[00:00:39] Speaker A: Welcome to the 73rd episode of the Cracked Die podcast. [00:00:44] Speaker B: Ray. [00:00:45] Speaker A: Hey, we're back. [00:00:46] Speaker C: You made it this far. [00:00:47] Speaker D: Are we close to the end of book two? It certainly feels like it. [00:00:50] Speaker A: I will say that when we finish in here, you are probably going to figure out that you finished book two. [00:00:57] Speaker C: Okay? We just gotta get the rest of the way through this building. [00:01:01] Speaker B: You're probably gonna figure it out. Is there a chance we won't figure it out? [00:01:06] Speaker A: I don't know. You might be like, what's more, in book two? And I'll be like, hey, we need to have a talk real quick. Book two is gonna end at some point. [00:01:15] Speaker D: No. [00:01:15] Speaker B: And then we don't take the hint and we continue to wander around the jungle. Is that what we're gonna do? [00:01:21] Speaker C: Yeah, we have to go visit every hex on the map, don't we? [00:01:24] Speaker A: Look, look, there are plenty of hexes you guys have not explored on this map yet. [00:01:30] Speaker D: Oh, boy. [00:01:31] Speaker B: Well, you know what? We're not gonna. We're gonna do this. We're gonna get the hell out of it, move on. The jungle sucks and I don't like it. [00:01:38] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah. [00:01:39] Speaker B: Everything about this place is bad, and. [00:01:41] Speaker C: You should feel that. [00:01:42] Speaker A: Why? What's wrong with it? [00:01:43] Speaker B: Well, it cost us three of our party members. And also there's a crocodile that wants to eat me, so I don't really want to be here anymore. [00:01:51] Speaker D: Did it take your hand? [00:01:52] Speaker E: Talk tick? [00:01:54] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:01:55] Speaker D: Thank you. [00:01:57] Speaker A: By the way, the name of that crocodile is sweet tooth. [00:02:01] Speaker B: Of course it is. Of course it fucking is. [00:02:04] Speaker A: Okay, so when we last left, you guys managed to convince the crocodile to leave by feeding it the boggarts that were on the roof, thanks to dark hole pulling them down into the water. You then shimmied across a rope and. And came into the fortress here. Once you came in, you saw that there was a dragon shaped statue, that when you went to investigate looking for traps, it pulled itself out and revealed that it was a golem. Thanks to quick work by knife sword casting, a cult smell. On Saraya's instructions, you managed to fell the beast. And now you are here. Here in the antechamber, the main hallway, if you will, giving you options. There are two options to the left, two options to the right. There is like a north northeast, a northeast, a southeast, and a south southeast. [00:03:00] Speaker B: There's not. It's northwest. North northwest northeast, and north northeast. Southwest, technically, is to leave, so I guess that's technically true. [00:03:09] Speaker A: Yes. And there are five doors to leave his house, so. [00:03:11] Speaker B: Man, there's so many doors. [00:03:12] Speaker A: Yeah. I got confused. [00:03:14] Speaker B: It's okay. [00:03:15] Speaker C: It's so easy to do to him. [00:03:17] Speaker E: So if the antechamber touches a chamber, the whole place blows up and we're done, right? [00:03:22] Speaker B: It's possible. We'll have to figure it out. So before we left last time, I believe that Brianna was going to lay hands on me. By me, I mean Twintelle. [00:03:32] Speaker A: Yes. We're in exploration mode. So Brianna is going to to lay on hands. Twin talon, what is Saraya going to do? [00:03:40] Speaker C: I'm not sure. [00:03:41] Speaker A: Great. [00:03:42] Speaker C: I don't know if there's a whole lot to do for ten minutes other than look around. [00:03:46] Speaker A: Okay. [00:03:47] Speaker E: I'm gonna go over the door to the chamber and try to pull it into the antechamber. [00:03:52] Speaker A: Which door are you opening? [00:03:53] Speaker C: Our point is we're not opening doors yet. [00:03:58] Speaker E: What? That was the point. We're opening doors. [00:04:01] Speaker C: No, we're waiting. [00:04:02] Speaker E: No. [00:04:02] Speaker B: Some of us get hit and need to heal. We don't hide in the back. [00:04:08] Speaker E: Just because I found a winning strategy doesn't mean that you can't do it too. [00:04:12] Speaker D: We prevent you from things running at you. [00:04:15] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:04:15] Speaker A: And twin Talon, what are you doing? [00:04:18] Speaker B: So if we're taking ten minutes, I mean, Branna thing only takes one action and I'm guessing the other ten minutes she's gonna refocus to get the focus point back. Is that what you're doing? [00:04:25] Speaker A: Yep. [00:04:26] Speaker B: Then I would like to use medicine on Brain Brianna because she is clumsy until healed, I think was what it was. [00:04:33] Speaker A: That is correct. [00:04:34] Speaker B: So even though she doesn't have any damage, at least we'll make her unclumsy. Whatever that looks like. And I get 26. So I critically succeed at healing her clumsiness. Even if she had damage, you would get some. But I don't think you've taken any damage. [00:04:47] Speaker D: I have not. [00:04:47] Speaker B: Yeah. Good old shield taking damage for you. [00:04:50] Speaker A: So Saraya, you don't notice anything in this room other than the six inch wooden spikes that are carved into the walls to resemble dragon teeth. [00:05:03] Speaker C: Interesting. [00:05:04] Speaker A: So what door are you going to? [00:05:06] Speaker B: So we start on one side and go through. I mean, normally I would start on the left, but seagal teeth is really amped to go down this hallway instead. The right hallway. So. All right, do you want to do the one at the end there or the one midway down? Seagull teeth. I'll let you choose. [00:05:23] Speaker A: Oh, Seagull teeth. What door are you opening? [00:05:26] Speaker E: This one in front of me. I'm gonna go to the one that's the middle. [00:05:31] Speaker A: All right. A pair of immense fossilized vertebrae run along the central ceiling of this room. The walls are covered with the images of huge spiny dragons ravaging jungle landscapes, burning entire cities to the ground. Sleeping mats have been placed along the walls to the south. And in there, you see two of those crocodilian looking creatures. [00:06:02] Speaker B: Those are the little humanoid guys. [00:06:04] Speaker A: Yep. [00:06:05] Speaker B: Okay, are they alive or dead or asleep or. What's going on? [00:06:09] Speaker A: Oh, they're. They're looking at you. And, oh. Dark knife sword walked in. Let's roll a nice. [00:06:13] Speaker B: Okay, cool. [00:06:14] Speaker E: Once said, not least of welcome, Robert. [00:06:19] Speaker C: I love how chaotic it is just to be around. Next sword. [00:06:24] Speaker E: I couldn't see very well. I wanted to see more. [00:06:26] Speaker A: Christine, what was your initiative? [00:06:29] Speaker C: 15. [00:06:29] Speaker A: Hiya. [00:06:30] Speaker D: Eleven. I did. I rolled a natural one. I think Brianna was just in awe of dark hole, our wizard, just kind of plopping in. [00:06:44] Speaker B: Oh, a door just walks through it. [00:06:46] Speaker C: Yep. [00:06:47] Speaker B: We're just like, what is happening right now? [00:06:50] Speaker D: Yep. [00:06:51] Speaker E: What do you guys do with doors where you're from? [00:06:53] Speaker D: We're in danger. [00:06:55] Speaker A: Matt, what did twin talon roll. [00:06:57] Speaker B: Oh, man. Twin Talon rolled a 21 also, I didn't say it, but I would like to think it's pretty standard. Standard or believable that he turned his sword back into a sword in the interim. [00:07:12] Speaker A: That's fine. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. And, Rob, what did knife sword get? [00:07:17] Speaker E: 32. [00:07:17] Speaker A: Well, that means you go first, so good luck. Go fed. Wait, why are the rest of you closing the doors and leaving? [00:07:24] Speaker D: He'll be fine. He knows what he's doing. [00:07:29] Speaker E: Let's do vomit swarm. [00:07:33] Speaker A: Right? [00:07:33] Speaker E: Blast. [00:07:34] Speaker A: Blast. So I need to make a reflex save. My reflex save is not great. 22. [00:07:41] Speaker E: Nope. [00:07:42] Speaker A: Nope. So go ahead and roll. Two D. Eight for 13 points of damage. [00:07:51] Speaker E: That's points of. Seagull raccoon damage. [00:07:54] Speaker A: Seagull raccoon damage. [00:07:56] Speaker B: Yeah, in case they have, like, vulnerabilities or resistances or something. [00:07:59] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah. And then we'll. We'll follow it up with this magic whistle. [00:08:04] Speaker A: Pew. Okay. [00:08:06] Speaker D: Oh, classic. [00:08:07] Speaker A: Another three points of damage. It is now its turn to go. And it wasn't expecting people to pop in on it or. [00:08:17] Speaker B: Or vomit a swarm of seagulls and raccoons at it. Yeah, well, I mean, that's normal, but people here. That's weird. [00:08:25] Speaker A: Yeah, that's weird. So it draws its dagger and runs forward and stabs at ye seagull teeth. Oh, this is starting off great. I rolled a natural one. [00:08:38] Speaker C: Sounds like you might have to draw a card. [00:08:40] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:08:41] Speaker D: Heck yeah. [00:08:42] Speaker A: You drop one item, you are holding funnybone so that dagger, he goes to stab down at knife sword and he just whiffs. And the dagger flies, flies and sticks into the wooden wall behind you. Twin Talon, it is now your turn. [00:08:58] Speaker B: Despite probably my better judgment, I'm gonna go in there and try to help him out. So step in the doorway and through. There we go. Now I can actually see in here, okay. And I'm adjacent to that guy. That leaves still a space for Brianna to get into the doorway. [00:09:15] Speaker D: Thank you. [00:09:16] Speaker B: And since he is adjacent to one of my friends, or I should say someone in my party, one of my allies, he's flat footed to me. [00:09:24] Speaker D: So real life friends. [00:09:26] Speaker B: Yeah, real life friends. And it's back to being a plus one. Striking, shifting, cold iron, dog slicer noise didn't roll very well. 24 against this flat footed ac. [00:09:39] Speaker A: Oh, flat footed. I'm sorry. That will hit. Okay, I'm sorry. [00:09:41] Speaker B: I don't want to use a hero point. [00:09:43] Speaker A: You all have a hero point. You hit barely. [00:09:45] Speaker D: Oh no. [00:09:47] Speaker B: So 20 damage. If he's still up, which I think they were a little tougher than that, I will hit him again. Or I'm sorry, I will attack him again. Who knows what I'll do? [00:09:57] Speaker E: He's got to have a positive mental attitude. [00:09:59] Speaker B: Ooh, natural. Nineteen's a 32. [00:10:01] Speaker A: That will hit. [00:10:02] Speaker B: Yuck. [00:10:03] Speaker A: Okay, that it's not. [00:10:04] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. He's higher than a 22 ac. It's probably got. He probably just has 24. [00:10:10] Speaker A: Look, you guys are level eight. It's time for me to take off the training wheels and you got to fight the big boys now. [00:10:18] Speaker B: Okay? Big boys and girls, 23 damage. [00:10:20] Speaker A: 23 points of damage. It's still up. [00:10:25] Speaker B: I will allow the next person they initiate to go. [00:10:27] Speaker A: So it's buddy sees what's going on and draws a blow gun then. So it's going to move for its second action and it's going to shoot the blowgun at knife sword, Darkhold. Steel Chi does a 34 hit you. [00:10:46] Speaker E: Would you believe me if I said no? [00:10:48] Speaker A: No, I wouldn't. [00:10:51] Speaker E: And you're right. Yes it does. [00:10:53] Speaker A: Does it crit you? [00:10:54] Speaker E: What was it again? [00:10:55] Speaker B: 34. [00:10:56] Speaker E: Yes, it does. [00:10:57] Speaker A: Ah, excellent. So double damage. You take 16. Non lethal damage. [00:11:06] Speaker D: Non lethal damage? [00:11:08] Speaker A: Yep, that's what it says. [00:11:09] Speaker C: Yeah, you can see blow it being non lethal. So poisoners. Ow. [00:11:13] Speaker A: All right, it is now. Saraya, you're up. [00:11:18] Speaker C: I'm gonna take out a light bomb. Cause those are fun. Actually. Have we identified these things yet? Or are we just running in and attacking? [00:11:26] Speaker B: We've seen them before. [00:11:27] Speaker A: You have not identified. [00:11:27] Speaker C: Oh, have we? [00:11:28] Speaker B: Mm hmm. [00:11:29] Speaker A: Yep. They're the alligator looking people. [00:11:31] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. Sorry. I'm reasonably sure the bloid bomb will work. [00:11:34] Speaker A: Remember, extra points if you hit knife, sword and twin Talon. [00:11:38] Speaker C: I'm going to attempt not to do that like, as best as I can. [00:11:42] Speaker B: Aren't you a bomber? Can't you choose who you hit with your splash and stuff? [00:11:45] Speaker C: Pretty much. [00:11:46] Speaker B: Okay. It's one of those things that if she hit you with a bomb, like, you know, she's bad. [00:11:50] Speaker C: Yeah. 35. [00:11:53] Speaker A: That will crit. [00:11:54] Speaker B: Ah, so close. [00:11:56] Speaker C: And I cannot exactly see the second one. But would a 15 foot cone splash hit it? [00:12:05] Speaker A: It will. It just gets, I like, throw a. [00:12:08] Speaker C: Curve ball so it takes the two poison splash. [00:12:11] Speaker B: Nice. [00:12:12] Speaker C: Okay, let me draw my card. Right, because you said it was. [00:12:15] Speaker B: Oh, it's crit. [00:12:16] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, it's a crit. [00:12:17] Speaker C: Hey, hey. I don't get to do this often, so I'm very excited. Bomb or spell, the target is dazzled until the end of my next turn. [00:12:25] Speaker B: Pretty color. [00:12:26] Speaker A: All right, so let's. A blade bomb deals two d, six poison. So that's doubled. It takes 17 times two damage. [00:12:34] Speaker C: They contain toxic volatile chemicals that rot flesh. [00:12:38] Speaker B: And in case anyone has forgotten, dazzled means that everyone is concealed from that person. [00:12:43] Speaker C: They just can't see shit. Awesome. [00:12:45] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:12:46] Speaker E: Cool. [00:12:47] Speaker C: So that was attack number one. [00:12:49] Speaker A: Oh, I'm aware. What would your second attack like to be? [00:12:53] Speaker C: Let's have some fun with fire for number two. Those are. Those are also just a whole heck of a lot of fun. [00:13:00] Speaker B: Nice. [00:13:01] Speaker C: 29 will hit beautiful for eight damage on two d. Eight plus two, a. [00:13:06] Speaker A: Five and a one. [00:13:07] Speaker C: That sucks. And I believe there is persistent on that as well. [00:13:11] Speaker A: Two persistent and two splash. [00:13:14] Speaker C: Which again, the two splash fire is going to hit the far one. [00:13:17] Speaker A: Right. [00:13:18] Speaker C: So he's taking two d, four plus two persistent damage on top of everything else that's happened. And I'm just going to move a little so I can kind of see what's going on a little better. [00:13:26] Speaker A: All right, Brianna. [00:13:28] Speaker D: Brianna's going to move in to the broom. [00:13:32] Speaker A: All right. You move into the room. [00:13:34] Speaker D: Hmm. I guess she'll just swing. [00:13:36] Speaker A: Okay. But he broke. [00:13:38] Speaker D: How's the 31? [00:13:41] Speaker A: How's it hit? [00:13:42] Speaker C: Cool. [00:13:42] Speaker D: Let's do it. Take 18 points of damage. [00:13:46] Speaker A: Describe your kill. [00:13:47] Speaker D: She's just gonna do a good old fashioned school of head slash and. Okay, you know, decapitate this, this creature like you do. [00:13:59] Speaker A: Alright, so the head falls to one side, giving you one more action this turn. [00:14:06] Speaker D: So I stepped, I slashed, and I will move in front of this buddy. And that'll be my turn. [00:14:14] Speaker B: Sounds good. [00:14:15] Speaker A: Knife. Sword. [00:14:16] Speaker E: Okay. That guy hit me. So first thing I'm gonna do is take a five foot step then. Cause that guy hit me. He's getting enervated. [00:14:26] Speaker A: Oh, jeez. Okay, I will make a fort save. [00:14:31] Speaker B: I gotta say, your spells are so weird. [00:14:33] Speaker C: I know, but they're so cool. [00:14:35] Speaker A: Oh, thank God. 32. Oh. Natural 20. [00:14:39] Speaker E: Okay. On a success, you still take two. D eight damage with persistent negative damage. [00:14:43] Speaker B: It's a critical success, though. [00:14:45] Speaker A: Oh, it is a critical success. A natural 20 I take. Nothing happens. Nothing. You lose. Good day, sir. [00:14:54] Speaker B: I said good day. [00:14:55] Speaker E: All right, I'll just come back with something worse. Something worse. [00:14:59] Speaker A: Oh, no. I take it all aback. I take it aback. It is twin Talon's turn. [00:15:05] Speaker B: Twin Talon is going to move up to this critter's side. [00:15:10] Speaker A: Yep. [00:15:11] Speaker B: Brienne is threatening it. He's threatening it. So it is flat footed to him, and he will attack it. Oh, it was a 15. That was five. So 22 to hit. [00:15:19] Speaker A: That will miss. [00:15:19] Speaker B: Even flat footed. [00:15:20] Speaker A: Minus two. Yes. It will still miss. [00:15:24] Speaker B: I'll use my hero point. [00:15:25] Speaker A: All right. [00:15:28] Speaker B: Oh, 21. Good. Hero points are the worst. [00:15:32] Speaker A: It's still a miss. [00:15:33] Speaker B: Okay, then he'll make his second attack. He'll roll his eyes and make a second attack. So for my second attack, I roll day 16, which I think is just a mess. [00:15:44] Speaker A: That is just a mess. Yes. [00:15:46] Speaker B: All right, cool. So I'll be here if anybody needs me. [00:15:52] Speaker A: Oh, don't feel bad. This creature with the blowgun will drop its blowgun, draw its dagger, and attack. Briena. [00:16:02] Speaker D: Hello. [00:16:03] Speaker A: With a natural one. [00:16:05] Speaker D: Oh, blast. [00:16:05] Speaker C: I think someone's drawn a card. [00:16:07] Speaker A: Awkward attack. I am flat footed until my next attack. [00:16:11] Speaker D: Welp, you were already flat footed, so. [00:16:16] Speaker A: I mean, yeah, I guess. But now I'm flat footed to everyone. [00:16:20] Speaker D: All right, that's fair. I'll allow it. [00:16:22] Speaker A: Second action is it will snap its jaws at twin Talon. So on the opposite side of a D 20, from a one to 20, right? [00:16:32] Speaker C: Is that what you're saying? You rolled? Are you just being a jerk about it? [00:16:35] Speaker B: Just asking questions? [00:16:36] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I rolled the natural twenties. 32. [00:16:41] Speaker B: That's a crit. [00:16:42] Speaker A: Yay. Let's get critical. Critical. Let's get 30 points of damage. [00:16:52] Speaker D: Points of damage. [00:16:53] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Thank you. And I will take my step behind him. [00:16:57] Speaker A: 20 points. [00:16:58] Speaker B: Mm hmm. [00:17:00] Speaker A: That is its turn, Saraya. [00:17:04] Speaker C: I mean, I have to, like, go in there now because I can't see anything. So my first action is gonna be to boom. [00:17:12] Speaker A: Okay. [00:17:13] Speaker C: And I'm gonna go. Is this hip bone tailbone thing on the floor? [00:17:20] Speaker A: Like, what if it's in the ceiling? No, that's the ceiling. [00:17:22] Speaker C: Okay, so I can, like, continue this way. [00:17:26] Speaker A: Boop. [00:17:27] Speaker C: And I'm gonna throw another alchemist fire. I like throwing alchemist fires. Okay, 26 will hit. [00:17:34] Speaker A: That will hit a. [00:17:36] Speaker C: Let's see how much damage you take. Damn it. I can't roll damage for shit today. Seven. Yeah. Five damage. Plus the two. Plus two persistent. Yeah. And we're gonna do another acid for attack. Two for a 27. [00:17:53] Speaker A: That will hit raw. [00:17:55] Speaker C: That will do three damage off the bat. And then ten more for the persistent when it kicks in. Okay, moves next. [00:18:02] Speaker D: Rihanna imma. Do what I do best. Let's strike. [00:18:06] Speaker A: Uh huh. [00:18:07] Speaker B: Let's do it. [00:18:09] Speaker A: 30 because it is flat footed. That'll hit. [00:18:15] Speaker D: Excellent. [00:18:15] Speaker B: Would it not hit if it wasn't flat footed? [00:18:18] Speaker A: No, it would still. I thought it was a crit, but it was not. It's very, very close. [00:18:23] Speaker E: How? [00:18:23] Speaker D: 16 points of damage. [00:18:25] Speaker A: Great. [00:18:25] Speaker B: Is it still alive? [00:18:27] Speaker A: It is. [00:18:27] Speaker B: Then I'm gonna take a reaction to stab it. [00:18:29] Speaker A: Sure, why not? [00:18:30] Speaker B: Cuz what one. One of my allies hit it. [00:18:33] Speaker C: Mm hmm. [00:18:34] Speaker B: I want to get it on it. Maybe I'll hit it this time. Yes. Okay. 1936. [00:18:40] Speaker A: That's a crit. [00:18:41] Speaker B: No, I knew some of those in my die. Okay, slashing knockback. Push the target up to 10ft. I choose 0ft because that's up to ten. [00:18:52] Speaker A: Okay. [00:18:53] Speaker B: And just do double damage instead. [00:18:54] Speaker D: I mean, I guess you could smoosh them into my shield. I don't have spikes on it, but still. [00:18:58] Speaker A: Ow. [00:18:58] Speaker B: It still would, I think would be hilarious. Just ricochet off the shield. [00:19:04] Speaker D: Just like clap them against the shield. [00:19:06] Speaker B: Yeah. So that's 34 damage. [00:19:09] Speaker D: Yikes. [00:19:10] Speaker A: Brianna, you may continue your turn as it is still alive. [00:19:14] Speaker D: I'm so sorry, but I'm a do it again. [00:19:17] Speaker A: I don't think. I think you are. [00:19:19] Speaker D: No. Are you gonna cut me off again? [00:19:21] Speaker A: No, you do. You hit. I don't think you're sorry is what I'm saying. [00:19:24] Speaker D: Oh no, I'm not sorry. [00:19:26] Speaker A: I know you're not, but you do hit. [00:19:27] Speaker D: Cool. Take 17 points of damage. [00:19:30] Speaker B: Nice. [00:19:32] Speaker A: Okay, you have one more act. [00:19:34] Speaker D: Oh, I'm so tempted. So, so tempted. [00:19:37] Speaker B: I know, right? It's so tempting. [00:19:39] Speaker D: So tempting. But I'm going to do it. Ignore Sean and raise my shield. [00:19:45] Speaker B: Yeah. Good job. Yeah. 31 ac. [00:19:51] Speaker A: Knife. Sword. It is your turn. You've just watched this. This creature get ping ponged between twin Talon and Brianna. [00:19:59] Speaker E: I'm still a little frustrated that he hit me with the blow gun and I missed. So I'm gonna put my hands up in front of my face. One hand kind of like I'm. Makes it look like I'm grabbing him, and my other hand looked like I'm grabbing his shadow, and I'm gonna tear his shadow from him. [00:20:13] Speaker A: Oh, my goodness. I'm gonna make a fortitude save. [00:20:18] Speaker B: What spell is this? [00:20:19] Speaker C: Steel shadow. [00:20:21] Speaker B: Steel shadow. Jeez. [00:20:23] Speaker A: He is 26, and a 25 will fail. Explain to me how you kill him. [00:20:30] Speaker C: Oh, my God. [00:20:31] Speaker E: So you guys just sort of see me pantomiming in the air, but from. From my perspective, I'm grabbing him and his shadow, and I'm tearing them apart, and I might have taken his leg with it. The shadow. [00:20:44] Speaker D: Oh, jeez. [00:20:45] Speaker A: All right. And combat is over. [00:20:48] Speaker D: Prina will turn around to look at her tiny goblin friend, who clearly is much more than what he seems. And she'll look kind of bewildered at him, like, what? What are you. [00:20:59] Speaker E: I'll just kind of look up. I kind of look up and shrug and go, what? [00:21:05] Speaker D: Okay, remind me not to upset you ever. And she'll start looking around the room, I guess. [00:21:14] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. We'll go back to exploration mode. What do you all want to do? [00:21:20] Speaker C: What is this boned structure? I want to investigate that. [00:21:24] Speaker A: Okay, Brianna, what is. [00:21:26] Speaker B: Or. [00:21:26] Speaker A: Hiya. What does Brianna do? [00:21:27] Speaker D: Depends. Is anybody hurt? [00:21:29] Speaker B: I am hurt. [00:21:30] Speaker D: Excellent. I will touch you. [00:21:33] Speaker B: Lay those hands on me. [00:21:35] Speaker D: Listen, twin Talon, if this is a way for me to get closer to you, you can just talk to me, ask. This is. [00:21:44] Speaker B: Let me show you where it hurts. [00:21:46] Speaker A: No, no. [00:21:48] Speaker E: I'm gonna step out of the room real quick. You guys do what you want. [00:21:53] Speaker D: She will lay on hands. [00:21:54] Speaker B: All right, thank you. Touch 24. Healing. [00:21:57] Speaker A: Okay, so, Saraya, you are investigating the bones. Brianna is laying on hands and then meditating. Twin Talon, what are you doing after. [00:22:07] Speaker B: I receive that healing? Yeah, I guess I'll just search around, see if anything interesting here for my eyeballs. It looks like it's because you said it was vertebrae, right? [00:22:15] Speaker A: Yes. [00:22:15] Speaker B: Looks like the bottom. Like. Like the floating ribs, kind of. It's below a ribcage, maybe. [00:22:20] Speaker C: Yeah, either like, tailbone or, like, very bottom of ribcage. [00:22:25] Speaker B: Yeah, because they're sweeping, like, down and then back up again. So it kind of gives that impression. But just a sec. [00:22:29] Speaker A: And then knife. Sword. What are you doing? [00:22:32] Speaker E: I'm imagining what those bones taste like. Um, I'm gonna walk up to the door at the north end of the room here. [00:22:38] Speaker A: Okay. [00:22:39] Speaker E: And I'm gonna pause. [00:22:41] Speaker B: Good job. [00:22:42] Speaker A: Okay. And you're gonna pause. All right. I. Saraya, give me. Actually, I'm going to make a secret roll for you. Secret knowledge check. [00:22:50] Speaker D: Oh my. [00:22:51] Speaker A: Because I don't want you to know what knowledge you're using, twin talon. You're just perceiving around the room. [00:23:01] Speaker B: Yes. [00:23:01] Speaker A: All right. And I'll make a secret perception check for you. [00:23:05] Speaker B: I'd like to know where this like strobe different colored lights are coming from. [00:23:09] Speaker A: Okay. [00:23:10] Speaker B: Is that real or did you just put that effect on there? [00:23:12] Speaker A: No, that's real. [00:23:13] Speaker B: What is going on? [00:23:14] Speaker A: Okay, Saraya, you know that these are the fossilized vertebrae of a dragon. [00:23:23] Speaker D: Oh boy. [00:23:23] Speaker C: How big is the smallest one? [00:23:25] Speaker A: You can tell from the anatomy with what you know about dragons and whatnot. That this is the bottom. These are the bottom ribs. [00:23:32] Speaker C: Okay, so they are the bottom ribs. Cool. How big is that smallest vertebrae at the bottom? [00:23:38] Speaker A: Is it like a five foot, um, 5ft? [00:23:42] Speaker C: Jasper is absolutely like flapping around trying to find a piece small enough to carry with him, but I don't think he can. [00:23:48] Speaker A: No. Yeah. Twin Talon. As you are investigating the room for some sort of light source, the best you can determine is that it's some sort of magics that have been cast in this room, such as dancing lights. [00:24:04] Speaker B: Okay. [00:24:05] Speaker A: You've seen dancing lights before that shimmer and shift in color and that's somehow been permanently cast here. However, as you are walking around, you notice that there are carvings on the door. [00:24:18] Speaker B: Which door? [00:24:19] Speaker A: Both sets of the doors to the north. Where right near where dark hole knife sort that there are images of dragons on them. So the size of, of the dragon that these skeleton would have come from is an immense dragon. Let's just say that it would take up this, most of this map. Okay, lovely. [00:24:45] Speaker B: All right, so what I got from that is that there are carvings of dragons on those doors. [00:24:50] Speaker A: Yes. [00:24:50] Speaker B: All right. [00:24:51] Speaker D: Onward and upward. [00:24:52] Speaker B: Yeah, I'd like to make an architecture lore check. [00:24:54] Speaker D: Yes. [00:24:56] Speaker B: To know about the architecture of this building. [00:24:59] Speaker A: Okay, go ahead and roll it. [00:25:01] Speaker B: Okay. That would be a 25 knowledge or lore architecture. [00:25:05] Speaker A: Great. All right, so you know that this is, you already know what it's made out of. The building is a 20 foot tall flat roof building. [00:25:13] Speaker B: Mm hmm. [00:25:14] Speaker A: Made out of red mud on top of a cake. Massive sleigh of grand. Okay, so the floor is granite. It is red mud walls, 20ft. And then you know that the walls are made out of hard packed clay about 3ft thick. And they're relatively easy to hack through. [00:25:36] Speaker B: Okay. [00:25:37] Speaker A: They're rough and with periodic handholds. The walls, the ceilings are about ten foot high, and you can tell that they are lit by magical pools of molten lava, smokeless braziers or dancing lights. So far as you can tell, that most of the doors have been unlocked, that the skeleton is providing good. A sturdy structure for the roof. [00:25:59] Speaker B: Oh, interesting. Okay. All right, so if we take down the skeleton, the whole place will collapse. So don't do that. [00:26:06] Speaker C: Or we set one of my firebombs with a long fuse, put the powder kegs right near the bones, and get the fuck out again. [00:26:17] Speaker D: Aren't there innocents here we're trying to save? [00:26:19] Speaker B: Okay. We don't know. [00:26:21] Speaker C: Once we found the innocence, we can collapse the whole place on its own. [00:26:24] Speaker D: Yeah, sure. I just vaguely remembered kobolds being trapped here. [00:26:30] Speaker B: Was it here? [00:26:30] Speaker C: It was at the mining camp. [00:26:31] Speaker D: Yes. [00:26:33] Speaker B: It's been a long time since we've heard about any of this stuff, so. But, yeah, we can blow that bridge up when we come to it. [00:26:41] Speaker C: See, we discussed doing these ridiculous things. Knife, sword. [00:26:47] Speaker B: Twintalum will take a position near the door with knife sword, and he'll point to the dragons carved in the door. I think this place has something to do with dragons, in case that was unclear from all the dragon pillars outside. He'll kind of shrug and he'll point to knife, sword, and he'll point to the door. He'll kind of gesture for him, like. [00:27:06] Speaker C: Is it just images on the door, or is it. Are there, like, rooms? [00:27:10] Speaker A: They're carved images. [00:27:11] Speaker B: Yeah, as far as I can tell, it's just like a bass relief kind of a thing. [00:27:14] Speaker E: So you want me to open it? Want me to open it? Should I open it? Can I open it? Do you want me to open it? [00:27:18] Speaker B: Once everybody's in position? Yes, that sounds great. Open away that now. [00:27:21] Speaker E: Is that now. [00:27:26] Speaker A: Saraya, if you would like to make a religion check or any other skill that you think might relate to dragons or daha floor. Sure. Why don't you roll that one? [00:27:35] Speaker C: Better than my religion anyway. We're at 23. [00:27:39] Speaker A: Okay. You recognize that the carvings are all images of Dahak? Yes. [00:27:47] Speaker C: All right. Well, we certainly seem to have found at least the. Possibly the center of the devotees to Dahak here. [00:27:54] Speaker B: Oh, you think so? This cult of Dahak, this is their fortress. You think this might be the center of their. Their power? [00:28:00] Speaker C: But I'm just saying this is very clearly dock on the door. So this, what, this specific room in this place may have some particular significance. [00:28:07] Speaker B: Okay. [00:28:08] Speaker E: It looks like a. Looks like a dragon to me. [00:28:10] Speaker B: Not a duck cream o observation, my friend. [00:28:16] Speaker D: Dana's gonna pick up knife sword and plop him on one of the high vertebra and then open the door. Oh, my God, that's so meandeh. [00:28:27] Speaker E: Get me down. [00:28:28] Speaker B: Get me down. [00:28:28] Speaker E: Why? [00:28:29] Speaker A: Why? [00:28:30] Speaker C: Jasper hops over to you and just, like, flaps to say hello. [00:28:34] Speaker B: It's all of your fears, birds. [00:28:41] Speaker D: I'm kidding. [00:28:42] Speaker A: I just guess I also don't think that I've described this as well as I could have. So the vertebrae is holding up the ceiling, but the ribs that come down are like. The walls are made around, like, support beams. Yeah, like, the ribs come down and actually do touch the floor, but it reaches up to the ceiling, the middle part of the spot. [00:29:01] Speaker C: So, like, we might be, like, standing right on the sternum if we go into that next room. [00:29:05] Speaker B: Yeah, maybe so. [00:29:07] Speaker A: Yes. If. If the sternum is still there, you would be standing on it. [00:29:10] Speaker C: Okay. [00:29:10] Speaker D: You had said previously to roll a religion check. [00:29:14] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:29:14] Speaker D: Is there more to, um. [00:29:17] Speaker A: No. It is images of Dahae that you can recognize, that you recognize that it's not just a generic dragon like, evil dragon destroying the jungle. It is specifically to hawk destroying the jungle. So you open the door. [00:29:33] Speaker D: I will let knife sword do it, since he's been so very eager. Yes, eager. [00:29:39] Speaker A: So, knife sword, you open the door. [00:29:42] Speaker E: I don't see anything. [00:29:44] Speaker A: As you open the door, jaws of a giant red dragon snap at you, erupting in flame. Suddenly, you are lifted up to the ceiling by seagulls snapping at your feet. I need you to make a will save. [00:30:10] Speaker E: Okay. Involuntary noxious fumes. [00:30:16] Speaker D: So here's my question. While he's rolling, what do we see? Do we just see him being lifted up? [00:30:20] Speaker A: You see him open the door. [00:30:21] Speaker D: Oh, that's it. Okay, that's it. [00:30:25] Speaker C: Gotcha. [00:30:25] Speaker A: You fail. Life sword. Would you like to use your hero point? [00:30:30] Speaker E: Yes. [00:30:31] Speaker A: Okay. Reroll, please. You still fail. [00:30:35] Speaker B: Wow. That's a 30 will save for those of you who can't see it. Good lord. [00:30:41] Speaker A: That. But you do not critically fail. So that's good. You do take eight d, six. Mental damage. [00:30:54] Speaker B: Wow. [00:30:54] Speaker A: Which is 24 points of mental damage. And you are frightened too. [00:31:01] Speaker E: Okay, can I still do, like, a test? Obnoxious vapors there. [00:31:06] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, absolutely. As you are lifted up, the seagulls keep snapping at you and bite at your feet, slowly eating them away. And then they drop you and you tumble towards the ground, landing with a sickening thud. And then you're back in this room. [00:31:26] Speaker E: I'm just screaming my head off. [00:31:27] Speaker D: What is it next? One. [00:31:31] Speaker B: Do I see anything in the room that he could be screaming about? [00:31:34] Speaker A: No, there's nothing in there. [00:31:37] Speaker B: It's okay, buddy. It's an empty room. [00:31:39] Speaker E: They ate my feet. They ate my feet. [00:31:41] Speaker D: Can I do a medicine check on him? [00:31:43] Speaker A: Yes. [00:31:44] Speaker E: Curl into a ball. [00:31:45] Speaker C: I'm gonna cautiously move forward while Brian is doing that medicine check, see if I see anything. [00:31:50] Speaker D: 25. [00:31:50] Speaker A: 25. He has definitely been hit with some sort of spell. He is physically, I mean, mentally, he's beaten up. He looks like. It looks like he's been beaten up a little bit, but other than that, there doesn't seem to be anything physically wrong with him. [00:32:05] Speaker E: Okay, so wait, you said it dropped me in the room again. Do I still see my, like, feet being gone? [00:32:11] Speaker A: No. [00:32:11] Speaker B: There. [00:32:11] Speaker A: Everything. You're back to normal. Everything is normal now. Everything is as it was before you touched the door and opened it. [00:32:18] Speaker D: Okay, but he still has like bumps and bruises. As if something did hit him. [00:32:23] Speaker A: Yes. [00:32:23] Speaker D: Okay, Brianna will take out her. Her healer's kit. Be like, it's okay. Don't. Don't worry. She'll slather on some. [00:32:30] Speaker E: Check my feet. [00:32:31] Speaker B: Check my feet. [00:32:32] Speaker D: Sure. [00:32:32] Speaker C: Okay okay okay. [00:32:33] Speaker D: Calm down. I'll check your feet. [00:32:35] Speaker C: Smell my feet. [00:32:36] Speaker A: Check my feet. [00:32:37] Speaker D: Slather on whatever ointments, make sure he's okay. And I'll do a. [00:32:43] Speaker A: Okay. [00:32:44] Speaker B: Probably moisturizer. Probably could moisturize his feet. [00:32:48] Speaker D: That was very close. [00:32:49] Speaker A: That passes. It passes with a 16. [00:32:52] Speaker D: Just barely. [00:32:53] Speaker A: So while all this is going on. [00:32:55] Speaker C: I gotta poke my head out into the hallway. [00:32:57] Speaker A: Yeah. There's nothing in there in that room. Soraya. Twin Talon. You notice that there are some faint vapors coming off of the door? [00:33:06] Speaker B: Faint vapors? Can I try to figure out what they are? [00:33:10] Speaker A: Yeah, you notice subtle vapors of magical energy seething across the door. [00:33:15] Speaker B: Oh, okay. So, okay, so Brianna, you were healing knife sword? [00:33:22] Speaker D: Yes. And he got eleven back. [00:33:24] Speaker B: Okay, cool. So that's a decent amount of what he took. Yeah, I think. I think maybe there was a trap or something on here. There's definitely residual magic coming from the door. I think we should be careful before opening doors in the future. And you'll kind of like direct that toward knife sword. [00:33:44] Speaker E: Can't hear you. I'm catatonic. [00:33:46] Speaker D: What did we learn? [00:33:49] Speaker A: Twin Talon, you can attempt to disable the trap if you'd like. [00:33:53] Speaker B: I mean, the door's already open, right? [00:33:55] Speaker A: It could reset. You don't know. It's magic. It's weird. [00:33:58] Speaker B: So I'll disable the. The trap. I'll attempt to. [00:34:01] Speaker A: Okay. [00:34:02] Speaker B: 27. [00:34:03] Speaker A: You managed to disrupt the divine magic and placate the wrathful energy. [00:34:08] Speaker B: Okay. Placate the brash flow energy. I can't tell if that's like I scream at the door or like I soothingly rub it, like. It's okay, buddy. It's okay. [00:34:16] Speaker A: Calm down. [00:34:17] Speaker C: You reassure the door. [00:34:19] Speaker B: Yeah, I think we're okay. I think we're okay. I'll rub the door on its other side. Like on its backside. It's okay, buddy. Okay, but I think this one's taken care of. With that in mind, I'm gonna go check the other door. The other northern door. [00:34:35] Speaker A: Same. Yeah. You see the same energies coming off? [00:34:40] Speaker B: Okay, I'm gonna try to disable that one too. [00:34:41] Speaker A: Okay, go ahead. [00:34:42] Speaker B: I can't fail if I don't roll a bunch of times. [00:34:44] Speaker D: Is there some form of knowledge check that could be done? Just to identify what exactly that was? [00:34:49] Speaker B: Probably Arcana or guess. Divine. If it was divine energy. [00:34:54] Speaker D: Right. [00:34:54] Speaker A: Divine or Dahak lore. [00:34:57] Speaker D: Well, I only have. I'm guessing divine meaning religion. [00:35:01] Speaker A: Yes, sorry, religion or Dehakwa Soreya, you. [00:35:04] Speaker D: Have any idea what this is? [00:35:05] Speaker C: Well, it looks like it might have something to do with our lovely draconic patron. [00:35:12] Speaker D: True, but wouldn't that be, you know, truth of everything here, since it seems to be his? [00:35:18] Speaker C: Well, yes, with a 25 to Dahaklur. [00:35:23] Speaker A: What else is significant between Brianna and Saraya? You know that this was a complex magical trap called wrath of the destroyer. When you touch the door, and also, by the way, twin talon, you manage to get rid of the trap on the other 31. When you touch the door to open it, the trap goes off. If you are not a worshiper of Daha, who, if you touch it, you're affected by it, you get hit with a fifth level phantasmal killer spell. Oh, so there was the, like, the possibility of someone dying with that. [00:35:57] Speaker B: Is that if you crit fail? Yep. [00:35:58] Speaker A: If you crit fail the first save, you then make another fortitude save. If you fail that, you die. On a successful fort save, you take twelve d, six mental damage. So, you know, great. Otherwise you just took eight d, six mental and are frightened too, for a bit. [00:36:18] Speaker B: All right, so where does that room go? Does it go anywhere? [00:36:24] Speaker A: Do you open the other door? [00:36:25] Speaker B: No, no, the first. The first door. I'm not opening another door. [00:36:28] Speaker A: The first door, it leads into another room. [00:36:31] Speaker B: Okay. Yeah, it looks like it goes to the same room as the other door. [00:36:35] Speaker C: Yeah, seems like, again, a small chamber. I just see other. Other doors. [00:36:41] Speaker B: Yeah, with more ribs. [00:36:42] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:36:43] Speaker B: So we're coming to the point that we're gonna go forward or north, I should say. The antechamber had rooms that were south of this, so I don't know if we want to double back. Before we get too deep into the heart of Dahak's temple or whatever this. [00:36:56] Speaker C: Is, it may be best to explore the perimeter before we dive into the heart of it all, so to speak. [00:37:02] Speaker B: The heart of darkness. Okay. [00:37:05] Speaker C: I'm just saying, if we're going up the ribcage. [00:37:08] Speaker B: Yeah. All right, so twin town's gonna circle back through the door that he disarmed just to make sure that there's not some weird thing. And he sees Brianna and. Nice. We're there, so good stuff. Yeah. I think we should double back and do the side rooms just to make sure. [00:37:23] Speaker D: We might as well have everything cleared and avoid being ambushed. Sorry, ambushed? Later on. [00:37:31] Speaker C: Ambushed. [00:37:33] Speaker A: You guys are doubling back. Which doors are you going to, the left or the right? [00:37:38] Speaker C: I've been on the right of everything so far. [00:37:40] Speaker B: Yeah, might as well. Okay, so you have something better judgment, but sure. Right side. [00:37:45] Speaker C: You want to check the door for traps. Do we tell it? [00:37:49] Speaker B: Yeah, I will. Once everybody gets in here. I'll check the door for traps. [00:37:53] Speaker A: So you're going to check for traps. [00:37:56] Speaker B: See? [00:37:57] Speaker A: Okay. Making that secretive roll. You're fine. [00:38:01] Speaker B: All right. Definitely trapped, but here we go. [00:38:04] Speaker A: Okay. [00:38:04] Speaker D: Do you want me to open it? [00:38:05] Speaker B: Nah, I'll open it. [00:38:06] Speaker D: Okay. [00:38:07] Speaker E: Watch out for seagulls. [00:38:08] Speaker B: I'll tell them to stop it now. Yeah. [00:38:11] Speaker D: Yes. [00:38:12] Speaker B: I see a game master inside and also a bunch of tokens. [00:38:18] Speaker D: Oh, boy. [00:38:19] Speaker A: As you open this door, you see several luxurious woven mats and blankets lying in heaps along the walls of this long chamber. You currently see six larger boggards cleaning armor and gear. You see two shurike cleaning their weapons. Do they notice they are engrossed in their armor cleaning and their weapon? [00:38:45] Speaker D: Should we throw something explosive in there? Should I cast fire, Ray? [00:38:50] Speaker B: Oh, I have a question. Can I roll a barrel? [00:38:55] Speaker A: Sure. [00:38:56] Speaker B: Okay, so twin town's gonna take one of the gunpowder barrels out, and he's gonna set it on the ground, and he's gonna be sitting there, like, rolling it back and forth with his tongue kind of sticking out the side of his mouth, and then he's gonna just run out the trajectory here, like, okay, I'm gonna get it down close, and then you hit it with fire, Ray. Okay. [00:39:16] Speaker D: Okay. I'll try my best. [00:39:18] Speaker B: Or. [00:39:19] Speaker A: So you roll it down the hallway. [00:39:22] Speaker B: Actually, that seems like a waste. Fire is really powerful. [00:39:25] Speaker A: Light it roll it. [00:39:26] Speaker C: I pull out a lesser fire. There you go. Because I can make those without reagents these days. [00:39:35] Speaker D: Let the bomber throw in the. [00:39:37] Speaker B: Throw the bomb in. Okay. [00:39:38] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:39:39] Speaker B: All right. Then Twintal will kind of look back at Saraya, wait for her to indicate that she's ready, and then he will roll the barrel down the hallway. [00:39:47] Speaker A: Okay, so the barrel rolls down the hallway. Saraya, go ahead and give me an attack roll dc ten because it's a moving target. [00:39:59] Speaker C: Well, I get a plus 15. [00:40:03] Speaker E: So a 30. [00:40:05] Speaker A: You can roll it. Yeah, you could roll a natural one, it's fine. But you don't. You hit the barrel directly and it explodes. Who wants to roll the damage? [00:40:19] Speaker C: What is the damage? [00:40:20] Speaker A: Eight D. Twelve. [00:40:26] Speaker B: All right, I'll do it. [00:40:29] Speaker C: Go ahead. This is your plan. Let's see how it goes. [00:40:33] Speaker B: I think they're gonna know her here. [00:40:37] Speaker A: 1280. [00:40:41] Speaker D: Good lord. [00:40:43] Speaker A: Okay, 80. [00:40:47] Speaker D: Damaging. [00:40:47] Speaker C: And aoe. [00:40:50] Speaker D: These poor things. [00:40:51] Speaker B: I still have another one of these at least. [00:40:55] Speaker D: I feel somewhat bad. [00:40:58] Speaker A: I don't. Can we. Can we please hold while I do some math? [00:41:03] Speaker E: Oh, no. [00:41:04] Speaker A: Can we hit that beat? Beautiful. Hold music. Thanks. [00:41:24] Speaker B: I've. I underestimated how explosive that was. [00:41:29] Speaker C: Yeah, I think we all did. [00:41:31] Speaker B: So in my head, we just, like, if it was like a tv show or a movie, we just, like, the camera would follow the barrel rolling down the hallway, and it would, like, kind of stop in the middle of them all. And they're all just kind of look at it like, uh. And then it explodes. You see, like, the. The bomb coming in just got a. [00:41:51] Speaker C: Smiley face drawn on it. [00:41:52] Speaker A: Of course the barrel explodes. Now that I've done the math of how much damage has gone on, I removed the walls from the digital map. Obviously, they're still on the picture, but you can ignore them because your line of sight is what it actually is. So the camera in this tv show that we have zooms out to the outside of this fortress. And the wall on the right hand side just blows out mud going everywhere. Red mud. You see the dragon pillars that are outside. You see one that had, like, an orange flame flickering in it, just get knocked over and demolished inside. You see part of the ribs from the room that you were about to go into. Just bone and shrapnel exploding everywhere. And another room further to the northe just explodes outward. You hear of a ringing in your ears that high pitched as everything comes back into focus from that large explosion. [00:43:04] Speaker D: Which is like Breanna's trying to make her ears come back to normal. [00:43:09] Speaker B: Wow. [00:43:14] Speaker A: Wow. [00:43:15] Speaker E: That was impressive. [00:43:17] Speaker A: Stop yelling. [00:43:19] Speaker D: What? [00:43:20] Speaker B: I said stop yelling. [00:43:24] Speaker D: What are we smelling? [00:43:27] Speaker C: I feel like Saraya's used to this. Like, she probably has earplugs in 80% of the time because she's. [00:43:32] Speaker D: She's a bomber or is deaf at this point. [00:43:37] Speaker B: Gotta say, like, the writers of this adventure path gave us a bunch of barrels of gunpowder. Like, what did they expect us to do with them? [00:43:45] Speaker C: I mean, they did include hardness for all the walls here. [00:43:47] Speaker B: Mm hmm. [00:43:49] Speaker A: They did. Okay, so from around the corner, you see a dragon head pop out. [00:43:56] Speaker C: Hello. [00:43:57] Speaker A: A lion head pop out. [00:43:59] Speaker B: Oh, good. [00:44:00] Speaker C: Oh, is there a manticore? [00:44:01] Speaker A: A goat head pop out? [00:44:04] Speaker B: That's a chimera. [00:44:05] Speaker A: And it's looking like, what the just happened? [00:44:10] Speaker C: This guy there is about to curse us. [00:44:14] Speaker B: Yeah, twin tongs. Like, we are all so surprised at the loudness of that. [00:44:19] Speaker C: Sorry, bro. [00:44:20] Speaker B: Yeah, just hold his hands up. [00:44:21] Speaker D: Sorry, my bad. [00:44:25] Speaker B: Dusting. I feel like we all have just like dust all over. Just debris blew backwards. [00:44:29] Speaker C: Just a fine red dust over everything. [00:44:32] Speaker B: Dusting ourselves off as this thing's coming around the corner. [00:44:35] Speaker E: Did I used to have eyebrows? I can't remember. [00:44:38] Speaker C: Am I missing an eyebrow? [00:44:41] Speaker A: Also? Everyone give me a perception check, please. This is a hearing perception, so it's going to be a lot harder than it was going to be initially. [00:44:53] Speaker B: I rolled a nine for a 24. [00:44:57] Speaker C: Can I roll for Jasper as well? [00:44:59] Speaker A: Uh, sure. [00:45:00] Speaker C: It's gonna be whatever this is plus two because he has a better perception than I do. He only got it. He got a 16. [00:45:08] Speaker A: Okay, so the only one who hears this and it's creepy that I find it very interesting. Brianna, you hear the twang and the sound of an old guitar? [00:45:23] Speaker E: No. [00:45:24] Speaker A: Wafting through the air. And we'll deal with the chimeras next week. [00:45:29] Speaker B: Chimeras? There's more than one? [00:45:33] Speaker D: Sounds like it. [00:45:34] Speaker B: No, I've got another barrel here somewhere. [00:45:37] Speaker A: Thank you for listening to the Crack Die podcast.
