[00:00:42] Speaker A: For episode 19 of the Cracked Die podcast. My name is Matt. I play Twin Talon on the show. And this week I just wanted to very, very briefly touch on deities of Galerian, the planet that Pathfinder takes place on. So in Pathfinder, the deities or gods are very present, and they give their powers to their champions, whether those are actual champions or clerics to do their bidding throughout the world. Now, there are a couple party members who we know worship deities. And while for people who've been playing Pathfinder, this might be old hat, I just wanted to go into who those people know. It says a lot about a person, what deity you worship. So we have in our party Brienna, who worships Serenre. Serenre's portfolio or the areas of influence that she has are sun, redemption, honesty, and healing. We also have Temid, our cleric, who worships Kaden Kalin. Kaden Kalin's portfolio includes freedom, ale, wine, and bravery. Kaden Kalin also used to be immortal, got drunk, did a thing that no one knows what he did, and now he's a god. So I think that tells you all you need to know about Tempen. Some other deities that might come up in this episode wink wink are Cholestra, whose portfolio includes trickery, lust, and revenge. You also might hear about Desna. Desna's portfolio includes dreams, stars, travelers, and luck. And as we've seen before, twin Talon venerates his ancestors, which is ancestor worship. So those are a few of the gods on Galerian. But if you are interested in more, paizo is actually releasing a book very soon. [00:02:28] Speaker B: It looks like it is releasing on. [00:02:31] Speaker A: The 29 January called pathfinder lost omens, gods and Magic, which goes into a lot more detail on those deities. Considering the fact that we're not getting paid for advertisements, I think that's enough shelling on my part. [00:02:46] Speaker B: Now to the episode. [00:02:47] Speaker A: Episode 19 of The Cracked Eye Podcast Donce Macabre previously on The Cracked Die. [00:02:56] Speaker C: Podcast, after dealing with the Gelatinous cube, all heroes continued to explore the catacombs of the citadel. Twin Talon found a secret door and opened it. In there, they found devilish whites. Will our heroes be able to deal with the whites? Find out now on the Cracked die podcast. [00:03:22] Speaker D: Welcome to the 19th episode of the Crack die podcast. [00:03:27] Speaker B: Possibly the last. [00:03:28] Speaker D: Possibly the last. Yeah. [00:03:29] Speaker E: Party's looking rough. [00:03:30] Speaker D: The group is not looking good here. [00:03:32] Speaker F: Miles. Silver would just run away. [00:03:34] Speaker G: I believe in us. I really believe in us. [00:03:36] Speaker E: I think Silver's Gray would, like, try to make it out, but I don't know that she'd get four silver, quick. [00:03:40] Speaker B: Go get five goblins to come down. [00:03:42] Speaker E: Here to fight these people. Yeah, what are our little four? [00:03:46] Speaker F: And Yalecha, you know, that would be hilarious. The cobalt, if I could right, we just dragon bugbear. [00:03:52] Speaker D: Go grab the cobalt. Yeah, you can get the cobalt. All right. So when we last left, I was mean and gave well hopefully not too mean. I gave you a week to think about three questions to ask about these whites. You could ask questions like saves or special attacks or anything like that. [00:04:09] Speaker E: Do we want to know how many hit points they have? [00:04:11] Speaker F: Is that a question I can ask? [00:04:12] Speaker D: Absolutely. [00:04:13] Speaker F: How many hit points do these things? [00:04:15] Speaker D: Each one of them has 50. [00:04:18] Speaker G: I don't like the sound of that. [00:04:19] Speaker B: That's not too bad, though. I mean, considering I did 22 in the one attack and yeah, to that one, mr. Bragging. Well, no, I just mean, like, damage. [00:04:28] Speaker E: Down the gelatinous cube that had 90, right? [00:04:30] Speaker B: Closer than we think. [00:04:31] Speaker F: Did they have any special effects when they are killed? [00:04:34] Speaker D: Yes, good question. As a reaction, when they are reduced to zero hit points and die, they make a single strike before being destroyed. [00:04:47] Speaker F: Okay. Ouch. [00:04:49] Speaker D: So it's a last gasp attack. [00:04:51] Speaker B: This is not ending, Rose. [00:04:53] Speaker F: This is tough. [00:04:54] Speaker D: Do you want special attacks, too? [00:04:56] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:04:56] Speaker D: All right. [00:04:57] Speaker B: Special attacks. [00:04:57] Speaker D: They have two special attacks. One is called drain life. Whenever they land a successful claw attack, they gain three temporary hit points. And you also must make a fortitude save, which, if you fail, you get drained. And every time you fail, it increases by one. The other is white Spawn. If you die from a White, you will indeed rise as a White in one d four rounds. [00:05:34] Speaker F: Oh, no. That's a lot. [00:05:36] Speaker G: I think you mispronounced days. [00:05:38] Speaker D: Wow. [00:05:40] Speaker F: In first edition it wasn't that quick. [00:05:43] Speaker D: One d four rounds. [00:05:43] Speaker B: I do not recall. It's never good, though. [00:05:46] Speaker F: That's not good at all. [00:05:47] Speaker D: And that white has clumsy too. [00:05:50] Speaker B: So you're not even a good white. [00:05:51] Speaker E: Wait, the new white has clumsy too? [00:05:53] Speaker B: Yeah, it's like a foal. A newborn foal. Just legs and a kimbo. [00:05:56] Speaker E: Figuring out how to do this whole. [00:05:58] Speaker H: White would be really funny. [00:05:59] Speaker D: Then if you kill the white that spawned the new white, that new white finally becomes a full fledged White. [00:06:08] Speaker I: Oh, crap. [00:06:10] Speaker G: So you have to kill the baby. [00:06:12] Speaker E: Then kill the daddy. [00:06:14] Speaker F: Well, I'm glad. Is that what I heard? Single digit hit. [00:06:18] Speaker B: We decided not to with the it's probably fine. [00:06:21] Speaker F: Okay. Awesome. [00:06:23] Speaker H: This is really bad. [00:06:24] Speaker D: Yes. [00:06:24] Speaker I: We're not looking too good. [00:06:26] Speaker F: When it's time, it's turd. Just give me a heads up. [00:06:28] Speaker D: Brianna, you're up next. [00:06:31] Speaker I: Brianna stumbles back slightly. She's looking really rough. After the last claw mark, she will, in her own way, flavor rage, I suppose. I will not be beaten down. Serendre, give me your light for a fucking natural 20. [00:06:50] Speaker E: I want to know what high is dicer made of magic. [00:06:54] Speaker G: Wait a second. I see like 620s on there. [00:06:57] Speaker E: What? [00:06:57] Speaker I: It's fine. Don't look at it too closely. [00:07:01] Speaker B: Anwar, whose side are you on? Sean's side or our side? [00:07:03] Speaker G: I'm on the side of truth, justice, pathfinder way. [00:07:06] Speaker D: How much damage do you do? [00:07:08] Speaker I: Oh, first should we? [00:07:10] Speaker D: Quick card? [00:07:11] Speaker E: Yes. [00:07:11] Speaker H: Are you fucking serious? More triple damage, rupture abdominal cavity, triple damage. The target is fatigued. [00:07:22] Speaker E: Okay. [00:07:23] Speaker I: I mean, there so I decapitated is. [00:07:26] Speaker D: What you're saying, because its head is in its stomach? [00:07:29] Speaker E: Yes. [00:07:29] Speaker B: Well, the corgi's stomach was at its head, so it's only fair. [00:07:33] Speaker I: It's only fair. [00:07:34] Speaker B: Dragon corgi. Go back and see it. We're not actually killing dogs. [00:07:37] Speaker D: Yes. [00:07:39] Speaker B: I'm bad at this. [00:07:40] Speaker I: 21 because that's triple seven plus times 321. [00:07:44] Speaker D: Yes. [00:07:44] Speaker I: 21 damage. [00:07:45] Speaker B: Nice drool. [00:07:46] Speaker F: A two. [00:07:47] Speaker B: That's a three, if I remember correctly. For me, Silver was singing. [00:07:52] Speaker I: Oh, you were singing? [00:07:53] Speaker E: Yes. [00:07:53] Speaker B: So 24 damage. [00:07:55] Speaker G: 24 damage. That's right. [00:07:57] Speaker E: There we go. We took out, basically is it dead? [00:08:00] Speaker G: How dead is it? [00:08:01] Speaker B: That's about half its hit points. [00:08:03] Speaker D: It looks real bad. It's hanging on by a thread. Kill it. [00:08:08] Speaker E: Okay, you can do it. [00:08:10] Speaker I: How about an 18 hit? Okay, I'm not even going to add the three. Four h damage. [00:08:22] Speaker D: It dies. [00:08:24] Speaker G: Yes. [00:08:25] Speaker B: And it rises as a champion. [00:08:27] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:08:28] Speaker D: Wait, what does a oh, here we go. [00:08:31] Speaker G: Clumsy champion. [00:08:32] Speaker I: I'm going to die. [00:08:33] Speaker D: 21 hit you. [00:08:34] Speaker E: Yes. [00:08:36] Speaker D: Six damage. Brandon goes down and a fortitude save. [00:08:43] Speaker I: Good questioning. [00:08:45] Speaker F: Oh, I have a healing question. [00:08:47] Speaker G: I've got a healing spell. [00:08:48] Speaker I: I'm right next to get my backup. [00:08:50] Speaker D: So the good news is, when the last gasp claw, it doesn't get temporary hit points. That would be so, like, broken. [00:09:00] Speaker E: That would be broken if they did six. [00:09:01] Speaker D: You're good. Just so you guys know, that one only got twelve temporary hit points during the course. God. Pond watcher. You're up, Brianna. No. [00:09:13] Speaker H: He can't rage, but he tries and no ice comes out. This has never happened to me before. He swings his flail at its kneecap. [00:09:25] Speaker B: And it is flat footed. [00:09:28] Speaker H: That's good to know. That's not very good. [00:09:32] Speaker D: 16 with it being flat footed. That is a hit. Oh, yes. [00:09:40] Speaker H: Eight bludgeoning damage. He will swing again. That's pretty bad. Ten miss. And he will attempt to trip. [00:09:54] Speaker D: Okay. [00:09:58] Speaker H: 20 hit. [00:10:00] Speaker D: Three. It trips, it falls prone. [00:10:04] Speaker H: So he smashes it in the knee and then wraps it around and just Sareia. [00:10:09] Speaker E: Oh, you didn't forget me this time. [00:10:11] Speaker D: I only do that once. [00:10:13] Speaker E: I'm assuming Brianna is too far for me to get. [00:10:16] Speaker D: Uh, no, you can move. [00:10:20] Speaker E: Is there space in between her and. [00:10:21] Speaker D: Timid for me to stand between her and the white? [00:10:25] Speaker B: Correct. [00:10:26] Speaker E: I could meet Shield. [00:10:29] Speaker I: Don't worry about it. [00:10:31] Speaker F: Go for. [00:10:34] Speaker E: To. You're going to help her. All right. [00:10:36] Speaker B: Anwar shook his head. I don't know if you could hear the rock. [00:10:38] Speaker E: And we're nodded. [00:10:39] Speaker I: Yeah. How many left? [00:10:45] Speaker E: Two. [00:10:45] Speaker I: Worry about those two. [00:10:46] Speaker F: Yeah, worry about those. [00:10:47] Speaker E: Yeah. Okay. [00:10:48] Speaker F: The one that hasn't taken any damage. [00:10:50] Speaker E: She'S going to take an acid flask because she's got a couple of those from her morning, and she's going to try and throw it around. Pond watcher in between pondwatcher and twin talon. That's a natural one. [00:11:06] Speaker D: Oh, no, that's a critical failure. [00:11:09] Speaker B: Well, it's prone, though, right? [00:11:10] Speaker D: Yes. [00:11:11] Speaker B: So what's its AC? Yeah, it is prone. I don't know if Prone's flat footed. [00:11:15] Speaker D: Or what the because it's a natural. [00:11:19] Speaker E: One, but if we're going strictly by. [00:11:20] Speaker F: Numbers, it's a nine, always a miss. [00:11:23] Speaker B: Seven one is always a miss, but I think if it hits, it's not a crit. [00:11:28] Speaker D: Okay, prone is minus eight, flat footed with a minus two circle. [00:11:32] Speaker E: I'm not a combat combat class. [00:11:34] Speaker B: Yeah, I know. [00:11:35] Speaker D: So it's minus 414. [00:11:38] Speaker E: We decided they're range, not magical. [00:11:41] Speaker F: Yeah, that's probably good. [00:11:44] Speaker B: Actually, they're both bad. Don't hit me until the end of your next turn. Each time you miss with a ranged attack targeting enemy adjacent to any of your allies, you hit one of those adjacent allies instead, determined randomly. [00:12:00] Speaker F: No pressure. [00:12:01] Speaker D: So what's your second action? [00:12:04] Speaker B: Just never miss and you'll be fine. [00:12:06] Speaker E: Yeah, right. It's that easy. [00:12:08] Speaker B: And it's one turn. [00:12:09] Speaker E: Does he take the splash damage, though? [00:12:11] Speaker D: Yes, I've marked it down. [00:12:13] Speaker E: Okay. [00:12:13] Speaker F: Are you a gambler? [00:12:14] Speaker D: He does not look good. They don't look good. [00:12:19] Speaker F: You got to gamble, Christine. Gamble with the lives of twin talent and pond watchers. [00:12:24] Speaker E: I only have one action left because she would have had to lay out and throw it. She's going to pull out another acid flask and wait. [00:12:32] Speaker D: All right. [00:12:32] Speaker E: It's till the end of my next turn. [00:12:35] Speaker B: Correct. [00:12:35] Speaker D: Okay, so it's still all right, so the white that hasn't done anything yet sees its companion go down and it runs away, takes a step forward, boo and swings at Silver. [00:12:50] Speaker F: Okay. [00:12:52] Speaker B: Probably got a plus two bonus AC going around the corner. [00:12:54] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:12:56] Speaker D: Natural one. Yes. [00:12:58] Speaker F: That does it's a fail. [00:13:02] Speaker D: Does a 13 hit you? [00:13:04] Speaker F: No. [00:13:04] Speaker D: Okay, then it is a crit fail. [00:13:07] Speaker B: Great roar until healed. You are deafened. [00:13:12] Speaker F: Wow. So effective. That gives the white second it's around. [00:13:16] Speaker B: The corner, whacks its head against the wall. [00:13:17] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:13:19] Speaker D: Did you give me your dice, Rich? [00:13:21] Speaker H: Yeah, I hope so. [00:13:23] Speaker B: Silver another one hard edged adversary. The thing is, silver is just all bones and elbows. I don't know if you ever had a bony elbow dog crawl across you, but it is painful. You take two D, six piercing or slashing damage determined by the GM. [00:13:41] Speaker D: All right, well, I just rolled two sixes. [00:13:43] Speaker F: Wow. [00:13:45] Speaker B: All right, so it took out a. [00:13:48] Speaker E: Quarter of its own health. [00:13:49] Speaker D: So that white has been hit by its own friend and itself now and. [00:13:54] Speaker E: Bash his head against the wall and deafened itself. [00:13:57] Speaker B: That's its third action. [00:13:58] Speaker E: Is he okay? Do you really care? Does Brianna really care? [00:14:03] Speaker I: Brianna's unconscious. [00:14:04] Speaker H: They put him in the sarcophagus upside. [00:14:07] Speaker F: It moved. [00:14:07] Speaker D: Oh, it moved? Yeah. Okay, thanks. [00:14:09] Speaker B: As much as I would like it to roll a five and get another critical failure, I'd probably kill itself at that point. [00:14:15] Speaker D: All right, so the white on the ground is going to stand up. [00:14:20] Speaker B: One action. [00:14:21] Speaker D: Take a swing at Twin Talon. [00:14:27] Speaker B: I always wanted to be a white. [00:14:30] Speaker D: 15. [00:14:31] Speaker B: That's a miss. [00:14:32] Speaker G: Hey, nice. This is your way around it. Swing with him at the beginning of Character creative. [00:14:38] Speaker H: At Pond Watcher, you only have one hand. [00:14:40] Speaker B: That's true. [00:14:41] Speaker H: You can't use your stump to scare me. [00:14:46] Speaker G: He can try eight. [00:14:48] Speaker H: That is a crit fail. [00:14:50] Speaker G: Yes. [00:14:52] Speaker B: This is our episode. Unarmed, battered until healed. You take negative two circumstance penalty to checks and saving throws. So an attack is a check, by the way. [00:15:06] Speaker D: And one more at Twin stood up. [00:15:09] Speaker B: That's three extra. [00:15:10] Speaker D: Oh, that is temid, you're up. [00:15:13] Speaker G: All right, so Temid on his turn. [00:15:17] Speaker F: Because we're mentally linked. You start getting, like, flashes. [00:15:19] Speaker D: Oh, hang on, I'm sorry, there's bleed on that one between Twin Talon and Pond Watcher. [00:15:30] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:15:31] Speaker D: As that bleed ticks, it falls down dead. Is it strike twin Talon, even or odds? [00:15:42] Speaker B: I'll go with odds. [00:15:44] Speaker D: It is a five. So it will swing at Pond watcher. [00:15:48] Speaker B: Okay, always bet on odds. [00:15:52] Speaker D: 31. Yeah, that hits you. Is that a crit? [00:16:00] Speaker H: Yeah, my AC is 19. [00:16:02] Speaker G: Oh, shit. [00:16:03] Speaker H: Thanks, Matt. [00:16:06] Speaker F: All right, I'll read the cricket, I didn't roll anything. Okay, it's what's, flashing? [00:16:14] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:16:15] Speaker B: Oh, fudge it could be bludgeoning if it's a stump. [00:16:20] Speaker E: Is it a stump? [00:16:21] Speaker B: You can tell us, Aaron, if you think it's a stump or it's his claw. [00:16:27] Speaker F: I'm sorry. Lean into the blow. Triple damage, you drop your weapon. But. [00:16:34] Speaker B: That seems so inconsequential. [00:16:37] Speaker E: Inconsequential? [00:16:38] Speaker B: Yeah, I lost a letter because of how inconsequential it was. [00:16:41] Speaker G: Wait, massive damage? Is that going to come into play here? [00:16:46] Speaker F: No, he's at, like, 15. He will be fine. [00:16:50] Speaker B: I think you have to get under in one blow, like your whole hip. [00:16:53] Speaker H: Thanks to SurreyA, I'm at 17. [00:16:55] Speaker F: So under your whole plus, if that's. [00:17:00] Speaker H: What keeps me from dying, he'll be. [00:17:04] Speaker F: Unconscious, I'm pretty sure, but I don't. [00:17:06] Speaker E: Think he'll be well, he came back from a conscious one, so he's technically wounded one. He'll go down to wounded to dying two. [00:17:12] Speaker F: Dying two. [00:17:13] Speaker B: But if that would have hit me, that might actually permanently that would actually. [00:17:16] Speaker E: Just, like, permanently kill. Yeah. [00:17:18] Speaker H: I'm just supposed to get hit and killed. It's my job. [00:17:22] Speaker F: You are a barbarian. [00:17:23] Speaker I: Your penis is blurred off. [00:17:25] Speaker F: If I learned anything from Conan what. [00:17:28] Speaker D: Is double your maximum health? [00:17:32] Speaker H: 68. [00:17:33] Speaker D: Okay, you are not instantly killed. You do take 30 points of damage. [00:17:40] Speaker E: Totally. [00:17:42] Speaker F: Oh, that's bad. [00:17:44] Speaker G: He's dying to tis, but to scratch. [00:17:47] Speaker D: Hey, look, it looks like it's going to bleed out. [00:17:52] Speaker E: Can you imagine that cinematic moment? She's like, Ha ha, it's bleeding, and then it just like, stabs him as it goes down. It's just like and he just kind. [00:18:00] Speaker D: Of droops with pod Watcher will now be played by Sean Bean. [00:18:04] Speaker E: Oh, no. Sareia definitely, like, screams. She's like, not again. [00:18:08] Speaker D: Just so you guys know, that particular White had 14 temporary hit points at some point. Okay, Temid, you're up. [00:18:18] Speaker F: All right, because Temid and Silver are linked, you start getting, like, flashes of his memory. So you get a brief image of your mind, like some vast icy plane, and all these people are running around and they're on fire. And on the distance and the horizon you see stretching from tip to tip as far as your view, the wingspan of some massive dragon. [00:18:40] Speaker G: So Teme just kind of, like, shakes his head and he kind of stores that. But right now there's more important things. But that's like I got to get back to that at some point. I got to figure out I know what that's about, but I have a lot of questions. That's really interesting. But so what he's going to do is he's going to reach down and he's going to use his last healing font for the day to cast heel the two Action heel on Brianna. [00:19:05] Speaker D: Do you have that group heel one? [00:19:07] Speaker G: I do. That's one. [00:19:08] Speaker D: D eight. Well, you have two people who are oh, that's down. [00:19:13] Speaker G: I'm sorry. I was so focused on what it is I wanted to do initially. [00:19:17] Speaker F: Can it work over? Do you need line of sight or something? [00:19:20] Speaker B: But I would say that it's more important that you get Brianna up. Yeah, she's right next to the monster. [00:19:27] Speaker G: And we've got two people that can help. Yeah. So I think that I'm going to stick with that initially. [00:19:33] Speaker D: That's fine. [00:19:36] Speaker G: All right. Not too bad. She gets 14 hit points back. [00:19:40] Speaker D: Great. [00:19:41] Speaker G: And then he's going to take a swing at this guy with this white with his rapier, his now temporarily magical rapier. All right, 24 to hit that'll I'm sorry. 25 to hit that'll definitely hit. It wasn't a crate, right? [00:19:58] Speaker D: No. [00:20:02] Speaker G: So I get 46 plus one, d eight. Plus four. Wait, are you still doing Inspire? [00:20:10] Speaker F: I was. Okay. [00:20:12] Speaker G: 48 plus one, D six. I'm sorry. 48 plus 46 plus one, D eight. Plus two. [00:20:20] Speaker F: This is healing. [00:20:22] Speaker G: No, this is damage. [00:20:23] Speaker B: Not a crit, though, right? [00:20:24] Speaker D: Oh, shit. [00:20:25] Speaker G: It's not a crit. I was so excited about trying to get a crit. [00:20:28] Speaker D: No, you're very excited. [00:20:29] Speaker G: All right, we'll cut that out. No, you guys not going to cut that out. Doesn't matter. It's still a lot of damage. 810 13 plus 215 points of damage. You got 14 points back. [00:20:46] Speaker I: Okay, thank you. [00:20:48] Speaker D: All right, Twin Talon, you're up. [00:20:51] Speaker B: Okay, so he will look at soraya he'll just look at her and be like, can you get him up? [00:20:56] Speaker E: Yes. [00:20:56] Speaker F: Okay. [00:20:57] Speaker B: And he's going to take off running around the corner. [00:20:59] Speaker D: All right, I got you. [00:21:01] Speaker B: What's your speed? 25. And he'll then go there. Can I get adjacent? [00:21:10] Speaker G: Wait, I'm sorry. I need to take eight off of that. I don't know why I rolled the D eight because that's only deadly. That's part of the crit. And I don't know why I had crit just stuck in my head, but so it was only seven points. [00:21:22] Speaker D: That's all right. [00:21:23] Speaker F: You can move to flanking with it right there. [00:21:25] Speaker B: Sweet. [00:21:26] Speaker D: All right. [00:21:26] Speaker B: And your last action will be to shankify the white. So it's flat footed to me. So 16 to hit. [00:21:38] Speaker E: Yes. [00:21:42] Speaker B: And that is 14 damage. [00:21:46] Speaker H: Nice. [00:21:47] Speaker B: So pond watcher I'm sorry, not pond watcher. Who am I? So Twin Talon comes screaming around the corner, kind of kicks off the wall and just plunges one of his short swords up under the ribcage of the white, which is, well, smashing its face into the wall. And also that took down Brianna. [00:22:08] Speaker D: Brianna, you're up. [00:22:11] Speaker I: I'm going to try and trip it, too, since I'm down here. [00:22:13] Speaker H: All right, well, the only reason I could do that is because I have a flail. [00:22:18] Speaker D: Otherwise you need a free. You can stand up, right? [00:22:22] Speaker I: Doesn't provoke. [00:22:23] Speaker D: No. Well, I mean, if unless it has a reaction. [00:22:26] Speaker H: It doesn't, because I did it. [00:22:27] Speaker I: I'm a stand. [00:22:28] Speaker D: All right, first action is stand. [00:22:30] Speaker I: Second action swingy is to swing. I mean, unless the second action is to pick my sword back. [00:22:36] Speaker D: No, you didn't drop it. Okay, remember, you do have a plus one scimitar right now. [00:22:41] Speaker I: I do. [00:22:41] Speaker B: So it's one extra plus one to attack. [00:22:43] Speaker D: Yes. [00:22:43] Speaker I: So how's it 24. [00:22:46] Speaker D: I mean, it hits for six damage and it dies. [00:22:55] Speaker G: Nice. There are three possible people. [00:22:59] Speaker D: He could four. [00:23:01] Speaker B: I'm behind it. [00:23:02] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:23:03] Speaker D: All right. Matt, one to two. Temid three, four. [00:23:10] Speaker G: So it's going to attack Matt. [00:23:11] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:23:11] Speaker G: This is not. [00:23:14] Speaker I: I just administered the right. [00:23:17] Speaker D: It just reaches and it swings at whoever's there. [00:23:19] Speaker E: Okay. [00:23:19] Speaker I: I was trying to make a case for it to hit me. [00:23:21] Speaker B: 1234 d four. [00:23:26] Speaker F: Oh, yeah. Roll a D eight and then make. [00:23:28] Speaker B: It more why don't you want to roll the D 16? [00:23:30] Speaker E: Yes. [00:23:31] Speaker F: What are we doing? [00:23:31] Speaker D: DC hits does actually it's a three, so it hits Brianna. [00:23:37] Speaker E: Makes sense. [00:23:38] Speaker F: Yeah. You are also like, undead bane one. [00:23:42] Speaker D: So a total of 13 doesn't even hit you and it's dead. [00:23:47] Speaker B: Is one a crit fail? [00:23:50] Speaker D: Yes, but it's on its death. [00:23:52] Speaker B: I love these cards. [00:23:52] Speaker D: All right, so we are now out of combat. [00:23:57] Speaker H: I have to roll because I'm dying. [00:23:59] Speaker D: Yes, you are dying. [00:24:00] Speaker B: Well, can we stay in actually, can. [00:24:01] Speaker H: We stay in an I'm next, though? [00:24:03] Speaker D: Pond watcher is next. [00:24:04] Speaker H: That's what I'm saying. So this is a DC twelve. [00:24:08] Speaker D: Yes. [00:24:08] Speaker H: Flat check. All right, go to dying three. [00:24:13] Speaker F: Eight. Oh, dying three. [00:24:16] Speaker D: Dying three. Sareia. [00:24:18] Speaker E: I'm going to try and feed him a healing potion. Okay, legit straight up to healing potion this time. [00:24:22] Speaker H: Yeah, but my mouth got caught off. [00:24:27] Speaker E: I will make it happen. I at least know Elven anatomy. [00:24:30] Speaker F: Okay, rectal. Oh, man. [00:24:33] Speaker E: No, I do not. [00:24:35] Speaker G: Well, you said you would do anything to save his life. [00:24:37] Speaker D: Butt chugging healing potions. Can that be the title? [00:24:44] Speaker E: Our next Ad to end the episode isn't going to be an ad. It's a PSA about butt chugging healing potions. [00:24:51] Speaker I: You don't absorb it as fast as you would think. [00:24:53] Speaker E: Heal six. [00:24:55] Speaker D: So you are no longer dying. You are just injured three or wounded. [00:24:59] Speaker E: Three is like doing her best to hold you, but you're very muscly enlarged. [00:25:05] Speaker G: I'm assuming I haven't treated wounds on you in a while. [00:25:09] Speaker F: Does treat wounds get rid of all wounds or just wounded condition or is he yeah, I think if it gets. [00:25:14] Speaker B: To full hit points is that right. [00:25:16] Speaker G: Or is that no, if you heal magically and then you get to full hit points, then you rest for ten minutes, you get rid of the wounded condition. [00:25:23] Speaker F: Okay. [00:25:24] Speaker G: However, with the medicine check, it's just if I succeed, you automatically no longer have the wounded condition. [00:25:32] Speaker D: I don't feel so good. [00:25:34] Speaker F: Is everyone okay? [00:25:35] Speaker B: Are we in? Let me take a look mode then. [00:25:38] Speaker E: Yes. The rest of them are dead. And you did very well. [00:25:42] Speaker G: Let me take a look at let me take a look at him. All right. 18. So I succeed. [00:25:49] Speaker H: Sharp fingers. [00:25:52] Speaker D: So what does everyone mean? [00:25:54] Speaker G: Up your butt. [00:25:54] Speaker F: Sorry. [00:25:55] Speaker D: So twin talon what are you doing? [00:25:57] Speaker B: Twin talon will go over to Brianna. [00:26:00] Speaker D: Okay. [00:26:01] Speaker F: Brianna, are you okay? [00:26:02] Speaker I: I'm fine. And she'll kind of angrily brush away and crawl on over to try and aid healing. [00:26:13] Speaker E: Pond watcher. [00:26:14] Speaker B: Twin talon will as Brandon kind of brushes him off, he will just jam his swords angrily and frustratedly into the fallen white right in front of him. [00:26:24] Speaker D: So as you do that, some of the blood splatters, and you see that it starts to fill in some ruins. [00:26:33] Speaker E: Like runes? [00:26:34] Speaker D: Yeah, like writing that was not on the bottom of the tombs that are standing up. As it fills, it starts to kind of fall and flow through all of them. And you see another set of runes written in there. [00:26:48] Speaker B: Is it an infernal or no. Is it common? [00:26:52] Speaker D: No. [00:26:53] Speaker B: Shawanti on the off chance? [00:26:54] Speaker H: No. [00:26:55] Speaker D: All right, Temid. You healed. [00:26:58] Speaker G: Yep, I healed. Pond watcher. I succeeded. He got, unfortunately, four hit points back, but he also is no longer wounded. [00:27:05] Speaker D: Okay, Brianna, you dusted yourself off, crawled over to try and help. [00:27:10] Speaker I: You just treated wounds, correct? [00:27:13] Speaker G: Yes, I did. [00:27:14] Speaker I: So I can't do battle medicine. [00:27:15] Speaker D: You can. [00:27:16] Speaker I: I will. [00:27:17] Speaker D: Battle medicine and treat wounds are different. [00:27:26] Speaker I: Take ten, Beck. [00:27:27] Speaker H: Wow. [00:27:28] Speaker E: Okay. [00:27:29] Speaker B: And Sunwatcher is immune to thanks, everyone. [00:27:33] Speaker D: Silver, what are you doing? [00:27:36] Speaker F: Silver will ramped as a crazy old man, but he's also going to be searching a room for any. [00:27:47] Speaker G: Chinese. [00:27:48] Speaker D: Chinese? [00:27:49] Speaker F: Yes. He's hungry. He wants Chinese food. [00:27:51] Speaker D: Soraya general, what are you doing? [00:27:53] Speaker E: She's probably had Ponucher's head in her lap since she was feeding him the potion. And this is like her surrogate fun now, and she wants to make sure he's okay. [00:28:01] Speaker D: All right. [00:28:02] Speaker F: This is a terrible place. [00:28:05] Speaker D: So does anyone have the identify magic? [00:28:11] Speaker F: You mean identify or is identify magic a specific thing? [00:28:15] Speaker D: I believe it is a specific thing. [00:28:17] Speaker B: It might be part of it's part of Arcana? Yeah. [00:28:21] Speaker H: It's a trained action for well, yes. [00:28:23] Speaker E: Then I can do that. [00:28:24] Speaker D: Okay, can you both give me that Role? This is going to take another ten minutes to do. On top of that, to identify the runes that have shown up in the blood. While they're looking at that, what do the rest of you want to do? [00:28:37] Speaker F: Do I find any Shinies? [00:28:38] Speaker D: I'll let you know in a second. This is pretty shiny. [00:28:43] Speaker B: Twin Talon will kind of warily look around. He is very ill at ease being in a tomb in this crypt, especially one of knights. Mostly he's just making sure everybody's okay before they leave. [00:28:57] Speaker G: Okay, Temid temid's going to patch up some of his wounds. He took a lot of lot of damage there. [00:29:04] Speaker I: All right, Brienna, Brianna saying that Pond Watchers being tended to will stand up, dust herself off, and will also take a moment to self reflect and thank her lady for good fortune so she can reset that focus point. [00:29:26] Speaker D: All right, Pond Watcher, now that you're back to the land of the living, he thanks everyone. [00:29:34] Speaker H: And then he will glance into the empty sarcophagai. [00:29:40] Speaker D: All right, so what did you two roll for Arcana? For Arcana. [00:29:46] Speaker F: 20 114. [00:29:47] Speaker D: All right, so working together, you guys realize that this is necromantic runes. And those runes confirm what Twin Talon told you earlier about these kind of a necromantic, fire fighting, fire type deal. [00:30:07] Speaker E: So these are the ones that would be raised? [00:30:09] Speaker D: Yes. But you know that these are the runes that would animate all of the undead in this. If there are more in here, and you could destroy it or successfully essentially. [00:30:22] Speaker F: Disarm the trap to stop all undead that are in this in this tomb. [00:30:27] Speaker E: I'm good doing that. [00:30:28] Speaker F: Yeah, I'll try to destroy well, I. [00:30:30] Speaker D: Will need a disabled device check. [00:30:33] Speaker F: What's that under do we thievery. [00:30:35] Speaker B: Thievery. [00:30:36] Speaker D: If you don't have it, you can explain it to someone who might, and they can take some time and try and do it. [00:30:42] Speaker F: I have thievery. I am untrained in Thievery, but I'm curious if mine is a plus four, I could spend time just explaining it to Twin Talon, but if he'd be keen, just spend ten minutes explaining what magical things he might need to do. [00:31:01] Speaker B: Sure, he'll I'm sure. Which runes to scratch out. [00:31:04] Speaker F: Yeah, very like he particularly So you're going to assist? [00:31:08] Speaker D: You're going to make the check? Give me an assist check to see if you help them. How much you help them by. [00:31:14] Speaker F: It's 20. It's 20, and that's not a flat roll. [00:31:17] Speaker D: No, it's plus your thievery. [00:31:19] Speaker F: Plus my thievery. Okay. I don't know if I'll get this. I just did it. So 16, which is plus four, is 20. [00:31:27] Speaker D: So you get a plus two. [00:31:29] Speaker B: Okay. I'm sorry. [00:31:30] Speaker D: Plus one. [00:31:31] Speaker B: So I rolled a 25. Plus one is 26. [00:31:34] Speaker H: Nice. [00:31:35] Speaker G: That is just enough. [00:31:38] Speaker F: That's a tough trip. [00:31:39] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:31:40] Speaker D: And it would have done three d six negative if you failed. [00:31:43] Speaker I: Good. [00:31:44] Speaker B: That would have been me being dead. [00:31:45] Speaker E: There would have been a lot of us being dead. [00:31:48] Speaker D: So you scratch out all the runes, and the light that was starting to glow from the blood soaking into them, dissipates. As you do that, the other tombs that were not opened slide open, and the bodies kind of fall out on the ground unceremoniously. [00:32:09] Speaker B: Wow. [00:32:10] Speaker I: Which means somebody has already triggered this. [00:32:13] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't think we did it when we came in. [00:32:16] Speaker D: Unless someone's casting necromancy. [00:32:18] Speaker B: It's probably Vase, I'd be willing to bet. [00:32:22] Speaker F: I got a few questions for this Elven lady and her we should not. [00:32:26] Speaker H: Have opened this door, I don't think. [00:32:30] Speaker F: Personally, I think we need to take a nap of some kind. [00:32:33] Speaker E: I think arrest would not be a bad idea. [00:32:35] Speaker D: After you see pond watcher, after the bodies fall out and in the empty tombs, you see something glinting in the back of there. A snake bites you. No yoink grabbing. You grab a plus one halbert. [00:32:54] Speaker I: Oh, hello. [00:32:57] Speaker F: Look at you. [00:32:59] Speaker H: You glint in the darkness of this. [00:33:06] Speaker D: Mean. Once you see pond watcher, reach in and grab something out. You notice that in the other four tombs, there are things glinting. [00:33:15] Speaker E: Four or five. I thought there were six in here. [00:33:16] Speaker D: I'm sorry. In the rest of the tombs, there is stuff glinting. [00:33:20] Speaker F: So what's in the other stuff? [00:33:22] Speaker D: All right, you find well, you found the plus one halberd. [00:33:25] Speaker E: Sorry, that was a real creepy turn. [00:33:26] Speaker D: In Silver's voice you find a plus one rapier speaking. Then you find a plus one great sword, plus one war flail, and two plus one short swords. [00:33:43] Speaker I: Oh, hello. [00:33:48] Speaker F: Well, of that, there's like, at least three of those that it would be good for both of you. Maybe both of you I'm pointing to are champion and barbarian. I'm not a combat guy. If you give it to me, I would just sell it for gold. Actually, it would probably be worth gold, considering how rare these things are. But if someone wants to give me a plus one short sword, fine, but I will probably sell it. [00:34:20] Speaker G: Temid obviously eyes that Rapier, and he says, Let me take a look at that. And he kind of, like, balances it and puts it on one finger, and it balances really well. And then he kind of flips it around a little bit, and he's like, I can get used to this. Anybody mind if I take it? [00:34:34] Speaker B: Twintelen kind of clears his throat. So, on one hand, I have been brought up with the belief that the dead should be remain interred with whatever's left behind. Any disturbing of the dead is tantamount to grave robbery and only really invites bad luck upon those who would do it. On the other hand, there's something very sweet about taking the weapons of destruction of the Hell Knights and using it for good, for putting it to good use. And to be fair, we didn't open these tombs. They kind of sprung open on us. So I think I said all that to say. Normally, my conscience would be against this. [00:35:30] Speaker E: But it's already been disturbed. They've been undead. [00:35:32] Speaker B: But in this specific situation, I'm going to take these swords, and he picks up the two short swords and kind of spins them end over end. And then he nods at temples. Yeah, like pistols. [00:35:46] Speaker G: And he starts shooting them. [00:35:50] Speaker B: No one understands what he's doing. [00:35:51] Speaker F: So you took both of the short swords, is that right? Yes. I'm just trying to make notes. [00:35:56] Speaker B: And he will take his backpack off and make sure that the dogs are okay. [00:36:00] Speaker D: They're fine. Okay. [00:36:02] Speaker I: They probably vomited from all the vaulting. [00:36:04] Speaker D: And spinning, and they look a little dizzy. [00:36:07] Speaker B: You guys okay in here? [00:36:11] Speaker I: How about I take them next? [00:36:14] Speaker D: So Twin Talon took the two short swords. Temid took the rapier. Pond watcher. Took the halberd. [00:36:20] Speaker H: You know, I think I'm going to take the warflail and not the halberd. [00:36:23] Speaker D: I mean, you can take both. [00:36:25] Speaker H: It's very heavy. I have so many weapons now. [00:36:28] Speaker I: We can always come back for them. [00:36:30] Speaker D: And decide, put them all in a bag. [00:36:33] Speaker E: We do have our little stash of stuff upstairs. [00:36:36] Speaker I: Exactly. [00:36:37] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:36:38] Speaker H: Because I can't get rid of Mommy's. Albert correct. [00:36:41] Speaker D: True. [00:36:41] Speaker B: That is the one thing that's kind of funny about Pathfinder and D. D is you have these backgrounds and these characters that have, like, a historical family weapon, and as soon as they find the first piece of loot, they just, like, throw it in the garbage. [00:36:53] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:36:54] Speaker E: I have an Airlord now. [00:36:56] Speaker D: I appreciate that. So how about this? This is our game. We can do whatever we want with it. [00:37:03] Speaker E: Yes. [00:37:04] Speaker D: So how about we make Pond Watchers halberd a plus one? Hmm. [00:37:11] Speaker F: I'm cool with that. [00:37:12] Speaker E: Is everyone we could say Brianna kind of, like, incorporates elements and improves it. [00:37:16] Speaker B: Yeah, because plus one is a rune. [00:37:18] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:37:18] Speaker G: Why can't he just take the rune off and put it onto his mom's? [00:37:21] Speaker D: Yeah, absolutely. So now you have a worthless halberd that you've harvested the rune out of and Mommy's plus one. So make your ancestral halberd a plus one halbert. Because I agree with Matt. That is something know, it happens a lot. It happens a lot. You write this really cool story about a weapon that did something. [00:37:41] Speaker G: So it's a weapon potency rune, right? [00:37:43] Speaker F: Yes. Okay. Yes. [00:37:45] Speaker D: So it becomes a plus one halberd, and that way we can keep Mom's halbert around. [00:37:51] Speaker B: And I think with the rune system, I think you can remove runes. [00:37:54] Speaker D: Yes, I do, too. I think it takes some downtime, but we'll say that we can just we'll fudge that for now because it's our game. [00:38:01] Speaker E: We've got Brienna. [00:38:02] Speaker D: It's our game. [00:38:02] Speaker E: She knows how this works. [00:38:03] Speaker D: She's got quick repair. [00:38:05] Speaker E: Exactly. [00:38:05] Speaker D: Yes. All right. And there's a forge that I probably. [00:38:10] Speaker E: We were just in the armory. [00:38:11] Speaker D: Yeah, the forge is cold, but you could probably start it up if you wanted to. Exactly. All right, so where are you all headed to next? [00:38:16] Speaker F: I want to sleep. [00:38:18] Speaker E: I agree. [00:38:19] Speaker D: Sleep in the tombs. [00:38:21] Speaker I: I think we should perhaps move backwards. I get a very uneasy feeling being here. [00:38:27] Speaker B: Well, there are six vertical beds. No, I wasn't serious. Let's go. [00:38:35] Speaker G: Tam is already sleeping in one of. [00:38:37] Speaker E: Like, there's only so much bad luck. [00:38:39] Speaker D: All right, so are you guys going back up to the room that you stored all your weapons in and whatnot? [00:38:45] Speaker B: I'm all for getting out of this whole area. [00:38:48] Speaker E: Yeah, we can come back in and check it if we want. [00:38:50] Speaker D: Okay. So are you guys going back to get out? [00:38:54] Speaker F: No, we'll go back up to our secret room, make sure the goblins haven't removed too many toes from the how. [00:39:00] Speaker E: Many fingers and toes does Kalmot have now? [00:39:02] Speaker D: Kalmot still has ten fingers, nine toes. [00:39:05] Speaker B: And I will give them another week's worth of rations to make sure it stays, because we're probably going to take a day. [00:39:11] Speaker D: All right. [00:39:12] Speaker G: What's going to happen is, in 30 minutes, they're all going to be super fat and just laying there like we. [00:39:17] Speaker D: Ate the whole ration. [00:39:19] Speaker B: I'd also like to visit Yalecha while we're back. Yeah, go ahead. She's still there, so twin talon will kind of hello, Yalecha. [00:39:30] Speaker D: Hello. [00:39:32] Speaker B: Twin talon will hold out another week's worth of rations to her. [00:39:36] Speaker D: What is this for? [00:39:37] Speaker B: I want to apologize. We got off on a poor foot previously, and it's been brought to my attention that I was not very charitable in our first interaction, so I wanted to give you some food. I know you've been kicked out of your downstairs home, and we've been doing our best to clear that out for you, but it's not quite done yet, so I wanted to give this to you as a way of apology. Also, I don't know how much interaction you have with a bramble brasher goblin. [00:40:03] Speaker D: They're annoying, but they're okay. [00:40:06] Speaker B: I think that they need someone like you to protect them. I think it would be in their best interest to have someone like you around, and they could help take care of you and make sure that you're okay. If you want, we can talk to Helba and see if we can arrange that for you. [00:40:23] Speaker D: That's very interesting. Let me think on it, and I will let you know. [00:40:28] Speaker B: Okay, thank you. And then we'll go back to the secret room and bed the puppies down, make sure they're okay. Maybe take them outside. [00:40:38] Speaker D: Yeah, well, two walkies. [00:40:40] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:40:41] Speaker D: I think some of the stuff in. [00:40:43] Speaker B: Your backpack is a little, I'm sure, spinning around. [00:40:47] Speaker I: If it's okay to add in. Brianna would have kind of followed in his lean against the doorway listening to this interaction. And as twin talon turns to head back to the secret room, shall not say, that was very good of you. Very worthy. I'm impressed. I want to apologize for brushing off earlier. I was upset that I would have gone down in such a manner against she'll kind of, like, almost crumple into herself. She looks oddly vulnerable. It's not very like her. So again, I just want to I'm sorry. [00:41:31] Speaker B: I understand. Emotions were high and adrenaline was running. Pond Watcher, he's a great warrior, and he went down multiple times in that fight. I stayed up by, I think, maybe Desna's, Grace or one of those gods I'm sure is looking down for the ancestors. I've never been real clear on how all that works, but there's no shame in falling in battle to a worthy foe. [00:41:58] Speaker I: Well, them being undead, they're unworthy. [00:42:02] Speaker B: Well, we prevailed. But I think I have something that will make you feel better. And he'll take off his backpack, and he'll reach in and he'll pull out one of the puppies. And I'll be like, well, we haven't named them. And these he'll hold it up, and I'm pretty sure they're both female. [00:42:25] Speaker I: Are they? [00:42:25] Speaker D: Yes. [00:42:26] Speaker I: Oh. [00:42:27] Speaker B: So if you want to name one of them, they'll hand her the Warg Puppy. [00:42:32] Speaker I: Whoever does this fan art, I will love you forever. Brianna's face will light up like a child, and as she carefully takes the War Puppy and smells her, because puppies have such a specific, beautiful smell. We all know that. Oh, so good. And then she says, I think I'll name her Char Labu after Serendre's hound ARCON. How about yours? [00:42:59] Speaker B: Well, I had a thought, and I'll pull the other one out. I was going to name it Kalu, because after your brother, my older brother. It'd be fun to yell at Kalu without getting around the ears. Yeah. But I think I'm going to name her Gregory. [00:43:20] Speaker I: What? [00:43:22] Speaker B: Yeah. Gregory. [00:43:24] Speaker C: Okay. [00:43:26] Speaker B: It's an ancient Chihuahuanti name. As far as you know. [00:43:29] Speaker I: As far as I know, sure. [00:43:32] Speaker B: All right. And he'll put Gregory back in his back, and he's just going to walk out to the outside to take the dogs out. [00:43:38] Speaker I: Brandon will come. [00:43:39] Speaker D: Right. All right, so you all rest for the evening. While that's happening. Is anyone else doing anything? Let me ask. [00:43:47] Speaker E: Yeah, serea's still got her. She started her crafting last time we rested. She's going to be working on that. [00:43:53] Speaker D: Okay. [00:43:54] Speaker G: So Temit actually finds a moment where Silver is by himself. Maybe he's not watching over Pond Watcher. Maybe Pond Watcher's resting, puffing after his. [00:44:03] Speaker F: Rough day, just puffing on his puffing. [00:44:05] Speaker G: On his pipe, and he walks up to him and says, so, thanks for that spiritual link earlier. It helped keep me up. But I thought I saw something when you were when our minds were linked and had to do with an icy landscape. And I know you're from the north and some people that were being attacked by some dragon. It looked like a really big dragon. Is that where you met Palm watcher? [00:44:38] Speaker F: Well, you see, Silver's face sort of not downcast, but he just sort of kind of scowls and says he had a part in that, though he must have just probably been a baby at that point. Do you know much about Arcadia? [00:44:56] Speaker G: No. [00:44:57] Speaker F: Well, it's a long story, but when I was a younger man, believe it or not, I was much stupider than I am today. [00:45:06] Speaker G: Could you find your ass if your hands are in your pockets? [00:45:09] Speaker F: Oh, yes. But I couldn't pour piss out of my boot if I had instructions on the heel. [00:45:15] Speaker G: I thought Tevid laughs pretty hard and kind of slaps him on the shoulder. [00:45:18] Speaker F: It's a long story, but I was brought to Arcadia by some, well, I guess spiritual ancestors of Pond Watcher. And while we were there, it went wrong and there was a worm involved. The thing about worms, that they like to believe themselves as gods, well, it went wrong, and I was the only one that made it out. [00:45:45] Speaker G: No, I'm sorry to hear that. [00:45:46] Speaker F: Well, I'm more sorry for the handful of villages that was involved in that. So by the end of it long story, long, making it a little bit shorter there I was entrusted with the crown of the king of that section of Arcadia, and I had to find the heir, and that was Watcher. [00:46:09] Speaker G: Oh, I see. [00:46:11] Speaker F: Sorry you had to see that. And you don't want to be poking around in my mind, too. [00:46:14] Speaker G: Just I wasn't searching for anything. It just kind of came to me. [00:46:18] Speaker F: Well, if it happens again no, I try not to try to look away. [00:46:25] Speaker G: Don't think I could close my eyes and not see what's going on in my mind, if you know what I mean. [00:46:29] Speaker F: Yeah, that's true. [00:46:31] Speaker G: But yeah, I mean, it's kind of a thing. We've all been through a lot in our past, but sometimes we have more in common than we think, even if it's just the pain that we've been through before we met up. [00:46:46] Speaker F: Yeah. I believe you. If I can give you something that's been weighing on my mind you're a religious man. Following Kate and Kaylee and all that. These worms. I think there'll be some oil wear along this quest we're on here. They might try to tempt us and get them to follow them, worship them, but we should never fall into these false gods. Stick to your faith. I worry about it. I worry about all of our faiths and our souls messing with the undead and things that should be left alone. [00:47:21] Speaker G: Is that what you saw? [00:47:23] Speaker F: I've seen that and a hell of a lot more. But I don't need to go into it now. We don't got all night. [00:47:32] Speaker G: Maybe we could talk about it over some drinks later when we're a little safer. [00:47:36] Speaker A: Probably. [00:47:37] Speaker F: I could use a couple of shots of something stiff. [00:47:40] Speaker G: I know exactly where you need to go. Come on down to Cadence. [00:47:45] Speaker E: Gay. [00:47:46] Speaker B: I thought this was going to be a cholesterol joke. [00:47:51] Speaker D: All right, pond Watcher, what are you doing? [00:47:55] Speaker H: I think Pond Watcher will have gone outside also to be alone. And he'll brood on the moors and he takes out the halberd with the new magical rune in it, and he kneels in front of it in the moonlight with his shirt off. No, I'm just kidding. [00:48:19] Speaker E: No, you're not. [00:48:21] Speaker H: I see it very clearly in my mind. Frost dripping off of his body, his rippling bicep. And he'll say a prayer to callistria his God and ask her for guidance in seeking his revenge and the hope that he can live up to his mother's example, which he feels he has not really done thus far. And to stop rolling. So many fucking natural ones. [00:48:53] Speaker D: All right. And soraya is you said she's got. [00:48:58] Speaker E: Her little alchemy set out. She's doing her blood magic. And Jasper is with her, as always, kind of rolling around and handing her things, hopping back and forth, playing with anything shiny he can find. If anyone wants to talk to her, she's there. If not, she's doing her thing. [00:49:18] Speaker D: All right, so you all camp for the night and you each take your watch. It's a very uneventful night. The longer you've been in this citadel, the more it feels kind of like your citadel and your home. And you're just so used to these places, but you're still not done and you still need to find things and figure out what's going on. What caused those skeleton or those whites to rise up? What caused the anti necromancy wards to go off? [00:50:00] Speaker I: Yeah, it wasn't us. [00:50:01] Speaker D: You all rest for the evening gain, whatever the benefit of a restful night's sleep is, and you regain all your spells and your Regents reagents. I know what I said. [00:50:15] Speaker E: Then I'm going to start using them if I have Regents. Hello. Sorry. I am the regent of the east. There we go. [00:50:27] Speaker D: I've got my two, so you get all of your reagents back. And after a restful night's sleep, despite dealing with almost dying multiple times, you all level up. [00:50:46] Speaker B: I'm sorry, did you say the fourth level? [00:50:48] Speaker G: No, I think it's the 25th. [00:50:50] Speaker E: Yes. [00:50:50] Speaker D: Level three. [00:50:51] Speaker B: Level three. [00:50:53] Speaker D: With that, we will end here and pick it up next week. [00:51:02] Speaker C: After our heroes barely escape with their lives. What will happen after they rest? What more can they find in these catacombs? Will twin talon go and apologize to more people?
