[00:00:38] Speaker A: Welcome to the hundred and 14th episode of the Crack Die podcast. [00:00:45] Speaker B: Hooray. [00:00:47] Speaker C: Heck, yeah. That was it. Okay. [00:00:50] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:00:54] Speaker E: I refuse to participate. [00:00:56] Speaker A: Why? [00:00:58] Speaker C: We're 114 episodes in. And how long have we been doing this? [00:01:04] Speaker A: Two years. [00:01:04] Speaker D: Couple years now. I don't even know anymore. Well, we started before quarantine or before the COVID nonsense, so probably closer to three years. [00:01:13] Speaker A: Yeah, we're getting close to three years at this point. [00:01:15] Speaker C: Oh, man. [00:01:16] Speaker E: Back in the before time. [00:01:20] Speaker D: Yeah, we started in the before times. Remember when we used to meet in person? [00:01:24] Speaker C: Oh, gross. Fondly. Yes. Oh, I mean. Gross. What? [00:01:29] Speaker B: Actually, I do miss that Frou Frou pizza place. [00:01:32] Speaker A: Yeah, I was thinking about that the other day. [00:01:34] Speaker C: It is very lovely. [00:01:35] Speaker A: It's kind of. Kind of lovely. Yeah. [00:01:37] Speaker F: Rob, do you also miss the Frou Frou Froo? Frou Frou P Pim. [00:01:44] Speaker B: Sorry, what? Can you. [00:01:47] Speaker A: Someone quick reboot Heidi? [00:01:52] Speaker F: Because I sure miss it because I was totally there, too. Right, Rob? [00:01:56] Speaker E: I remember seeing you there. [00:01:57] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:01:59] Speaker F: Totally. [00:02:01] Speaker E: There was that time you ordered that thing. I remember. [00:02:03] Speaker F: Yeah, I remember. Yeah. And you ordered the other thing, and it was delicious. [00:02:07] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:02:07] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:02:08] Speaker A: So I think, therefore you are. I think this episode comes out on the 20. January. [00:02:15] Speaker D: Okay. [00:02:16] Speaker A: Just throwing that out there. [00:02:17] Speaker B: What year? [00:02:20] Speaker A: Who knows anymore? 2022. [00:02:23] Speaker E: Wow. That doesn't sound like a real year. [00:02:26] Speaker A: I know. It sounds like the future. [00:02:28] Speaker B: Like the distant future. The year 2000. [00:02:32] Speaker C: The year 2000. [00:02:33] Speaker A: Yeah. In the year 2000. Yeah. Happy New Year, I guess. I know it's too. A little late in the. [00:02:42] Speaker D: I was gonna say this is coming out on the 20th. We had an episode on the 13th and an episode on the 6th. [00:02:48] Speaker A: Yeah, that's true. [00:02:50] Speaker B: But Shawn didn't realize it. That's the thing. [00:02:53] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. No, I was still hungover from New Year's Eve. [00:02:57] Speaker E: This is a friendly reminder that you probably need to get a reservation for next month. Just saying. [00:03:04] Speaker D: Yeah. Yeah, good point. [00:03:06] Speaker A: Why? What goes on in February? [00:03:09] Speaker E: A giant conspiracy by the greeting card industry. That's what goes on. [00:03:13] Speaker A: Yeah. Let's fight the power, Rob. Fight the Mandev. [00:03:18] Speaker B: Which man? [00:03:19] Speaker A: That man. [00:03:20] Speaker B: Dumb man. [00:03:21] Speaker A: No, no, no, no. That man. [00:03:24] Speaker E: Stanley Hallmark. [00:03:26] Speaker B: Stanley. [00:03:26] Speaker D: Oh, my God. [00:03:28] Speaker E: I just made that up. I don't know who. [00:03:30] Speaker A: Okay, well, this has gone somewhere, and I don't know where, but last time we were playing this game, you guys had managed to defeat the two ghosts, as well as the two haunts downstairs. [00:03:54] Speaker C: Thank goodness. [00:03:55] Speaker A: Yes. And then you investigated the downstairs of the long roads coffee house. You found a trap door in one room leading upstairs that was opened and a trap door in another room that did not seem to be opened and looked very, uh, hidden. So you guys decided to go up the stairs and you see these two tiger people that you were. That were talking in infernal. And you guys questioned them. When we left, Twintalon had decided to abruptly stab one of those tiger people. And he rolled a 28. 28 eight against a innocent tiger person who was just drinking coffee and sipping tea. And he hits them for how much damage? [00:04:52] Speaker B: It's a great question. It's a great question, Sean. [00:04:54] Speaker A: It is. It's a great question. Because I didn't tell you if you had hit or miss and you hit great because they are flat footed to you, you jerk. They were just drinking coffee, telling you all about how Nadal had attacked this place. [00:05:11] Speaker B: We've heard that song in dance before. [00:05:13] Speaker C: Mm hmm. [00:05:14] Speaker B: So 27 damage. And I would like to tag this tiger person with debilitating strike to give it a plus two d six precision damage on my next attacks. [00:05:29] Speaker A: So it looks like you. You definitely hit. And it looks like some of it went through. A good chunk of it went through. [00:05:38] Speaker B: It looks like it's magic. Cold iron weapon. [00:05:41] Speaker A: Yep. But not all of it. Not all of it. So now I'm gonna have everyone roll initiative, which is exciting. [00:05:47] Speaker C: Oh, boy. [00:05:49] Speaker A: Christine, what did Soraya get? [00:05:51] Speaker D: Saraya has a 34. [00:05:54] Speaker A: All right, haya, what does Briana have? [00:05:57] Speaker C: Brianna has a 32. [00:05:59] Speaker A: All right, Heidi, what does. Who have. [00:06:02] Speaker F: Who has 23? [00:06:04] Speaker A: Matt, what does twin talon have? [00:06:06] Speaker B: 28. I rolled a five. [00:06:08] Speaker A: Ooh, that's not great. Not great at all. And. Yeah, and knife, sword. I'm assuming you have, like, a 70, right? [00:06:18] Speaker E: 222. [00:06:19] Speaker A: 222. All right, so what we're gonna do is we're gonna drop off that first two to convert it from goblin to human math. So that's gonna be a 22. [00:06:29] Speaker E: I'm disturbed that you know how to do that. [00:06:31] Speaker A: Look, I've dealt with my fair share of goblins. [00:06:34] Speaker B: What's your share? [00:06:36] Speaker A: My share? It's probably the nineties share. You know, life after love. [00:06:42] Speaker B: Okay, I've already regret asking that question. [00:06:46] Speaker A: Saraya, you go first. [00:06:49] Speaker D: This should be interesting. I'm gonna move behind the one that twin Talon is standing in front of. [00:06:56] Speaker A: Okay. [00:06:57] Speaker D: I wanna grab whatever little trinket I saw that designates them as symbols of the scarlet triad. I wanna snatch one off of them. [00:07:06] Speaker A: Yes, you snatch. Actually, give me a athletics roll. [00:07:12] Speaker D: You sure? It wouldn't be stealth or thievery to pickpocketh? [00:07:15] Speaker A: All right, give me a thievery roll. Cool. [00:07:17] Speaker D: Because it's a plus one for athletics and a plus 17 for thievery. [00:07:21] Speaker C: All right, 25. [00:07:23] Speaker A: 25. Uh, that's enough to be there, really. [00:07:29] Speaker D: I want. I want them to know that I saw it and that I know what it is. [00:07:33] Speaker A: Okay, so she's gonna, like, step up. [00:07:35] Speaker D: Behind it, just kind of snatch that and be like, oh, yes, just harmless folk, are you? And then she's gonna punch him. [00:07:41] Speaker A: Okay, so you see how they're wearing, like, this red scarf? [00:07:45] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:07:46] Speaker A: As you. You notice that the symbol is kind of, like, stitched into the scarf, so it's very hard to see. You manage to rip it off, flash it to your group, and then you punch this tiger person. [00:08:00] Speaker D: I'm gonna try and shove him onto, like, further onto Twintellon's sword. It's a 32 to hit. [00:08:05] Speaker A: 32 will hit a. [00:08:07] Speaker D: Okay, this isn't my best attack, but it's just kind of fun. And then I'll start throwing bombs. Seven damage. I don't even know if any of that's gonna go through. [00:08:17] Speaker A: And what type of damage is that? Bludgeoning. [00:08:19] Speaker D: Bludgeoning. They are technically magic. Cause it's a one striking. Hand wraps. [00:08:24] Speaker A: Okay. So you punch them, and it doesn't look like there's any physical damage. [00:08:29] Speaker D: I figured, like I said, I'll start throwing bombs next time, but. Hey, Brianna, I'm flanking twin silent. [00:08:36] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:08:37] Speaker C: Hmm. Brianna is very confused as to why we're attacking. [00:08:41] Speaker D: Oh, no. Saraya literally pulls up the symbol of the scarlet triad and says, like, these guys are slavers. [00:08:47] Speaker A: Yeah. Cool. She clashes. The symbol of the scarlet triad that she ripped off one of them. [00:08:53] Speaker D: Yeah, that's my second action was to do that. [00:08:55] Speaker C: I'm going to give, ooh, some breathing room. So is this squeezing if I pop into the square next to. [00:09:02] Speaker A: No, I'm gonna say you can just kind of, like, push the table out of the way. [00:09:08] Speaker C: Sure. Briana strides over and kicks the table. [00:09:11] Speaker A: Out of the way. It shatters on the wall. [00:09:14] Speaker C: That's right. Hell, yeah. And engages the furthest of the two kitties because. Yes. If Twintan and Surya are working on one, she wants to be able to focus their attention on her. [00:09:32] Speaker A: Okay. [00:09:33] Speaker C: As a 33, that will hit for 18 damage. [00:09:38] Speaker A: And what is the breakdown of that damage? [00:09:40] Speaker C: Correct. [00:09:40] Speaker A: Looks like you have twelve slashing and six good. [00:09:47] Speaker C: Which means I don't think the good counts to them if they are not. [00:09:51] Speaker D: They don't know if they're evil or not. [00:09:52] Speaker B: If they're evil accounts. [00:09:53] Speaker A: Oh. [00:09:54] Speaker C: Oh. Well, I'm assuming that as slavers, they're evil. So therefore, yes. The breakdown would be slashing and good. Plus the striking rune. [00:10:08] Speaker A: Yeah. Damage. All right, so that was a move and a swing. And you have one more action. [00:10:13] Speaker C: Hmm. I'll do it again. [00:10:15] Speaker A: All right. [00:10:16] Speaker C: The 36, that is a hit for an additional 16 damage. [00:10:22] Speaker A: So that's 14 physical and two. Good. Okay, I'll say. When you hit them, the slashing looks like some of it is blocked. But the good, like, when you slash and, like, the regular slash doesn't do anything, but when the holy light that kind of, like, ripples off of your weapon cuts into them, that looks really effective. [00:10:46] Speaker C: The good damage does? [00:10:47] Speaker A: Yes. [00:10:47] Speaker C: All right. Good to know. [00:10:49] Speaker A: Yes. Okay, it is now one of my creatures turns. The one between twin Talon and Saraya. Oh, boy. Well, so many things I can do. [00:11:04] Speaker B: Where does he get these wonderful toys? [00:11:06] Speaker A: I know exactly. All right. 30 foot emanation. So that's from them, right? [00:11:18] Speaker B: Yes. [00:11:18] Speaker D: That's bigger than this entire room. [00:11:20] Speaker A: Okay, good. Love it. 30 foot emanation. I need everyone to give me a will save. However, if you are evil, do not have to make the save. [00:11:33] Speaker B: Does that apply to anyone? [00:11:35] Speaker C: Huh? [00:11:35] Speaker A: I'm just. I'm not saying it does. I'm just saying, you know, if you. [00:11:39] Speaker B: Happen to be evil watching, uh, watching. [00:11:43] Speaker C: I don't think that's even possible. Unless if I've been lying, that I'm a. [00:11:47] Speaker A: That's what I'm saying the entire time. [00:11:49] Speaker E: Did you say will? [00:11:51] Speaker A: I did say will. [00:11:54] Speaker C: My problem being that you've seen me cast good magic so it could be perverted. [00:11:59] Speaker A: Good magic. [00:12:00] Speaker C: Oh, that's true. [00:12:01] Speaker E: Oh, yeah. [00:12:02] Speaker C: Jesus. [00:12:03] Speaker E: Oh, yeah. [00:12:05] Speaker A: Oh. Oh, yes. But it's still one lower. [00:12:10] Speaker B: Hey, but you know what? My mod is one lower, so I'm not that upset about it. [00:12:15] Speaker F: Okay. [00:12:15] Speaker D: Okay. [00:12:15] Speaker B: All right. [00:12:17] Speaker A: All right. Saraya, what did you get? [00:12:20] Speaker D: I got a 30. [00:12:22] Speaker A: Okay, Haya, what did you get? [00:12:25] Speaker C: I completely lost it. I got so excited. I got a 29. [00:12:28] Speaker A: Okay. [00:12:29] Speaker F: Heidi, 33. [00:12:32] Speaker B: Matt got a natural 20 for a 38. [00:12:35] Speaker A: And knife sword, I got a natural. [00:12:38] Speaker E: 20 for a 39. [00:12:43] Speaker A: All right, so everybody saves if you save. Okay? Wow. This is one of the very few save or suck spells that exists. So you all save nothing. Nothing happens. You do see that you're all assaulted by evil decadence from, like, this. This creature's live life. Like, you see them ripping apart people and things. [00:13:10] Speaker B: Evil decadence? [00:13:11] Speaker A: Yes. [00:13:12] Speaker D: Decadence is like opulence. You own everything. Like fancy. [00:13:17] Speaker E: I think I would have described it as evil dick dense. [00:13:19] Speaker B: Mm hmm. [00:13:20] Speaker C: Mm hmm. [00:13:22] Speaker A: So this lasts for one round. So this will last until the end of its neck till the start of its next turn. It's then going to draw a kukri and look at the elf that swung at it with a fist and stab at Saraya. [00:13:43] Speaker B: So does drawing a weapon count as a manipulate action? [00:13:46] Speaker C: I was gonna ask. Cause wouldn't that provoke my attack of opportunity? [00:13:50] Speaker A: Let me take a look. [00:13:52] Speaker D: Yeah, I don't know if it's manipulator interact. [00:13:54] Speaker B: It is interact. [00:13:56] Speaker A: So do interact actions. [00:13:57] Speaker B: Cause I don't know that it is. But did they cast a spell, or was that like, an innate ability? [00:14:03] Speaker A: By the way, it is a one action action. Its eyes just flash green as it projects telepathic weights. [00:14:12] Speaker D: Okay, so, okay, then the term evil decadence, like, if that's the name of the ability, makes a little more sense. [00:14:18] Speaker B: Which just says to draw or put away a worn item or pick up an item, is an interact. [00:14:23] Speaker A: Action. Interact action. Manipulate or move. [00:14:26] Speaker B: Make a ranged attack or leave the square during a move action. And cheating. [00:14:30] Speaker A: Yeah. So it can dry its weapon. It swings at Saraya with a 37. [00:14:36] Speaker D: That will hit, but it will not crit. [00:14:38] Speaker A: Right. For 16 points of damage, I also. [00:14:43] Speaker C: Throw up my shield. [00:14:45] Speaker A: Oh, liberate. Which removes 13. [00:14:50] Speaker C: Sure, I'll liberate. So, yes, 13. [00:14:52] Speaker A: Okay, sorry, I forgot you can do both. So 13 -16 is three. The Saraya, you take three points of demol. [00:15:00] Speaker D: She laughs. [00:15:01] Speaker A: That's it for my turn. Twintellon, it is your turn. [00:15:05] Speaker B: Okay, so the one in between Saraya and Twintalon is ripe for the stabbing, I believe. It's a saying that people use normal, everyday people. [00:15:16] Speaker A: I've heard that saying use before. [00:15:20] Speaker B: That's a 25 versus their flat footed ac. [00:15:24] Speaker A: That will miss. [00:15:25] Speaker B: All right, then I'd like to use my her point. [00:15:28] Speaker A: Okay, hero point. [00:15:30] Speaker B: So I'm going to use my hero point to reroll that. [00:15:32] Speaker A: All right. Delicious, delicious hero point. [00:15:38] Speaker B: 32 in a row. [00:15:40] Speaker A: Yeah, that'll hit. [00:15:41] Speaker B: Okay, clerks. Okay. And I tagged it with my extra two d six. [00:15:48] Speaker A: Yep, yep, you did. [00:15:50] Speaker B: So there's the extra one of that. But that's 38 damage. [00:15:56] Speaker A: Okay, so hang on. I gotta do math. Give me a second. Calm down, Matthew. [00:16:03] Speaker B: I'm not upset. I'm not uncomfortable doing math. [00:16:07] Speaker D: His feathers are unruffled. His Jimmy's are unruffled. [00:16:11] Speaker A: He is calm. All right. Damage goes through. [00:16:15] Speaker C: Okay, liberate. Wait, no, no, no. Yeah, yeah. [00:16:20] Speaker A: Liberate, liberate. All right, it is now your second action. [00:16:25] Speaker B: So I'm going to do it again. That is a natural 20. [00:16:29] Speaker A: Oh, heck yeah. I just realized something. That if they do, if they survive for another round. Fun. But that is a critical hit. [00:16:39] Speaker C: Come on. Don't survive another round. [00:16:43] Speaker B: Chipped bone. The target is clumsy. One until healed. In addition to the damage. [00:16:51] Speaker A: Clumsy. Dex. [00:16:52] Speaker B: Anything that's Dex based, I believe it's minus one. Like AC, for instance, or reflex saves. [00:16:58] Speaker F: Yep. [00:16:58] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:16:59] Speaker B: Okay, so that is 39 damage. Times two is 78 damage. [00:17:09] Speaker A: Oh, my goodness. Okay. [00:17:11] Speaker B: Oh, my goombas. I think what you just said. What? Mushrooms. [00:17:15] Speaker A: Ow. Ow. Okay. Still alive. [00:17:19] Speaker B: Not thrilled with that. I would like to make a. What the fuck is this? Check. What. What religion? Thank you. Are you dying? Did I kill you? Almost. [00:17:30] Speaker A: I got. I got some hit points left. Not many. [00:17:33] Speaker B: That's a 35. [00:17:34] Speaker A: That is a critical success because that is a natural 20. So you can ask me, uh, what is that you beat it by? Oh, you critted. So you can ask me five questions. [00:17:46] Speaker B: Great. What are their weaknesses? And also, what. What's their name? What creature is this? [00:17:50] Speaker A: So these are Raja Rakshasas, exactly like you thought they were last episode. So now you get a hero point. So the one you spent comes back and you can keep this one between episodes. [00:18:03] Speaker B: Nice. [00:18:04] Speaker A: They are a lawful evil medium fiend rakshasas. They are creature level ten. So, the first thing you asked was weakness. Yeah. [00:18:11] Speaker B: What are the weaknesses? Do they have any weaknesses? [00:18:13] Speaker A: They are weak to good ten. [00:18:16] Speaker B: Okay. What are their resistances? [00:18:20] Speaker A: Physical ten. Except for piercing. [00:18:23] Speaker B: All of my damage is piercing damage. You realize that, right? [00:18:26] Speaker A: Is it? [00:18:26] Speaker B: Yes. [00:18:28] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:18:28] Speaker B: I don't know why it says that, but I have short swords all the time. Pierce, Pierce, Pierce. [00:18:32] Speaker A: Okay, well, I will give them more damage. [00:18:34] Speaker B: Okay. Is he still alive then? [00:18:37] Speaker A: Yes, but barely. [00:18:38] Speaker D: He's still alive, but he's barely breathing. [00:18:40] Speaker A: Yes, you may ask three more. [00:18:44] Speaker B: Okay, so they are weak to good. They're resistant to everything except for piercing. What are their special attacks? [00:18:53] Speaker A: Okay. They have a reaction called scoff at the divine. A creature that is within 30ft casts a divine spell or uses a divine ability. If I have an unexpended spell slot that can be used to cast dispel magic, I. That's a requirement. And the effect is the rakshasa expends a spell slot and attempts to counter the triggering spell or ability. After that, I can't scuff at the divine for one d four rounds. I then can also have the ability to change shape and the ability to put out disturbing visions, which is what I did. The biggest thing is, it's a 30 foot emanation. And all evil creatures in the area get a one status bonus to all checks, attacks and saves. And it will only last for one d four rounds. [00:19:47] Speaker B: Okay, those three questions, how many hit points do they have? [00:19:50] Speaker A: They start at 155 hit points, and. [00:19:54] Speaker B: I've done over 100 to that one. Surya? Well, not sure how much of it went through that she punched but didn't cause. [00:20:01] Speaker D: It was only seven damage. [00:20:03] Speaker A: I will tell you, the one between you two has twelve left. [00:20:06] Speaker B: Too many. [00:20:07] Speaker D: If no one else takes it out, I will next turn. [00:20:09] Speaker B: Okay, good. [00:20:11] Speaker A: You have one more question. [00:20:13] Speaker B: What is their worst save? [00:20:15] Speaker A: Their worst save is will, but against all magic, they get a plus two or a plus three if it's divine magic. [00:20:26] Speaker B: Okay, so we can save his will, but they get a bonus to save versus magic. [00:20:30] Speaker A: Yeah. To all saves versus magic. And I'll let you know that these are named creatures. [00:20:36] Speaker B: Okay, I think that's it. So I'll twin talent call out. They're weak against good, tough against everything except for piercing and knife sword. They're weak against trying to think how to say in character their will save is their weakest. They're weak willed, but have some resistances to magic, especially divine magic. He'll look at Brianna. [00:20:57] Speaker C: I don't know what that is. [00:20:59] Speaker B: All your magic. [00:21:00] Speaker A: Okay, so it is now my turn, and I am going to try and. [00:21:10] Speaker B: Cast a spell, like with your hands. [00:21:13] Speaker A: I'm looking at what it has. Give me a second. I just lost it. There it is. [00:21:19] Speaker B: Well, I mean. Well, Brianna already used her attack opportunity to. Or her reaction or. No, no, she did. For to help somebody. [00:21:27] Speaker C: Right. [00:21:28] Speaker A: Me. Material and somatic. So creature that is in front of Brianna cast a spell. [00:21:36] Speaker C: Does that provoke an attack of opportunity? [00:21:38] Speaker B: If you had a reaction, it would. [00:21:39] Speaker F: Yeah, but it doesn't work for me. [00:21:41] Speaker B: You are too far away, unfortunately. [00:21:43] Speaker A: So, uh, the creature directly in front of you, Rihanna, disappears. [00:21:50] Speaker C: This is very boring. I already have one friend who does weird things with. With sneaky things. I don't need more. [00:21:57] Speaker A: You know when you have a spellcaster and you forget that they're a spellcaster? That's what I initially did. All right, so that's my turn. Ooh, it is your turn. [00:22:09] Speaker F: All right, so, dumb question. My plus one striking fearsome longsword is piercing or not? It doesn't say anything in the description. [00:22:23] Speaker B: It's. It's slashing. [00:22:25] Speaker F: That is slashing. [00:22:26] Speaker B: If you look at the damage type, it should say slashing like one d eight slashing damage. [00:22:31] Speaker F: Okay. [00:22:32] Speaker B: Unless it has versatile p. If it has versatile p, then you can change it to be piercing it is. [00:22:37] Speaker A: It's one d eight slashing versatile p. Versatile piercing. [00:22:41] Speaker F: So that would still count. [00:22:43] Speaker B: Then you can declare it's piercing. And then it is. [00:22:46] Speaker F: I declare that it's piercing. All right. Okay. I appreciate you. Thank you so much. [00:22:51] Speaker B: Mm hmm. [00:22:52] Speaker A: Ooh. [00:22:52] Speaker F: Says you're not so hot anymore. I don't like what you're doing. And then she strides over, and she takes out her sword, and then she slashes at him. [00:23:09] Speaker A: All right, make your attack roll 34. That's a hit. [00:23:15] Speaker F: The merch 1414. [00:23:20] Speaker A: All goes through. And you killed kill. [00:23:23] Speaker C: Nice. [00:23:24] Speaker A: Whoa. [00:23:25] Speaker B: Very nice. [00:23:26] Speaker F: Dead dims was baddies, and I didn't know. Sorry, guys. [00:23:30] Speaker C: That's okay. [00:23:31] Speaker B: All right, still one that's invisible here, I assume. Invisible, not teleported, but we'll see. [00:23:37] Speaker A: Combat is still going on. So it is now. Knife, swords, turn. [00:23:41] Speaker E: All right, will. Huh? Well, why not? [00:23:46] Speaker C: Oh, no. [00:23:48] Speaker E: I'm going to say hold on to something. [00:23:53] Speaker D: I knew it. [00:23:54] Speaker E: And I'm gonna just cast zero gravity in the room. [00:23:59] Speaker A: Okay, what does that spell actually do? [00:24:03] Speaker E: It creates a 20 foot radius, 40 foot cylinder, and I negate gravity's effects in the area. Creatures float in place unless they can push off of a surface. Pushing off is a single action which has the movement trait, allowing the creature to move at half its speed in a straight line through the area. After pushing off a surface, the creature continues to move in the same direction at the start of each of its turns until it leaves the area or pushes off against something else. A creature pushing off against an untethered object of its size or smaller causes both the creature and the object to move at the same speed, but in opposite directions. Creatures who can levitate or fly can use those abilities to move around the area without having to push off anything. Creatures who cant levitate or fly are usually on the ground, giving them a surface switch to push off. When zero gravity ends, all creatures and objects in the area fall back down. [00:24:46] Speaker A: Okay, so where would you like to put that 20 foot radius? [00:24:50] Speaker E: Right there. [00:24:51] Speaker A: Oh, geez. Okay. [00:24:53] Speaker D: Oh, dear. [00:24:53] Speaker A: So everyone is now in zero g's. Oh, geez. [00:24:59] Speaker B: Oh, geez indeed. [00:25:03] Speaker A: The body that's on the ground starts to float up, but other than that, that's all you see. [00:25:09] Speaker E: And that was three actions, so. [00:25:11] Speaker A: All right, Saraya, can I make a seek action? Okay. [00:25:16] Speaker D: I'm hoping to see if maybe, or like to listen to see if there's, like, any panic. Like what? Or if, like, furniture is bumping off things that we can't see. [00:25:25] Speaker A: Okay, give me a perception. Okay, I will say you hear some bumping from the. From the north. You don't know exactly which area, but it's definitely coming from the north. [00:25:39] Speaker D: Okay. From, like, over, like directly north of me. [00:25:43] Speaker A: Like in that area? Yeah, over here. [00:25:46] Speaker D: Okay, I'm going to kind of. I got to target this square right in front of me and try to do the 15 foot cone into the corner with. [00:25:56] Speaker A: Okay. [00:25:57] Speaker D: With an alignment ampule. [00:25:58] Speaker A: Okay. So it goes 15ft. [00:26:02] Speaker D: I mean, I'm aiming for the square, which is a 25. So 25 to hit. [00:26:06] Speaker A: Yep. It hits the square. So it does too. [00:26:10] Speaker D: Good splash in that entire area. [00:26:13] Speaker A: Okay. Which will work. [00:26:16] Speaker D: If it hits the guy, he takes all the good damage. If he has any weaknesses to it, ten. Alrighty. So he takes some damage. Any. Anything that would give away his position or their position. [00:26:26] Speaker A: Nope. [00:26:27] Speaker D: Okay, well, that was it. I had to seek, I had to make the bomb, and I had to throw it. [00:26:32] Speaker A: All right, then it is Brianna's turn. [00:26:37] Speaker C: All right. [00:26:40] Speaker E: Indeed has. [00:26:42] Speaker C: Yeah. What is, like, mechanically understand that we're in a gravity well. Is that correct? [00:26:51] Speaker A: I. [00:26:52] Speaker E: Zero gravity. Yeah. [00:26:53] Speaker C: Okay. So we're just floating around the room is what you're saying? [00:26:56] Speaker E: Totally. You're still standing where you were because you started out on the floor. But if you push any pressure down onto the floor, like trying to take a step, it's gonna push you up in the air. [00:27:05] Speaker C: Okay. This sounds like it could be potentially a very cool thing. And he is not. The creature has not been identified where they are. [00:27:14] Speaker A: Correct. [00:27:16] Speaker C: Cool. Brianna will also attempt to seek them out if at all possible. [00:27:20] Speaker E: Yes, I just like. [00:27:21] Speaker A: Absolutely. [00:27:22] Speaker E: I would like to point out that all objects have no weight as well, like furniture. [00:27:28] Speaker C: But they all also start on the ground, don't they? [00:27:31] Speaker D: Mm hmm. Yeah. [00:27:32] Speaker A: Yep. [00:27:32] Speaker D: And if you try to shove it, you're gonna go flying backwards in the opposite direction. [00:27:36] Speaker A: Yeah, you go in the opposite direction. [00:27:38] Speaker E: That's it. Yeah. [00:27:39] Speaker D: That's called ejection mass. [00:27:40] Speaker A: But yes, you can attempt to seek. Hiya. Go ahead and give me a perception check. [00:27:47] Speaker C: I was a 30. [00:27:48] Speaker A: Oh, boy. That is a success. So if they are hidden. No, I'm still learning the steps for these. Matt, I'm assuming you know them because you're a rogue. Rogue. [00:28:03] Speaker B: You know, you'd think so, but every time I read it, I'm confused. [00:28:07] Speaker A: Okay, so current. So the speech that I cast makes the creature undetected to all creatures. Which means if you are undetected and you are, you beat this perception, you beat their stealth, DC they become hidden, which means when they're hidden, you can make an attack to know where they are. Or you make an attack. Or if you make an attack, you have to make a DC eleven flat check to hit them. [00:28:40] Speaker C: Okay. Do I do the roll, the flat check first, or should I attack first? [00:28:45] Speaker A: You declare your attack. You know that they are to your north. They are not directly next to you. [00:28:51] Speaker B: Okay, but she knows what square they're in. [00:28:54] Speaker A: If I. Oh, yeah. So I'm gonna ping. What square? [00:28:56] Speaker B: There you go. [00:28:57] Speaker A: Sorry. They're there. [00:28:58] Speaker C: Okay. So I will point out the square I believe they are in. [00:29:04] Speaker A: Okay. [00:29:05] Speaker C: And I wish to cast divine Lance. Okay, now here's a question. How does magic work through zero gravity? [00:29:15] Speaker B: I don't think it has any mass, so I don't think it'll matter. [00:29:18] Speaker A: Yeah, I think it doesn't matter. You will not be blasted against the wall. Although that's a funny. You critically fail. You're going to go the opposite wall. [00:29:30] Speaker C: 35. [00:29:31] Speaker A: That is a hit. [00:29:32] Speaker B: But you still have to roll your flat check. [00:29:35] Speaker A: Flat check? Yeah. Just a 20. [00:29:37] Speaker C: I miss it. [00:29:38] Speaker A: You miss. [00:29:39] Speaker C: But do I have a hero point? [00:29:40] Speaker A: You do. [00:29:41] Speaker C: And this is. And may I reroll? [00:29:43] Speaker A: You may. [00:29:44] Speaker C: Come on now. Oh, how's a nat fucking 20? [00:29:50] Speaker A: Oh, that means you hit. Yeah. [00:29:53] Speaker B: Point back. [00:29:54] Speaker A: And I'm. I was actually gonna say, you know what, because you did, I'm gonna give you back your hero point. [00:29:59] Speaker C: Thank you. [00:30:00] Speaker A: Also, I think that's, like, one of the first time a divine lance has actually hit someone. [00:30:04] Speaker B: Yeah. I think we should retire in this game. [00:30:07] Speaker C: Temma, this is for you. That is 19 points of damage. [00:30:15] Speaker A: And this is divine or good damp. [00:30:20] Speaker C: You choose the alignment of your deity. [00:30:22] Speaker A: Oh, so it is good damage. [00:30:24] Speaker C: Correct. [00:30:24] Speaker A: So that means you do another ten. [00:30:27] Speaker F: Correct. [00:30:27] Speaker A: Because it's. I thought it's weak. It's weak to good. [00:30:30] Speaker C: Oh. An additional ten as well as you do. [00:30:33] Speaker A: An additional ten. [00:30:33] Speaker C: Understood. [00:30:34] Speaker A: You did 29. [00:30:36] Speaker C: I misheard you or misunderstood you. [00:30:38] Speaker A: I'm still. I understand. I'm still in shock that the divine lands hit as well. So you see, you seeked, sooked and sot. [00:30:49] Speaker B: Good job. [00:30:50] Speaker A: Don't call me Asat. And then you, divine Lance, which is two actions, so that's your turn, yeah. [00:30:58] Speaker C: Yes, I believe so. [00:30:59] Speaker A: All right. Twin Talon. [00:31:01] Speaker B: So is azot like a german thought? [00:31:03] Speaker A: Yes. [00:31:04] Speaker B: Like zaat ho of a? No. Okay, I'm gonna go. [00:31:08] Speaker D: I guess that would be a. That would be. I feel like a shot. [00:31:12] Speaker E: What are you thinking about? [00:31:19] Speaker B: All right, so I know where the splashy divine damage went. [00:31:24] Speaker A: It outlined the creature as it hit. [00:31:27] Speaker B: Tintana is going to pull himself along the floor. [00:31:30] Speaker A: Okay. [00:31:31] Speaker B: Is there anything with sword? Is there anything with this zero gravity as far as, like, speed change? [00:31:38] Speaker D: I think it said half your speed in a straight line when you move. [00:31:41] Speaker E: Just pull that up again. 1 second. [00:31:43] Speaker B: Pushing off, the creature continues to move. [00:31:45] Speaker E: Okay. Yeah. Move at the same speed if they're the same size. Doesn't really say. I mean, there's like no friction on you except for wind. So it'd be like beyond ice, maybe? [00:31:59] Speaker A: Yeah. I think you can ice skate across. I think this is supposed to replicate the. And kind of try and replicate the star finder, like, low gravity stuff. [00:32:09] Speaker B: It says pushing off is a single action, which has to trade a lot of the creatures half its speed in a straight line through the area. After pushing off a surface creature, he has to move at the same distance at the start of each of its turns until it leaves the area or pushes off against something. Creature pushing off against an untethered object causes both the creature and the object move the same speed, but in opposite directions. [00:32:27] Speaker A: So if you were to push off at an angle, your speed is what, 30? So you would move 15ft. [00:32:34] Speaker E: How high is the ceiling? [00:32:36] Speaker A: This room is 10ft tall. [00:32:39] Speaker E: Okay, so I mean, theoretically, you could push off at an angle towards the ceiling and like, hit the ceiling and then angle push off at an angle straight down on him. Like a 45 come at him from the top. [00:32:50] Speaker A: Yes. But if, if you push off your next turn, you would continue to move without it costing an action until you hit the door. It's how I read that. [00:33:00] Speaker B: So I think that Twintelt, you push off, so he starts moving in the direction of this creature. So I guess he moves 15ft to the north. So that's one action. Yeah. I don't really have another action, I guess. Cause I could push off again and get next to it, but then I'd have to find it as another action. [00:33:19] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:33:20] Speaker B: So I guess he'll do the seeking just to see if you can find it. [00:33:25] Speaker A: Okay. [00:33:26] Speaker B: Actually, I do get a plus two to this, but I clicked roll before I realized it. [00:33:30] Speaker A: That's fine. So that's a 39. That is, the creature is directly to your northwest. So the square. [00:33:40] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, I see where you put the token on there. Yeah, he's just, I mean, battalion doesn't know where it is, so he's, he's looking for it. And I guess there's really nothing else to do with his last action. Took a lot of time to do nothing. All right, who's next? [00:33:52] Speaker A: All right, well, it's my turn, my turn, my turn. Yay. Yay. [00:33:59] Speaker E: Welcome to the knife sword weight loss program. [00:34:02] Speaker A: Um, I have so many options. It's just so, so much stuff. You know, we're getting to the level where things get complicated. Okay, I'm going to cast a spell, and it's gonna be at. Ooh. [00:34:19] Speaker B: That's her name. [00:34:19] Speaker E: Don't worry. [00:34:20] Speaker A: Now, uh, yeah. We're gonna do a 15 foot burst within 120ft. Oh, perfect. And it's gonna go right in front of. Ooh. Who is behind one of the couches. [00:34:36] Speaker D: Oh, boy. [00:34:37] Speaker A: And I need everybody to pick either a reflex save or a will save. It literally says target's choice. [00:34:47] Speaker B: Oh, that's no choice at all. [00:34:49] Speaker C: Okay, right, well, for you. Yeah. Are you sure? Not fortitude. [00:34:54] Speaker A: I'm sure. [00:34:54] Speaker C: Damn it. [00:34:55] Speaker D: Yeah, let's get that going. [00:34:58] Speaker A: Okay, Christine, what did you get? [00:35:00] Speaker D: 22. [00:35:01] Speaker A: 22 is a save, not a critical. [00:35:07] Speaker D: It's fine. I'll take it. [00:35:08] Speaker A: All right. Hiya. What did you get? [00:35:10] Speaker C: I got. Or Branna got a 28. [00:35:14] Speaker A: That is a regular success. Success. Next is Heidi. What did oo get? [00:35:19] Speaker F: Ooh, got 23. [00:35:21] Speaker A: That, alas, is a pass. All right, Matt, what did twin Talon. [00:35:31] Speaker B: Get on the reflex save? Twintalon rolled a 20 for a 43. [00:35:37] Speaker A: Rob, what did you get? [00:35:38] Speaker E: I got a 33. [00:35:40] Speaker A: Okay, that is a critical success. So everybody but twin Talon and knife sword are taking half damage as quasi real substance of the shadow plane. Blast into the area and shoot all around. [00:35:59] Speaker D: What? [00:36:00] Speaker F: Shoots on me? [00:36:01] Speaker B: Yeah, he blasted all over you. [00:36:03] Speaker A: Yep. 30. So full damage would be 30. However, you're all taking half, so. [00:36:09] Speaker C: Okay. Okay. Can I do some. Some helping of my friends? [00:36:16] Speaker A: Yes. So you can either. All right, so you can either shield block for Saraya and liberating step either ooh or knife sword. [00:36:28] Speaker B: That's where critically succeeded. He's fine. [00:36:30] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. So you could do. Ooh, you can liberate step. Ooh. And shield block for Saraya. [00:36:37] Speaker C: Not in the same attack, though. But within the same round. Correct. [00:36:41] Speaker A: Within the same round. [00:36:42] Speaker B: I think you could do it against on this attack because it's different. [00:36:45] Speaker A: You have two reactions. [00:36:46] Speaker B: You could take them both. [00:36:47] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:36:48] Speaker C: So, okay, so then I would very much like to be able to do that. Both liberate. [00:36:54] Speaker A: Ooh. [00:36:55] Speaker C: And shield block, Surrey. [00:36:57] Speaker A: Okay, so your liberating step is 13 points, which means. Ooh. Takes a whopping two points from that. [00:37:04] Speaker B: That's good, because she's frail and has no hit points. [00:37:07] Speaker A: Your shield. Your shield has 24 points of hit points. Its hardness is six, which takes the 15 down to nine. Nine. So your shield. Oh, hold on. With your shield, you can choose to break off spikes. You can choose to break off two spikes to reduce it to zero damage. [00:37:36] Speaker B: And how many spikes? How many damage per spikes? It's six per spike. [00:37:39] Speaker A: Three per spike. Is it six or three? If it's six, it's only one. Okay, so one spine can snap off to six damage. That's way better than I remembered. So 15 points of damage minus the hardness, which is. Edit hardness is six. So 15 minus six is nine. Is nine. And then you can snap. [00:38:05] Speaker D: It'll take it down to three. Honestly, though, I can take. I can take nine. I'll be fine. [00:38:10] Speaker A: It's not you. It's taking nine. It goes to. [00:38:13] Speaker E: I thought I was getting. [00:38:14] Speaker D: Oh, so we're talking about Brianna defending herself. [00:38:16] Speaker A: No, this is Brianna defending you. Right, because she puts it in front of you. The rest of the damage gets sent between, gets put onto the shield and to the wielder and myself. [00:38:28] Speaker D: Oh, so I just don't take any crisperators. [00:38:30] Speaker A: No. [00:38:31] Speaker D: Oh, damn. [00:38:31] Speaker C: No, I take it for you. [00:38:33] Speaker A: So how many spikes would you like to snap off? [00:38:36] Speaker C: So what I was gonna ask is, I don't think we've had a chance to regrow them since the last time I used that. I think it was against the Golem, is that correct? In my. [00:38:47] Speaker A: Yes. [00:38:48] Speaker C: Recollection, so. And I think I used all of them. [00:38:52] Speaker A: If memory did use all of them. So, okay, so you have no spikes to snap off. So you're gonna take nine and the shield's gonna take. [00:38:59] Speaker C: Not correct. [00:39:00] Speaker A: Leaves your. [00:39:01] Speaker B: No. Surrey takes nine and the shield takes nine. [00:39:03] Speaker C: No. Doesn't it go to the wielder? I take the damage for her. [00:39:07] Speaker B: Basically, you give them the shield block action, but use your shield. I don't think you take the shield. You don't take the damage for them, but you can block them from damage. [00:39:15] Speaker A: All right, well, we'll look at that. But there's. There's nine points of damage. Okay, that leaves 15 for the shield on the hit points. And now it is you and Brianna is taking all 15, which again, okay, so that was two actions, and now I'm no longer invisible. And this one is going to draw its Kukri. Yeah, that's the end of its turn. Ooh. [00:39:46] Speaker F: I don't know what to do. [00:39:48] Speaker A: Um, you can push off the ground and move half your speed. [00:39:56] Speaker F: I feel like this would be, like, very new for. Ooh. And I. And, like, I just imagine her just being really confused, much like I'm confused. [00:40:06] Speaker A: You can end right in front of Matt. [00:40:08] Speaker F: Yeah, I guess I could. Can I push off of a person. [00:40:14] Speaker B: And they would go flying the opposite direction. [00:40:18] Speaker A: They go in the opposite direction. [00:40:19] Speaker F: Wait a minute. Matt, do you want to go flying in the opposite direction? [00:40:24] Speaker B: I'm north of you, aren't I? [00:40:26] Speaker F: You are. But if I push off to you, I guess I could push off the couch. And they are invisible, so I'd have to seek them first. [00:40:36] Speaker B: They're not visible anymore. [00:40:38] Speaker A: They're. No. [00:40:38] Speaker F: Oh, my mistake. I'm sorry. Well, I think I'm gonna try and do the two two action. I'm gonna try and push off the couch and attack. Swing to attack. All right, that would bring me to just about there. [00:40:55] Speaker A: Yep, that works. [00:40:55] Speaker F: But the couch is flying now, which means. [00:40:59] Speaker A: Yes. The couch goes back towards Brianna and Saraya. [00:41:05] Speaker D: Yeah, I don't know. [00:41:07] Speaker F: Well, I'll take a swing. Let's go, kids. [00:41:10] Speaker A: Well, make your attack. Roll at the creature. [00:41:15] Speaker F: 35 to hit. [00:41:17] Speaker A: That's ridiculous. Yeah, that's a hit. [00:41:21] Speaker F: Dimarsh 14. [00:41:23] Speaker A: All right, all of it goes through knife, sword. What chaos would you like to put into the room now? [00:41:30] Speaker E: All right, where is everybody? Same place. Oh, okay. [00:41:33] Speaker A: Yep. All right, well, first, if you want to keep the gravity thing, you have to concentrate. [00:41:39] Speaker E: Right. Does it end at the beginning of my turn or the end of my turn if I don't concentrate? [00:41:43] Speaker A: Beginning of your turn, I believe. [00:41:45] Speaker E: Okay. Does it? Well, I don't know. I don't think. I think it served its purpose. Well, now that I can see him, I'll put the phantasma killer on him. [00:41:54] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah, dropping that invisibility was a rough decision. [00:41:59] Speaker E: I gotta find phantasma killer on my spellbook. [00:42:02] Speaker A: Well, if you didn't have so many gosh darn spells and then multiclass. Well, not multi class, but take a dedication into. Into another caster spell. [00:42:12] Speaker E: Hey, I was gonna. I was gonna multiclass, and that was gonna mean I wouldn't be able to get the zero gravity. But then you said we could use these archetypes, and I was like, oh, look, wizard spells. So. [00:42:23] Speaker A: Okay, so is that that phantasmal killer? [00:42:27] Speaker E: Yes, phantasmal killer. He's got to do a will save versus me. [00:42:33] Speaker A: Okay, will save. [00:42:36] Speaker E: Let me make sure that's a will save. Yeah, will first. It's a will. DC 30. Will save. [00:42:42] Speaker A: Okay. Natural one. That's a critical failure. [00:42:49] Speaker B: Does he get to die? [00:42:51] Speaker E: The target is so afraid it might die, it must attempt a fortitude save. If the target fails, it dies on a successful fortitude save the target takes twelve D six metal damage and is fleeing until the end of its next turn. And it is frightened four. This effect has the incapacitation trait. So gotta take your. Your fortitude, which I. Alright, and what do I. [00:43:15] Speaker A: What am I trying to hit on? My fortitude? [00:43:17] Speaker E: I'm guessing it's 30. Because that's what everything else is. [00:43:19] Speaker A: Yeah, that would be what it is. I will let you know that I have a very low chance of succeeding at this. 16. [00:43:28] Speaker E: Nope. He just falls over dead. [00:43:30] Speaker D: Is that another crit fail? Because the target is 30? [00:43:34] Speaker A: Jeez. Well, combat's over. So there's that. [00:43:43] Speaker E: Would he have survived the twelve D six anyway? [00:43:46] Speaker A: No. Would you like to? Yes. All right, so that's combat. [00:43:52] Speaker C: Is anybody badly hurt? [00:43:54] Speaker F: It's just a flesh wound. [00:43:56] Speaker D: Shall we explore these other rooms? It looks like there's a bedroom behind us. [00:44:00] Speaker C: Sure. If everybody is sure you do not want some healing, then let us press on. Certainly. [00:44:07] Speaker B: If we have ten minutes to apply some healing to me, I would appreciate it. If not. We got to go then. We got to go. I'm not going to keel over. [00:44:15] Speaker F: Do we want to check these bodies? [00:44:17] Speaker B: Yes, absolutely. [00:44:19] Speaker A: Well do remember that there is at least one other place you wanted. [00:44:24] Speaker B: The school for wayward girls or whatever. [00:44:26] Speaker A: Yeah, you are working on a bit of a time limit. Now that's not saying you have to go right the second, but just reminding you. But it's ten minutes by the way. That's what they looked like. [00:44:36] Speaker B: Oh, so fancy. They look like chonky cats. [00:44:39] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:44:41] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:44:41] Speaker A: Hey, there's nothing wrong with a chunky cat. [00:44:43] Speaker C: He's just fluffy. [00:44:45] Speaker E: Okay, that's a cat genius that has. [00:44:47] Speaker D: Not had to hunt something in the past couple decades. [00:44:51] Speaker A: Yeah, right. So let's go down the list here in the next ten minutes. Saraya, what would you like to do? [00:44:57] Speaker D: I'm going to be exploring the other rooms. [00:45:00] Speaker A: Okay. Which room would you like to go to first? [00:45:02] Speaker D: The south room. That appears to be kind of a bedroom. [00:45:05] Speaker A: Okay, you move there. Great. We'll talk about that in a second. Haya, what will you be doing in the next ten minutes? [00:45:12] Speaker C: Since my friend has asked for healing, I will go ahead and heal. [00:45:17] Speaker A: Okay. Make a heel check for me and then we'll come back and check on you. Ooh, what would you like to do in the next ten? [00:45:27] Speaker F: Would like to be digging through some fancy cats pockets and see what there is to see. [00:45:35] Speaker A: Okay. Twin talon. [00:45:37] Speaker B: I'm being healed? I believe so. I'm not gonna run from her as she's doing that. [00:45:42] Speaker A: I mean, you have ten minutes. No, no, no. [00:45:48] Speaker B: Lifting with its pockets while she's healing me. [00:45:51] Speaker A: Yeah, there's one right at your feet. Actually, there's a. Rob, what are you doing? [00:45:55] Speaker E: I'm gonna plop into one of these overstuffed chairs here and start munching on the beans that I've liberated. [00:46:02] Speaker C: Oh, no. [00:46:04] Speaker B: Chocolate espresso beans, if that's what they are. [00:46:06] Speaker C: Oh, no. [00:46:07] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. All right. Brianna, what did you roll for your check? [00:46:11] Speaker C: 24. [00:46:12] Speaker A: 24. So that's two D, eight plus ten. Sorry? Yeah, two D, eight plus ten. [00:46:18] Speaker C: It's okay. I honestly forgot to. [00:46:21] Speaker A: Yeah. Two D, eight plus ten onto twintalon. Ooh. And twintalon. As you search their pockets, other than fancy clothes, which would probably fetch a couple silver, you find. Each of you finds a plus one striking kukri. [00:46:39] Speaker B: Nice. [00:46:39] Speaker F: Uh huh. I know what that totally is. But for the people in the audience who don't, can you tell everyone what that is? [00:46:46] Speaker B: So imagine a short sword that somebody grabbed and just, like, bent the blade 45 degrees. [00:46:52] Speaker F: Okay. [00:46:53] Speaker D: Yeah, cool things. [00:46:53] Speaker C: I'll send you a picture. [00:46:55] Speaker E: Actually, it's a little more complicated than that. [00:46:57] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. [00:47:01] Speaker C: Says the IRL blacksmith. Yep. [00:47:03] Speaker E: Yeah. The tip of the blade has more material than the middle of the blade, making it heavier, so that for cutting or hacking. Because they can also be used to go through, like, jungle or, you know, vines. [00:47:17] Speaker D: Yeah, I was gonna say, I would probably describe it a little closer, like a bent machete. But there are they also really good for, like, beheading because they're weighted and curved like that. [00:47:26] Speaker E: I could see that being possible. [00:47:28] Speaker C: They're not as long, I thought. [00:47:31] Speaker E: No, they're pretty short. But they're. [00:47:33] Speaker B: In previous editions, they've been one d four, like a dagger. In this edition, they're one d six, like a short sword. So do with that what you will. [00:47:41] Speaker A: And, Saraya, as you enter into this room, the beds in this dormitory room are all askew, and several dressers and desks lay on their sides. [00:47:54] Speaker D: So it looks like the place has been ransacked. [00:47:56] Speaker A: It looks like a bunch of things are knocked over. You heard shuffling coming from inside one of the knocked over dressers. [00:48:04] Speaker D: I will cautiously approach. [00:48:09] Speaker A: As you approach, you suddenly see combat. [00:48:16] Speaker D: You suddenly end up rolling. Initiative. [00:48:18] Speaker A: So Saraya sees what I just sent her. [00:48:24] Speaker D: Hello. Hello. [00:48:28] Speaker A: Hello. [00:48:29] Speaker D: My name is Saraya. Were you hiding from the tiger people? [00:48:34] Speaker A: Um, yes. As well as Brazali downstairs? [00:48:42] Speaker D: Yes. They're all gone now. What's your name? [00:48:44] Speaker A: Um, my name is, is I'm so distressed. I'll have to tell you next week. Oh, I hate you. Thank you for listening to the Crack Die podcast.
