued till you get back, till you rest, finally rest.
[00:49:45] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:49:45] Speaker G: Which is also weird. That's when my thing goes away, too.
[00:49:47] Speaker C: Brianna, the poor elves are suffering together.
[00:49:50] Speaker E: Brianna, it's your brianna is going to flavor charge in and shield bash the wolf off of her new friend.
[00:49:57] Speaker B: Nice. I like it.
[00:49:58] Speaker E: I felt it was a propos.
[00:50:01] Speaker A: Here we go.
[00:50:03] Speaker F: Two movement actions to get there and then one.
[00:50:05] Speaker E: So just one shield bash. Yeah, that makes sense. 21.
[00:50:08] Speaker A: That'll hit.
[00:50:09] Speaker B: Nice.
[00:50:10] Speaker E: Good job for seven bashing.
[00:50:13] Speaker B: There you go.
[00:50:14] Speaker A: Dead. No, it's not dead, but that's impressive. All right. Get off of him, pond Watcher. It's time to redeem yourself.
[00:50:20] Speaker G: Pond Watcher uses an action to draw a javelin.
[00:50:24] Speaker A: Okay, one javelin pulled out.
[00:50:26] Speaker G: He looks at it and says, now is the time I can be a man. And he throws it.
[00:50:33] Speaker A: Okay, eleven misses. Not critically, just misses it. Funk hits the wall.
[00:50:41] Speaker B: Can you stop rolling your D?
[00:50:42] Speaker A: Twelve.
[00:50:44] Speaker G: Is it an action to draw or you have to draw?
[00:50:48] Speaker A: Draw one, throw two.
[00:50:50] Speaker D: Hold up. I'm going to spend a hero point so you can reroll that.
[00:50:53] Speaker G: Actually, no, I'll spend my hero.
[00:50:55] Speaker A: All right.
You can't trade hero points, but you can spend it.
[00:50:59] Speaker D: Well, I had three.
[00:51:00] Speaker A: No, I know. Thank you for reroll it. Reroll it. Let's see what worse.
[00:51:07] Speaker B: You can spend another one.
[00:51:08] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:51:08] Speaker C: You want to spend one more?
[00:51:10] Speaker A: No. Okay. I was going to give him you can't trade them. They're non transferable.
[00:51:16] Speaker G: Sails all the way over the warg and hits the wall and probably explodes blenders.
[00:51:21] Speaker A: And.
[00:51:23] Speaker G: He'S just, like, flipping shit. And he's going to sudden charge two strides into it.
[00:51:31] Speaker F: Okay, there's not a spot open.
[00:51:33] Speaker G: You can go through your allies, right?
[00:51:35] Speaker A: I believe so.
[00:51:36] Speaker B: With charge, there's no place for you to work.
[00:51:38] Speaker F: Is basically in the door.
[00:51:39] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:51:39] Speaker C: You need a place to stop.
[00:51:40] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:51:41] Speaker F: Is there like a way to use acrobatics when you're moving to get through? It used to be a thing.
[00:51:44] Speaker A: I don't know.
[00:51:45] Speaker B: But also it would be a part of the whole sudden chart thing. Does that work?
[00:51:49] Speaker A: I think it would be cool if you okay, fine.
Sorry.
[00:51:55] Speaker G: Draws his halbert.
[00:51:56] Speaker A: He draws his halbert. Silver, you're up.
[00:51:59] Speaker D: All right, well going to continue to try to inspire everybody, man. You all got this.
Get that work, Daddy. Show them what for.
[00:52:08] Speaker B: Make work, daddy a thing. It's not a thing.
[00:52:10] Speaker D: It's a thing now.
[00:52:12] Speaker A: It is now.
[00:52:13] Speaker D: And I'm going to actually go take my move action and move to the other door in the far there. I'm going to open it and I'm going to go into the other room.
[00:52:22] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:52:23] Speaker F: I'm just curious.
[00:52:24] Speaker D: I want to explore around.
[00:52:25] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:52:26] Speaker B: I'm in exploration mode, guys.
[00:52:28] Speaker E: I'm an old person.
[00:52:29] Speaker A: You all doing great.
[00:52:30] Speaker G: See you.
[00:52:31] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:52:32] Speaker F: I'm opening that door so you could inspire courage. Move to the door.
[00:52:36] Speaker B: Door.
[00:52:36] Speaker F: Opening the door to the room going.
[00:52:39] Speaker D: In is another act. So I'm opening the door.
[00:52:41] Speaker A: Okay. Yes.
[00:52:42] Speaker F: To the room we have where a.
[00:52:43] Speaker B: Warg happens to be standing waiting for.
[00:52:45] Speaker G: Us while you're playing music into the now open room.
[00:52:47] Speaker A: All right, I will give you the room description and then we'll go back.
Although many of the circular tables and heavy wooden writing desks here are tipped over or otherwise ransacked the bookshelves against the wall and the nature of the furniture suggests that this was once a room where significant legal research took place. All right, Richard, it's right up your it.
[00:53:14] Speaker C: Tom Notcher doesn't care.
[00:53:15] Speaker A: Richard is, like, ready to throw up Alex turn. So I'm going to take one of Alex actions to withdraw from this.
[00:53:25] Speaker B: Why?
[00:53:26] Speaker A: You know what? No. He's a hell knight.
[00:53:27] Speaker B: I think he stays a hell of a knight.
[00:53:29] Speaker A: Well, he's trying to be a Hell knight, so he's going to stay an attack.
[00:53:32] Speaker C: Well, there's the escape action counts. It's listed as an attack.
[00:53:35] Speaker D: Well, you said he just needs to spend two actions to unencumber himself.
[00:53:39] Speaker A: Oh, that's right.
[00:53:40] Speaker F: And then he can attack. No, he can attack either way.
[00:53:43] Speaker A: But he takes the negative. Yeah. So I think he'd spend two actions.
[00:53:47] Speaker F: To he doesn't take a negative to attack because he's not using decks to attack.
[00:53:51] Speaker A: Okay, so yeah, he's just going to.
[00:53:53] Speaker F: Only takes a negative to decks based things.
[00:53:56] Speaker A: Okay, so he's going to go at this thing. Matt, roll those dice. Kill it. Kill it with fire or whatever he's using.
[00:54:02] Speaker F: Sword 19.
[00:54:03] Speaker A: Hit.
[00:54:04] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Say goodnight. We stole your babies.
[00:54:07] Speaker F: Ten damage.
[00:54:08] Speaker A: He lops it in the chest.
[00:54:11] Speaker F: Upswing.
[00:54:12] Speaker A: Yes, upswing. And it falls down dead. Combat is over.
[00:54:17] Speaker C: Unless you would like to continue down.
[00:54:19] Speaker A: Okay, well she's fatigued.
[00:54:20] Speaker C: She actually can't take exploration actions now.
[00:54:22] Speaker A: Oh jeez.
[00:54:23] Speaker F: Okay, is that part of fatigued?
[00:54:24] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:54:25] Speaker C: You cannot take exploration actions in exploration mode.
[00:54:27] Speaker A: Wow.
[00:54:27] Speaker E: Guess we rest here.
[00:54:29] Speaker D: I'm going to explore this room. The door that I just opened, I.
[00:54:33] Speaker E: Will go to Soraya and scoop her.
[00:54:36] Speaker C: Fine. I'm fine. I think dying today, it's taken a lot out of me.
[00:54:41] Speaker E: Been quite a day my dear.
[00:54:42] Speaker C: I keep saying I've wanted to rest.
[00:54:44] Speaker E: I'm sorry but the constitution for this apparently it's quite difficult. I'll be happy to carry you until we find a good place.
[00:54:52] Speaker C: I appreciate it, thank you.
[00:54:53] Speaker A: No, let me you just see a bunch of if you insist, burn it to the ground.
[00:55:01] Speaker D: I know what to do here. Takes out a flint steel no in anathema is for me to not be explored and curious.
[00:55:10] Speaker F: Okay, so there's two more doors. Do you want to run ahead of those?
[00:55:13] Speaker A: Well, hang on. We're in exploration mode. You two are chatting and taking care of each other. You're looking in that room. Pond Watcher, what are you doing?
[00:55:20] Speaker G: Pond Watcher is going to morosely go retrieve his javelin.
[00:55:24] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:55:25] Speaker G: And I guess he'll follow Silver.
[00:55:28] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:55:29] Speaker G: Pond Watcher, I've missed eleven attacks in a row.
[00:55:33] Speaker A: All right. Temid, what are you doing?
[00:55:35] Speaker B: So Temid's actually going to walk up to Alec okay. And he's going to say nice work there.
[00:55:42] Speaker A: Thanks bro.
[00:55:43] Speaker B: And then he says would you mind? And then he kind of points at the symbol of Asmodeus. Okay, do you mind if I make a little change to that?
[00:55:53] Speaker F: Whatever.
[00:55:54] Speaker B: And then so he touches it and he cast press the digitation and he changes the color, kind of washes out the symbology and just makes it like just a patch now just a solid colored patch. All right, that works. And I don't know if that's the whole thing and then maybe he'll say kind of run out of drinks but maybe we'll share something when we get back to town.
[00:56:13] Speaker A: Yeah bro, I'd love a Brusky.
[00:56:15] Speaker B: Sorry, bruskies are my thing.
[00:56:18] Speaker A: Awesome.
[00:56:18] Speaker B: You should head over to the Cadence Keg.
[00:56:20] Speaker A: Yeah, duh. Cadence Keg stands is what we called it back in the day.
[00:56:27] Speaker B: Okay, I'm uncomfortable now.
[00:56:29] Speaker A: Let's leave. All right. Twin Talon, what are you doing?
[00:56:32] Speaker F: Twin Talon does not want to get the wargs near the Dead Warg fair. Okay, but he'll motion Alec to come over.
[00:56:40] Speaker A: What's up bro?
[00:56:41] Speaker F: Well, it looks like you took a pretty solid bite in that last fight.
[00:56:46] Speaker A: Yeah, it hurt a lot.
[00:56:47] Speaker F: Do you have any ability to heal yourself?
[00:56:49] Speaker A: No bro.
[00:56:50] Speaker F: Do you want a potion?
[00:56:51] Speaker A: Sure bro.
[00:56:52] Speaker F: Okay, so Twin Talon will reach him his backpack and he'll grab a potion and he'll hand it to Alec.
[00:56:57] Speaker A: Okay, so it's one D eight.
[00:57:00] Speaker F: No, he doesn't really feel any effect of it. Okay, I'm going to see if it has the placebo effect though. If he's like yeah, I feel much better.
[00:57:07] Speaker A: Yeah, of course he is.
[00:57:08] Speaker B: Kevin was going to help heal him, but I guess now that you've given him a healing post yeah, he's good.
[00:57:12] Speaker F: Yeah, he's probably fine.
[00:57:14] Speaker A: Well, I mean, you're a doctor, if you're looking for that.
[00:57:17] Speaker B: I'm not a doctor. Play one on a podcast.
You know, parents would be much happier with doctor.
[00:57:28] Speaker A: Oh, it's sad because we've all been there.
If you want to take a look to see if there's any healing effects, you can make a medicine check.
[00:57:37] Speaker B: No, I was just thinking he would want to do a healed check on them just to treat wounds. It's going to coincidentally be ten minutes eleven, so it doesn't do anything.
[00:57:47] Speaker A: All right. Is anyone investigating this room?
[00:57:49] Speaker F: I think that's everybody.
[00:57:50] Speaker A: Yeah. All right.
Ten minutes later, after do you want.
[00:57:55] Speaker C: To do a little role play bit?
[00:57:56] Speaker A: Yeah, sure.
[00:57:58] Speaker D: I was going to go into the keep exploring other rooms.
[00:58:00] Speaker A: Okay, so hang on, because you went in there for the ten minutes you looked around that room, you didn't really find anything during that time.
Twin Talon gave Alec the healing potion. Temit attempt to heal him didn't work, soraya collapsed on the ground. Brianna walked over to talk to her. They talked for a bit.
[00:58:23] Speaker F: I think they wanted to role play that out.
[00:58:24] Speaker A: Yeah, go ahead. Yeah.
[00:58:25] Speaker E: Rude.
[00:58:26] Speaker A: Yes, that's my name.
[00:58:30] Speaker C: So do you scoop her up and.
[00:58:31] Speaker E: Like yeah, I am very strong. Let me at least help you to your feet. I would feel terrible for you to have to muck about. You've already had to mend your dress at least once.
[00:58:45] Speaker C: I have. Thank you very much. I appreciate the course. Of course.
[00:58:50] Speaker E: I believe we really should rest.
[00:58:52] Speaker C: Truly, I think we should. Now, Haya, you were giving me eyes. Is Rihanna giving Saraya eyes?
[00:59:00] Speaker E: I think unintentionally, it's more like the blush to her cheek sort of thing.
[00:59:05] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:59:05] Speaker C: But I noticed you've been paying a lot of attention to Bond watcher.
[00:59:09] Speaker A: What?
[00:59:09] Speaker C: Me like you've gone to check on him a number of times. Oh, have I?
[00:59:16] Speaker A: Red.
[00:59:20] Speaker C: If you have any questions about elves, dear.
[00:59:24] Speaker A: Like anatomy or something?
[00:59:25] Speaker C: No, just cultural customs, things like that.
[00:59:28] Speaker E: Well, perhaps we shall talk about this over a glass of wine or something.
[00:59:38] Speaker C: I would love that, actually.
[00:59:39] Speaker A: Perfect.
[00:59:39] Speaker C: Glass of wine sounds wonderful.
[00:59:42] Speaker A: Head on down to Cadence Keg.
[00:59:45] Speaker E: He just, like, slides into the foreground of the scene.
[00:59:47] Speaker A: Cadence Keg?
[00:59:48] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:59:49] Speaker A: So with that that's about ten minutes later, alec looks kind of like he's not feeling super great. Kind of starts to rock back and forth.
[01:00:03] Speaker F: He should make a fortitude save.
[01:00:05] Speaker A: What's his bonus? Is it twelve?
[01:00:08] Speaker F: Nine.
[01:00:08] Speaker A: Oh, so it's a total of a twelve. Yeah.
[01:00:10] Speaker F: So that's not an 18.
[01:00:11] Speaker B: No.
[01:00:12] Speaker G: Oh, boy.
[01:00:13] Speaker F: So he immediately takes one D. Four points of poison damage.
[01:00:16] Speaker A: Jeez. And that is four points.
[01:00:19] Speaker D: He's got one hit point left.
[01:00:20] Speaker A: Is that it?
[01:00:21] Speaker F: Unless he. Has something to say about it.
[01:00:22] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:00:23] Speaker B: Okay. So actually, now, bro, if you play this back, it looks like he gives him a healing potion. Then Temid, who's been really antagonistic with him this whole time, tries to treat him, and then he falls.
You know, Temid just kind of walks up.
[01:00:40] Speaker F: He also gains the second one condition.
[01:00:42] Speaker A: I don't feel good, bro.
[01:00:44] Speaker B: Tebid runs up to him and he kind of, like, kind of puts a hand on his chest and is like, what's wrong? Yeah, so he's not feeling well. Temit's going to do a medicine check, I guess, on him.
[01:00:53] Speaker F: Okay, how long does that take?
[01:00:55] Speaker A: Ten minutes.
[01:00:55] Speaker E: On the meantime, Brianna is carrying her around wherever we're going.
[01:00:59] Speaker B: Well, not recall knowledge.
[01:01:00] Speaker E: And yes, we want character art of that. Thank you.
[01:01:04] Speaker B: I don't really see anything here about, like, trying to figure out what's wrong with somebody. Okay.
[01:01:09] Speaker A: Recall.
[01:01:09] Speaker F: So yeah, you can just recall knowledge, spend ten minutes, try to figure out what's wrong with them.
[01:01:12] Speaker A: All right.
[01:01:13] Speaker F: Okay, so before that happens okay, 1 minute into doing that, he takes another one. D six points of damage.
[01:01:18] Speaker A: D six four.
[01:01:20] Speaker F: So he is now unconscious and dying.
[01:01:21] Speaker A: He's at dying one. Jesus.
[01:01:23] Speaker F: And as he starts collapsing to the ground, twin Talon kind of just kneels down over him and whispers to him.
[01:01:29] Speaker A: We'll find out what he whispers next week.
