Welcome to the 61st episode of the Cracked Die podcast. [00:02:29] Speaker B: I'm still here. [00:02:30] Speaker C: Yay. [00:02:32] Speaker A: Everyone's still standing. [00:02:34] Speaker B: Nope, I'm laying down. [00:02:37] Speaker A: That's true. That's true. [00:02:38] Speaker B: Previously on the Cracked Die podcast. [00:02:41] Speaker A: Our heroes are in trouble. They've been fighting some saba, sans Chirika and boggarts. One of the boggarts managed to cast a fog on the group, causing them to miss wildly. Will they be able to survive? Find out the answers to these questions and more on this episode of the Cracked Die podcast. Let's get back to this TPK epically easy combat that you guys have been a part of. You're still in the mistake. And Brianna, yes, it is your turn. [00:03:15] Speaker D: As I hope of reaction, she will turn over her shoulder to where she suspects are and asks, do you have any healing left for Tema? I don't think he's doing too well. He sounded like he got rather hurt in the fog. [00:03:31] Speaker C: I should be able to make more. [00:03:33] Speaker D: Okay, so she will take a diagonal step between things, and yes, she will be flanking them, but her job is to get hit. And she's hoping that the Churuka will focus on her, and she'll keep yelling, hey, over here, you stupid monkeys. And she will keep hitting the one that she's been slowly chipping away. [00:03:54] Speaker A: All right. Okay. [00:03:56] Speaker D: Here goes nothing. I was a 20. [00:03:59] Speaker A: That is a mission. [00:04:01] Speaker D: You know, I have. I've been hoarding these hero points. [00:04:05] Speaker A: Let's just. [00:04:06] Speaker D: Let's just use one, all right? [00:04:08] Speaker B: Make it rain. [00:04:09] Speaker D: Let's do it. [00:04:10] Speaker C: How many have we already spent on this combat? [00:04:14] Speaker A: That is a natural one. That is everything critical, miss. [00:04:21] Speaker D: I hate everything that is. [00:04:23] Speaker B: So this combat. [00:04:24] Speaker D: Yeah, it has been bad. [00:04:26] Speaker E: God of luck again. Desna. [00:04:28] Speaker B: Desna. Maybe. [00:04:29] Speaker D: Uh, I think so, yes. [00:04:31] Speaker E: Fuck you, Desna. [00:04:31] Speaker D: Run, Ray. [00:04:36] Speaker A: All right, let's see what happens with your critical miscard. [00:04:43] Speaker D: Wrong end. If you're using a slashing weapon, you take one d, six slashing damage, and one persistent bleed damage. [00:04:53] Speaker C: God damn it. [00:04:55] Speaker D: I hate everything. [00:04:56] Speaker A: Oh, that's not good. [00:04:59] Speaker E: The smoke is very confused. [00:05:01] Speaker D: Too confusing. [00:05:02] Speaker C: Does anyone else think maybe we should just run out of the smoke and deal with the church all later? [00:05:07] Speaker D: I mean, the hope is that we can. But the minute we move, they all have attacks of opportunity, correct? [00:05:15] Speaker B: So, yeah, I mean, they hit pond watcher when he went by. So I can only assume that if I stand up, three monkeys will beat the shit out of me, right? Like, on my turn. So it's gonna be a lot of on the ground flailing from me until they're dead. [00:05:31] Speaker E: That is one of the funniest ways. [00:05:33] Speaker B: To die, though, just standing up in combat. [00:05:39] Speaker C: It's just that scene out of 2001 space. [00:05:42] Speaker A: Just curb stomp you. Oh, I'm having a good time. I don't know about you guys. [00:05:49] Speaker D: Cool. So for my very last action, she will raise her shield, say, come at me, you stupid monkeys. In hopes that they will all focus on her so her friends can, I don't know, get away. I don't know what's happening anymore. The dinosaur goes, come on, Denver. [00:06:06] Speaker A: So it runs them over. So, yes, the monkeys get two attacks of opportunity. So let's see. 1st. 134. But it was in the fog. [00:06:18] Speaker D: Good memory, Shawn. Good job. [00:06:20] Speaker C: Finally. [00:06:21] Speaker A: 14. So Dino takes 13 points of slashing from the first one, then the second one. [00:06:30] Speaker D: Oh, my God. Sean, stop it. [00:06:32] Speaker A: 37. But does it hit in the fog? 20 more points slashing. [00:06:40] Speaker E: Ghost of twin talons. Gonna be so upset about this. [00:06:42] Speaker A: I know, right? Well, good news is the boggard doesn't have an attack opportunity yet. So the dinosaur will trample for, what is it? Two d eight plus ten doesn't have to target. So roll the six and a five for 2021 points of trample damage. So as you hear this dinosaur run out of the mist towards the things that has been shooting at you, all, you hear croak like screams of fear. [00:07:23] Speaker E: Yay. [00:07:25] Speaker A: So, you know, that's probably not bad. However, the dinosaur does take one d four bleed. [00:07:35] Speaker B: Why? Why is it bleeding? [00:07:37] Speaker A: Because of the Churica. Now it tries to save on a. For a 1520. It's no longer bleeding. [00:07:47] Speaker C: Yes, that's good. [00:07:49] Speaker E: Yay. [00:07:50] Speaker A: But I will pull the curtain back a little bit. He only has 16 hit points left. [00:07:56] Speaker D: No Denver. [00:07:58] Speaker B: I believe you, Sean. [00:08:00] Speaker A: Yeah, you should. [00:08:02] Speaker B: Did you do damage to these boggards? Are these, uh, any. [00:08:05] Speaker E: Everybody yet? [00:08:05] Speaker A: Yeah, I already did. [00:08:07] Speaker B: All right. And they're still up. None are gone. [00:08:11] Speaker E: Sacrifice yourself to save us, random dinosaur. [00:08:15] Speaker D: No. [00:08:16] Speaker C: Well, I was gonna say, twin, is it you that has that scroll of dinosaur form? [00:08:21] Speaker B: I do have a scroll of dinosaur form. Holy shit. [00:08:23] Speaker C: I forgot about that. I was looking at that. [00:08:26] Speaker E: I've been looking through all the magic stuff and I'm like, I can't, right? [00:08:29] Speaker C: I'm like, I'm. I might pull out that black powder cake serpent. No, the jade serpent figurine. [00:08:37] Speaker A: Just a shot of ray of frost at the dinosaur. For a 30, that will hit. No. For six points of damage. Still up. And then the boggart is going to hop back. Hammett is up. Now, this is probably without any hyperbole or exaggeration. The most important D 20 rolls that I will have all day for you. He is. [00:09:09] Speaker D: Don't fuck it up, Shawn. [00:09:10] Speaker A: No promises. Going to attempt to do a three action group heal because everyone. But, well, surreal a little bit needs it. [00:09:22] Speaker C: Yeah, I'm really not that bad. [00:09:24] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:09:25] Speaker E: And he is currently at one hit point. Is that correct? [00:09:29] Speaker A: Currently at one hit point. He will exclude the churica that hit him just because, you know. Yeah, so sorry. He will not exclude the churica that hit him because he sees the Churica surrounding his friends. And those are more frightening to him than the one in front of him. So divine font heal. Rolling it. All right, so he's going to heal for 31 provided he rolls higher than a five on this single D 20. And that is an 18. So everybody heals 31 damage. [00:10:10] Speaker C: Yay. [00:10:12] Speaker A: For real this time. [00:10:13] Speaker B: Oh, crap. [00:10:15] Speaker A: Oh, timid. Coming through in. The problem is this one true recall also heals up one. [00:10:27] Speaker D: Sorry, can you ping which one? [00:10:29] Speaker A: The one directly in front of him. Now, he is still bleeding, so he takes one d four bleed at the end. Unless does heal. No, it does not, does it? [00:10:42] Speaker B: Unless it takes him to full hit points. Per the rules, that persistent damage just lasts until either you're dead or you roll a 15. Like, that's it. [00:10:50] Speaker A: All right, but I can. I will give a D 20 to. If you have persistent damage on you right now, you may roll a D 20 to see if you heal. [00:11:03] Speaker B: I'll take you up on that. [00:11:04] Speaker D: Now. [00:11:04] Speaker A: Or now? Because I'm gonna say that healing helps. Temid does not. Temid will still take a D four. [00:11:12] Speaker B: I also know just one. [00:11:14] Speaker D: I don't think I do either. [00:11:15] Speaker A: Brianna continues to bleed, and so does pondwatcher, and so does twin Talon. Wow. [00:11:24] Speaker B: But at the end of Temmet's turn, he gets to make another check. [00:11:27] Speaker A: Yes, he does. So at the end of his turn, he is going to roll a D 20 flat check 15 or higher. Not there. It's a ten. You're so bad at this, guys. [00:11:38] Speaker E: Thanks for nothing, caden. Kayleen, you idiot. [00:11:42] Speaker B: How quickly that turned. [00:11:44] Speaker A: You're the best. I hate you. So this boggard loses two actions on its turn. [00:11:52] Speaker B: Which boggard is that? [00:11:54] Speaker A: One of them, outside of the fog. [00:11:56] Speaker B: Okay. [00:11:57] Speaker E: One who nauseated itself. [00:11:58] Speaker A: Yes. Twin Talon, it is your turn. [00:12:03] Speaker B: All right, I gotta do something about these. There's too many motherfucking boggarts in this. Or so many motherfucking churica in this motherfucking fog. That's so. I do like the idea of using the scroll of dinosaur form, but it'll be an action to draw it, an action to cast it. And both of those would be attack opportunity drawing actions. So twin Talon is going to quick draw the dog slicer off the ground where it fell right next to him and attack the Chiricah here, which I think is taken. It just took damage from the dinosaur. It take damage from Brienne? A couple times, yes. [00:12:43] Speaker A: The northwest shuriker. [00:12:45] Speaker B: Yeah, the one northwest of me. So I'm gonna hope for the best. And I do have one hero point left. [00:12:53] Speaker A: All right. [00:12:54] Speaker B: I hope I don't need it, but we'll see. Is this. Is this the time it turns around? [00:12:58] Speaker A: Is it? [00:12:59] Speaker B: No fucking natural one. What the shit? [00:13:02] Speaker A: Is a critical failure. [00:13:03] Speaker B: Well, I'm gonna use my one hero point like I just predicted I would. [00:13:08] Speaker A: But you can't roll worse. You literally cannot roll worse. [00:13:11] Speaker B: It's true. I can only waste it to do nothing. 34. [00:13:17] Speaker A: 34. Will critically hit this. Turika. Thank goodness. [00:13:25] Speaker B: Okay, first. Okay, so it will be doing 18 damage. Is my base damage. Severed spine. Critical effect. The target must succeed at a fortitude save or be paralyzed until healed. [00:13:41] Speaker A: Um, so you do double damage? [00:13:43] Speaker B: I do. 36. [00:13:45] Speaker A: 36. You know what can't be paralyzed? [00:13:49] Speaker B: A dead jurica. [00:13:50] Speaker A: A dead jurika. [00:13:52] Speaker B: All right. [00:13:52] Speaker A: Yes. [00:13:53] Speaker B: All right. One down, 800 to go. [00:13:56] Speaker A: One down, three left. [00:13:59] Speaker B: Except the dinosaurs just run into a group of new people. It's like. It's like he's a rat investigator or something. [00:14:08] Speaker D: Come back though, right? [00:14:09] Speaker B: Don't know what I'm talking about. Check out our twitch show. Twitch tv cracked. Die or crack. Eddie, if you're trying to figure out how to spell that. Okay, so twin Talon will then lash out against the. I'm trying to think. I think the churica between me and Pond Watcher has taken more damage than the one to the north. [00:14:30] Speaker E: I think you're right. [00:14:31] Speaker B: So they'll try to attack that 123 and it is flat footed. [00:14:36] Speaker A: 23 against. Flat footed will hit. Okay, and do you get sneak attack on that? You do. [00:14:43] Speaker B: So 23 damage, right? [00:14:45] Speaker A: It's still there, but it is badly hurt. [00:14:49] Speaker D: Good work. Yes. [00:14:51] Speaker A: Okay, one more action. [00:14:53] Speaker E: Do dinosaur. Dinosaur form. [00:15:00] Speaker B: Yeah, I could do that. Yeah. You know what? Twintalon will call the dinosaur back to us. [00:15:06] Speaker A: Okay. All right. [00:15:07] Speaker B: Off chance he survives and is alive. [00:15:09] Speaker A: Next turn. [00:15:11] Speaker B: Poor dinosaur. 25 plus two if he's likes me or is prone to do the thing I want him to do. [00:15:18] Speaker A: So we'll see what happens on his turn. All right, well, one of the boggards gets to go hops backward. [00:15:25] Speaker B: Two hops this time. [00:15:27] Speaker A: Yes, it does. Saraya, it is your turn. [00:15:32] Speaker C: Okay, now that Tevit is. [00:15:34] Speaker A: Oh, wait a minute. Hang on a second. I need to roll back. Hey, twin Talon, you remember those two really good hits you got? [00:15:40] Speaker B: Yes. [00:15:41] Speaker E: Uh oh. [00:15:41] Speaker A: You're in the fog, right? [00:15:42] Speaker B: I don't know. [00:15:43] Speaker C: I'm below it. [00:15:44] Speaker B: Fog rises, right? [00:15:46] Speaker A: Can you roll to flat checks? No. [00:15:50] Speaker D: Come on. [00:15:51] Speaker E: Like a firefighter. [00:15:53] Speaker A: Sorry. [00:15:54] Speaker B: 20 and a four. [00:15:55] Speaker A: So one hits and the second one misses. So I'm gonna take away the. I will keep the crit, but I will take away the normal. Normal hit. [00:16:07] Speaker B: Boo. Well, actually, now we've got something else. I'm asseted. [00:16:13] Speaker A: Yeah, you are. So go ahead and let's see. You take one d. Four. Four. So you take two acid. Now go ahead and give me a save. [00:16:23] Speaker B: Nope, nope. I'm still taking. [00:16:25] Speaker A: Still taking that damage. Now, saraya, now you may go. [00:16:30] Speaker C: Finally. Okay, now that Tembin is no longer in dire straits. [00:16:35] Speaker A: He's still not great, but. [00:16:37] Speaker C: No, but I'm thinking I will probably take care of the churica behind him because it's a lot of actions for me to actually try and give him a healing potion. So, yeah, I'm gonna aim for that guy right behind him. There. [00:16:49] Speaker B: There should be, like, a potion where you could throw it and smash it in the temmet's face and it heals him. [00:16:55] Speaker C: I really wish that's how it worked. Like, I really wish I could make, like, my elixirs of life. Like bombs. [00:17:04] Speaker A: You deal one d four damage, but you heal one d six. [00:17:08] Speaker C: No, you heal three d six. [00:17:09] Speaker B: I was gonna be a better print off than that. [00:17:11] Speaker E: Isn't there. Isn't there, like, some sort of, like, alchemist, like, injector gun in Pathfinder, second edition? [00:17:19] Speaker C: I'm actually seriously considering getting a blow dart because I have a lot of injury problems. [00:17:24] Speaker E: I feel like I heard about this item existing. [00:17:28] Speaker C: I have a new formula that I got at 7th level called a dread ampule. [00:17:32] Speaker A: And what does this dread ampule do? [00:17:35] Speaker C: Mental damage. [00:17:36] Speaker A: Oh, yes. [00:17:38] Speaker C: Okay, so that's a 30. [00:17:40] Speaker A: Yeah, that will hit. [00:17:41] Speaker C: Sadly, it will not crit, but it's going to do eleven mental damage. Two mental splash on a hit, the target becomes frightened one. [00:17:52] Speaker D: Oh, that's awesome. [00:17:56] Speaker A: So frightened makes this chiricah. Have to use takes a penalty equal to this status, the value. So it's taking a minus one on all of its rolls. So it was a crate. [00:18:10] Speaker C: It would have been frightened too, but alas. [00:18:12] Speaker A: Yeah. And that was your first action? [00:18:16] Speaker C: That was my first action. Um, let's try it again because I've still. I've got some pretty decent, uh, actually, no, it was make and throw, so I'm actually going to use one of my pre prepared bombs then, to do number two. So let's go with our good old alchemist fire for an eleven. That's not one. I have one more hero point. Hey, like I said, I have crit failed too many times. Not standing for it anymore. [00:18:48] Speaker A: 1414 will fail, but not critically fail. [00:18:55] Speaker C: Okay, fine. So does it take splash damage? [00:18:58] Speaker A: It does. It still takes two splash. [00:19:00] Speaker C: It still takes two splash. [00:19:02] Speaker A: It is the churica in front of temid's turn. [00:19:06] Speaker D: Oh, jeez. [00:19:07] Speaker A: Being frightened, it will move. It runs a little bit away. The churica between twin Talon and Pond watcher, with blood lust in its eyes, swings at Pondwatcher 35. For fuck's sake. [00:19:29] Speaker E: That is a crit. [00:19:30] Speaker A: 28 points of damage and you are bleeding again. [00:19:36] Speaker D: Can I? [00:19:38] Speaker A: You are within range of him. [00:19:40] Speaker D: Am I? I am. I'll liberate for minus nine. [00:19:45] Speaker A: All right, so take nine points back. [00:19:47] Speaker E: Hey, thanks. [00:19:49] Speaker A: Of course it's then going to swing its trident at you again. [00:19:56] Speaker D: But I antagonized it. [00:19:58] Speaker A: Natural 20. Natural 20 for a 35. Yeah. Oh, and I rolled really well with that damage. [00:20:08] Speaker E: Max damage and an eight. [00:20:13] Speaker A: So you're taking 48 points of damage. [00:20:17] Speaker D: I take it back. Can I. Can I liberate on this one? [00:20:23] Speaker A: Doesn't matter. Yeah, the math still works. [00:20:27] Speaker E: For the first time. For the first time ever, pond Watcher is unconscious and dying. [00:20:36] Speaker A: Oh, no. Well, the good news is you move before for this character. Now. [00:20:46] Speaker D: Fuck. [00:20:47] Speaker A: So you have some time. [00:20:49] Speaker E: Sorry, I'm not listening to you. I'm unconscious. [00:20:51] Speaker A: Oh, okay. [00:20:52] Speaker B: Good. [00:20:56] Speaker A: Now, the last attack of this Chirika swings at Brianna. [00:21:02] Speaker D: Thank you. [00:21:03] Speaker A: 23. Nope. Clangs off the shield. This chiricah has acid damage. So would Saraya like to roll one d four it? [00:21:16] Speaker C: If it's the persistent, it's two d six. [00:21:19] Speaker A: Oh. Two d six. I'm sorry, Gil. It. Eleven points of acid. Actually. Wait a minute, pond watcher, you might not be down. [00:21:32] Speaker D: That's right. [00:21:34] Speaker C: World concealment. [00:21:36] Speaker A: Three d, twenty s. Two d, twenty s. So the first one, an 18 which was the first attack, and a one which was the critical hit. [00:21:51] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:21:52] Speaker A: Yourself. [00:21:53] Speaker C: 48. [00:21:54] Speaker A: Back up. 48 points of hit. Points. [00:21:57] Speaker B: Whoa. [00:21:59] Speaker C: Sorry. [00:22:03] Speaker E: I had a vision of something bad. [00:22:07] Speaker A: Oh, now you are still up and running, so let me put you back in the initiative order. Now, this churica is going to try and stop the acid from blurting. From blurting their. Blurting their penis off. But it fails. [00:22:31] Speaker B: Good. That's what it gets. [00:22:33] Speaker A: The other chiricah on the other side of Brianna is now going to attack with its trident. 39 is a critical hit. All right, man. Imagine if you guys were named. You're going to take 34 points of slashing damage, and you are. You're already bleeding. [00:22:55] Speaker D: Mmm. Yes, I am. [00:22:57] Speaker A: So then it's a second attack. [00:23:01] Speaker D: Wait, hang on, mister. Sean. [00:23:06] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Two d. Twenty s to see if I actually hit you. [00:23:11] Speaker E: You cast the spell. [00:23:12] Speaker A: It's your fault. I know. 15. [00:23:16] Speaker D: Okay, so how much damage was it? Sorry. [00:23:20] Speaker A: So the first 139 was 17 times two. So 34 points for the first one. And then a 32 to hit you. [00:23:32] Speaker D: Yes, that does hit me. [00:23:34] Speaker A: Okay, that's 18 points of damage. [00:23:37] Speaker D: Okay. [00:23:39] Speaker A: And then. Still up, bitch. Third attack isn't a natural one. [00:23:46] Speaker B: All right. [00:23:46] Speaker A: That's right, cars. I'm drawn a card. I'm drawing a card right now. And it says your enemies are concealed from you until the end of your next turn. [00:24:02] Speaker E: Ooh, yeah. [00:24:04] Speaker B: Lame. [00:24:04] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. Already concealed. But I didn't do 19 points of damage, so. [00:24:10] Speaker C: That is true. [00:24:11] Speaker A: You gotta look at the positives right now, because it's definitely not most of your hit points. Those are almost in the negative. [00:24:18] Speaker C: Mm hmm. [00:24:20] Speaker A: All right, so a boggard moves back. A new contestant has entered the battlefield. [00:24:28] Speaker B: Who the hell's this? [00:24:30] Speaker A: It's a good question. [00:24:31] Speaker B: Where'd you come from? [00:24:33] Speaker E: Where is this happening? [00:24:34] Speaker B: Is this next to the dinosaur? [00:24:36] Speaker E: Son of a bee sting. [00:24:39] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't know where he came from. [00:24:41] Speaker D: This guy. [00:24:42] Speaker B: This guy. [00:24:44] Speaker D: I thought this guy running. [00:24:47] Speaker A: Yeah, that guy is running. That's not who entered the field. [00:24:50] Speaker B: Sorry. [00:24:50] Speaker A: If you will please zoom out on your map, you'll see some new. New people. [00:24:58] Speaker B: Where? [00:24:59] Speaker A: Pond watcher. [00:25:00] Speaker E: What? [00:25:01] Speaker A: On the brink of death? It is now your turn. [00:25:04] Speaker E: I don't understand what's happening. [00:25:07] Speaker D: I thought he healed back stuff. [00:25:10] Speaker E: He did steal one crit away from death, apparently. Okay, so since I did not actually go unconscious, I did not lose my rage. [00:25:22] Speaker A: Correct. [00:25:23] Speaker E: So I'm going to strike the one in between myself and twin Talon yet again. [00:25:27] Speaker A: Okay, it is flat footed. [00:25:28] Speaker E: 35. [00:25:30] Speaker A: That's a cry crit. [00:25:33] Speaker B: You do more than damage listed, right? Cause you're still raging. [00:25:35] Speaker E: That is correct. [00:25:36] Speaker B: Yes. [00:25:36] Speaker A: Yes. [00:25:37] Speaker E: I draw a crit card. Mmm. Gory. The target is sickened one. [00:25:44] Speaker A: Okay, and how much damage? [00:25:45] Speaker E: Presumably still double damage, eh? [00:25:47] Speaker B: Yeah, if it doesn't say anything, it's double damage. [00:25:49] Speaker A: So you're at 42 points of damage so far. [00:25:53] Speaker E: 42. 40 slashing damage. Plus eight cold damage. Or is it doubled as well? [00:25:58] Speaker B: It is doubled as well. [00:26:00] Speaker A: Yes. [00:26:01] Speaker E: 42 plus 16 damage. [00:26:04] Speaker A: Goodness. That's 58 points of damage. [00:26:08] Speaker D: Kill it. [00:26:09] Speaker A: And yes, it is a gory kill. Yes, you kill, the Churica goes through. [00:26:16] Speaker E: Your face and head. [00:26:18] Speaker A: All right, that was your first action? [00:26:20] Speaker E: That's my first action, so. Oh, boy. Boy. Pondwatcher zooms his map out four to five times to figure out what the hell is going on. [00:26:29] Speaker B: Still one more Churica next to us. [00:26:31] Speaker E: Yes, I think that is well in hand. Ooh. Hmm. Oh, they're just out of range. I am going to sprint out of the fog. [00:26:42] Speaker A: Wait, what? [00:26:44] Speaker D: No, I thought you were regrouping. [00:26:47] Speaker E: Okay, I'm not going further than this. [00:26:50] Speaker A: Why don't we do this? [00:26:51] Speaker E: Actually, no, I'll stay here. I'm gonna swing at this one. This boggard that's near us, still near the raging dinosaur. That's gotta be a miss with a 15. [00:27:01] Speaker A: That is a regular miss. [00:27:02] Speaker E: Okay. And he stands to brace himself as the presumably anchor in a retreat. Action. [00:27:12] Speaker A: Okay, so the boggart in front of you sees you finally. And its tongue lashes out at you. [00:27:20] Speaker E: I didn't expect that. [00:27:21] Speaker B: It swallows you whole. [00:27:23] Speaker A: Does a 22 hit you? [00:27:25] Speaker E: No. [00:27:26] Speaker A: All right, so the tongue hits you and does not actually lap around you. [00:27:31] Speaker E: Ew. [00:27:31] Speaker B: Just licks you 10ft away. [00:27:33] Speaker A: Licks you. [00:27:33] Speaker B: Hey, what's up? [00:27:34] Speaker C: Hot. [00:27:35] Speaker A: Oh, and you hear it croaking in Mwangi. Sorry. In abyssal, if you speak it. [00:27:42] Speaker E: I don't. [00:27:43] Speaker A: And it touches the staff that it's clutched in its hands. [00:27:49] Speaker E: You're a weird, gross guy. [00:27:51] Speaker A: That's its turn. Oh, actually, pond watcher, can you roll a two? Okay, because you're still bleeding and you're still acidic, so you're taking three points of bleed and two points of acid. [00:28:08] Speaker E: Ow. [00:28:09] Speaker A: Next up on the turn order is Brianna. It is your turn. [00:28:15] Speaker D: Um, fun? What the fuck are you doing? [00:28:20] Speaker A: There's more running out. [00:28:21] Speaker E: We should retreat. Oh, retreat. [00:28:27] Speaker A: The retreat. [00:28:28] Speaker E: The other way. [00:28:29] Speaker D: Yes, the other way. Good lord. [00:28:33] Speaker B: Uh, so did those guys come out of that building? [00:28:35] Speaker A: Yep. [00:28:36] Speaker B: Okay. [00:28:37] Speaker E: Oh, boy. [00:28:37] Speaker D: Wait, I also need to zoom out. What fucking building? [00:28:41] Speaker B: To the east of the dinosaur where the bogards are, where the. Looks like sleeping bags. A bunch of people are maybe unconscious. I can't tell what's going on there. There's a building. I can only kind of see the door. So I'm assuming that's what that is and came out of there. They don't look like the guys we're fighting now. [00:28:56] Speaker D: Maybe they're friendly. No. [00:28:59] Speaker B: If throwing knives. Such a weird idea. [00:29:02] Speaker D: Cool. Rihanna will just continue hacking and slashing, hoping that her friends will start moving back. If anyone should be the last person to keep the door open, it should be Brianna, I think. I also have. What's it called? Die hard, which, yes, it will keep me up a bit longer. So she's just gonna keep whacking away at this turaga in front of her. [00:29:24] Speaker A: All right. [00:29:24] Speaker D: Okay. [00:29:26] Speaker C: 30. [00:29:26] Speaker D: Let me roll concealment 13. [00:29:29] Speaker A: That will hit. [00:29:30] Speaker D: Excellent. Take 14, damage. [00:29:33] Speaker A: All right, I will. Why not? [00:29:35] Speaker D: Let's try it again. [00:29:35] Speaker A: And why not? [00:29:36] Speaker D: You know what? I feel like try to get into, like, where her brain is right now. Right. She just lost a friend. He was taken away into the jungle. She just witnessed, like, her party go down, come back up several times. She's been hit quite a few times as well. Like, I always imagine her, like, cackling maniacally at this point. Just, like, trying to scare the pants off of this churica and like, clanging her sword on her shield. And she will take her second action to smite it. [00:30:11] Speaker E: Ooh. [00:30:12] Speaker D: And then roll. How's it 21 with everything that is. [00:30:17] Speaker A: Being affected on it? It hits. [00:30:19] Speaker D: Excellent. Take twelve damage, plus take an additional for good damage. [00:30:27] Speaker A: Okay. It's still standing. [00:30:29] Speaker E: Concealment. [00:30:30] Speaker A: Oh, right. [00:30:30] Speaker D: My bad. [00:30:31] Speaker A: Concealment. Yes. [00:30:32] Speaker D: So it might not. [00:30:33] Speaker A: No, no, no, no. [00:30:35] Speaker D: Don't hit. Never mind. Wait, it is a D 20 dough. [00:30:38] Speaker A: It is. Am I getting a. Oh, delicious, delicious. Hero points. [00:30:44] Speaker D: Well, it counts. Come on. Come on, dice. Why does it always do that? [00:30:50] Speaker A: It is a thing. Three. So it still misses. Let me just add some hit points back. Sorry to see it. You hate to see it. [00:30:59] Speaker D: No, no, no. Don't be, don't be sorry. We need to keep ourselves honest. Do I have to roll anything for persistent leads? [00:31:06] Speaker A: Yes. Yeah. Well you don't. I do. [00:31:09] Speaker D: Ah, I see. [00:31:10] Speaker A: You take two points of bleed. Now roll it. D 20. And you need a 15 or higher to stop bleeding. [00:31:16] Speaker D: Well, we'll see how those fucking go. [00:31:19] Speaker A: Yep. [00:31:20] Speaker D: Fuck me. [00:31:21] Speaker B: So three again. At least you're consistent. [00:31:24] Speaker A: The dinosaur hearing you call it back, will run. Trampol stopping there and crunch both a boggard and the churica unless they make their reflex save. Does it make the reflex save? And, oh, critically, fails. [00:31:46] Speaker B: So it tries to get out of the way and like jumps under its foot as it's coming down. [00:31:49] Speaker A: Yep. [00:31:51] Speaker D: Tries to cling at it. [00:31:52] Speaker B: Yeah, just holding onto the bottom of the foot as it's getting walked on. [00:31:55] Speaker A: Oh, no. 20 points of damage. [00:31:58] Speaker D: Yes. [00:31:59] Speaker B: Or 40 to the other guy, right? [00:32:01] Speaker A: Yeah. 40 to the squish. To the squished boggart. And 20 to the chuterca is the boggart's turn. [00:32:10] Speaker B: Which boggart? [00:32:10] Speaker A: Or one of the Boggart's turn? [00:32:12] Speaker B: One of the many boggards is. [00:32:14] Speaker A: It just pulls back and starts chanting in a language you don't know. And that's its turn. All right, what would you like Temid to do? Would you like him to heal everyone or would you like him to retreat. [00:32:27] Speaker B: Make with the healing? [00:32:28] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:32:29] Speaker A: All right. Temid will attempt a divine font one more time. [00:32:33] Speaker D: He also gets pond watcher. [00:32:35] Speaker B: He can't. [00:32:36] Speaker D: Maybe he can step. [00:32:37] Speaker A: Uh, not if he wants to do the three action. [00:32:40] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:32:40] Speaker D: Oh. [00:32:41] Speaker B: So it's either he stays where he is or he only gets one person. [00:32:44] Speaker E: Mistakes were made. [00:32:46] Speaker C: It's okay. [00:32:47] Speaker A: Get everyone else back. Let's see if it actually works as he goes. Mu. Oh, no. [00:32:53] Speaker B: Fuck. [00:32:54] Speaker A: On his character sheet, he had two. We spent one. I'm spending the last one to reroll hero point for him. [00:33:01] Speaker B: Sounds good. [00:33:02] Speaker A: Four. [00:33:03] Speaker E: Not enough. [00:33:05] Speaker B: No, that's enough, right? [00:33:06] Speaker A: No, it's a five. Oh, but it's not targeted. [00:33:09] Speaker B: No, it's a burst. You're talking about the. You're talking about the definition. Aoe is just works the deafness that you're. [00:33:13] Speaker A: Oh, yes. Digging around with. [00:33:14] Speaker B: I don't know what the. [00:33:16] Speaker A: Yeah. So no healing for anyone. [00:33:19] Speaker B: That's four rolls. Because it was the first, the first heal that failed and failed, and then the second one that failed and failed. So both of his hero points have been used for no effect. [00:33:30] Speaker C: Yeah, I see how it is. [00:33:32] Speaker D: Sean is very good at rolling when he has to kill us, but when. [00:33:36] Speaker C: He has to help us. [00:33:37] Speaker A: I'm rolling. [00:33:38] Speaker D: Are these secrets? [00:33:39] Speaker A: I'm rolling in per. I'm rolling in public. [00:33:43] Speaker C: You can see all of the dice rolls. [00:33:45] Speaker B: I see nothing. [00:33:48] Speaker A: Well, twin Talon, it is your turn. [00:33:50] Speaker B: Okay. Twin Talon will lash out at the Churkaw's ankles. That's next thing. The last one's still in the fog with us. [00:33:58] Speaker A: Yes. [00:33:59] Speaker D: You should go. [00:34:00] Speaker B: I can't go without it being dead. 34 to hit. It's flat footed. [00:34:04] Speaker A: That will critically hit. Okay, so you're doing how much damage? [00:34:09] Speaker B: What a lame attack. So it does 13 normal damage. And let's see what the crit is. [00:34:14] Speaker D: Oh, also rolls in. [00:34:15] Speaker C: Sorry. [00:34:16] Speaker B: Let me get excited about the crit before I lose it. Surprise opening. You gain one action that you can use before the end of your turn to use an attack action against the target. [00:34:26] Speaker D: Okay. Yeah, come on. [00:34:27] Speaker A: Except. [00:34:28] Speaker B: Except that it's. I'm gonna roll a crit fail when I do that. But let's, let's check my concealment. I still want to hit it. 15. [00:34:36] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:34:36] Speaker B: So it still does double damage. It's not single damage or anything. [00:34:39] Speaker A: So it's taking 26, right? [00:34:41] Speaker B: Correct. Are you sure it's ten? Plus one. Plus one. Plus one. Okay, this revolver is empty. Okay, great. So then twin Talon will take his. His second action to stand up. [00:34:58] Speaker A: Finally. [00:34:59] Speaker B: Yeah, finally. Jeez. I'm like, oh, we should get the. [00:35:02] Speaker A: Fuck out of here. [00:35:03] Speaker B: And he do. I think that the dinosaur will come with us if he sees us leaving. [00:35:08] Speaker A: You told him to come back, so he came back. I'm not one of those GM's who's like, oh, you didn't say this in your wish spell, but I am taking what you say with the commands kind of literally. So probably not. You just told them to come back to you. [00:35:22] Speaker B: Okay, then I will use a. My third action to try to get the dinosaur. To try to get him to follow me is what I'm gonna tell him to do. [00:35:29] Speaker A: Okay. [00:35:30] Speaker E: Oh, boy. [00:35:31] Speaker B: This is how Kintalan dies. Trying to get a dinosaur to follow him into the jungle. 16 plus two, if he likes me, is 18. [00:35:39] Speaker A: Okay, let's see what happens. [00:35:41] Speaker B: And it could be even less if he's inclined to do the thing I asked him to do next. [00:35:45] Speaker A: Another chiricah shows up. Jesus. Good, soraya, it is your turn. [00:35:52] Speaker C: Um, are we just beating a hasty retreat? Is that the plan? [00:35:55] Speaker A: Wow. Why? You're all healthy. [00:35:57] Speaker D: Shut up. [00:35:58] Speaker B: We would be if tinnitus Jones over there would get his fucking healing spell off. [00:36:05] Speaker C: She'll hand you another lesser elixir of life if you. [00:36:10] Speaker A: If you need it. [00:36:11] Speaker C: Because I can still do that. That takes me two actions or three actions to make hand. [00:36:16] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:36:16] Speaker C: Okay. I'm gonna have Jasper also do like, a reconnaissance lap. Just kind of pop up and see how many other things have shown up now. Because apparently more. Yeah, I'm just gonna send him basically, like, his flight speed in the air. [00:36:31] Speaker A: Which I think is 25. [00:36:32] Speaker B: Shawn, I have a question. [00:36:33] Speaker A: Yeah? [00:36:33] Speaker B: Is it any different number of actions for her to draw a potion and then put it in my mouth versus draw a potion and put it in my hand? [00:36:43] Speaker A: I wouldn't say so. [00:36:44] Speaker C: So, okay, so you want to roll three d six plus six? [00:36:47] Speaker B: Or do you want to do it? You're the alchemist, alchemize. [00:36:52] Speaker A: Say ah. [00:36:55] Speaker C: Look, I'm just trying. I'm just trying to help. This is the only way. [00:36:58] Speaker A: I know. [00:37:00] Speaker C: 14. [00:37:01] Speaker B: Thank you. [00:37:02] Speaker A: It's not bad. That's almost as much as Temmin has done. [00:37:05] Speaker B: Totally feeling way better. We should go in here. [00:37:07] Speaker C: This is why I have these. Just in case. [00:37:09] Speaker A: Saraya, that's your turn. That it is. [00:37:12] Speaker C: Just like the idea that, like, I yank something off a battle ear, give it a shake, and then just stuff it in twin talons. [00:37:17] Speaker A: Drink it. [00:37:18] Speaker B: Ah. Okay. [00:37:21] Speaker A: Say ah. This chiriko loses it's fear. Cause it was only fear one. But you know what? [00:37:31] Speaker C: It kept him out of our hair. [00:37:32] Speaker A: He looks around at what's going on, sees a viable target. [00:37:36] Speaker E: Oops. [00:37:37] Speaker A: And has to double move to there. And now we'll stab at Pondwatcher with a natural one. [00:37:48] Speaker B: I like it. Drawing up cars, Shawn. [00:37:49] Speaker E: Hey, Sean. That's a crit fail, Shawn. [00:37:51] Speaker A: I know. And you're not even in the fog. [00:37:53] Speaker C: So him fails them. Fails them. [00:37:56] Speaker E: Also, it's barely, like, not a hit. [00:38:00] Speaker B: Feels like 21. That's. I guess that's a miss. [00:38:03] Speaker A: But it's red three off on the receiving end. You deal damage to yourself instead of the target. [00:38:09] Speaker E: Aha. [00:38:10] Speaker A: Ooh. [00:38:10] Speaker B: Does it make itself bleed, then? [00:38:11] Speaker C: Is it normal damage, or is it. [00:38:13] Speaker A: 19 points of damage and it now has bleed? [00:38:17] Speaker D: Yes. [00:38:18] Speaker C: Please tell me it just accidentally separated. [00:38:20] Speaker A: So it is now the end of its tail, and it rolls one d four bleed for four points of bleed damage. [00:38:29] Speaker C: Your turn, monkey boy. [00:38:31] Speaker A: And dies. [00:38:32] Speaker D: Oh, thank God. [00:38:34] Speaker A: Yes, it did. [00:38:36] Speaker E: Called it. [00:38:37] Speaker A: Oh, they were doing so well. [00:38:42] Speaker C: So is our plan to go rest and come back when we're all. [00:38:46] Speaker A: It's not your turn yet, ma'am. [00:38:48] Speaker C: Yeah, I'm just asking the group. [00:38:50] Speaker B: I think our plan is to. Yeah, GTFO, and then, you know, come back a different day when we're not mostly dead. But if, you know, we got a good lay of the land, we took out the frocks and the bat people and group of the church. We have a better lay of the land, so we can kind of choose our attack next time. I mean, assuming we make it away. [00:39:09] Speaker C: There are still, like, 1520 random things in the giant, though, right? [00:39:15] Speaker B: But we could come in from the east next time, theoretically. And check out those buildings. There's also. I don't know. Sean, do I see this? I don't know if you can see where I'm pinging, but it's near that weird circle. That weird circle to the right hand side. [00:39:26] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, absolutely. [00:39:27] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, like the alchemy. [00:39:29] Speaker A: Yeah, you totally see that. [00:39:30] Speaker B: This. This person here. [00:39:31] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:39:32] Speaker B: The cobalt with glasses on. [00:39:35] Speaker A: Yep. [00:39:35] Speaker C: Is that the person we're looking for? [00:39:36] Speaker B: Huh? I'm assuming. I mean, it's a kobold. She's got a smoking. So maybe she's a. An alchemist. I'm sorry, a blood mage? [00:39:47] Speaker C: Look, if you. Listen, I don't know if it's been posted yet to Saraya's little slice of life episode she goes into. Why she thinks what she does. I don't know if we're supposed to know this, but we can see when Shawn rolls that they were called the church hop butchers, so. Yeah, they seem like the beefy crew. [00:40:05] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:40:05] Speaker B: So I'm wondering if the ones that are coming now are not that group. Because honestly, if they're not a little less impressive and we can get hezzle out before we leave, I would vote we do. [00:40:14] Speaker C: I'd rather do that. [00:40:15] Speaker B: I'm gonna leave her here and take her with us. [00:40:17] Speaker A: Podwatcher, it is your turn. [00:40:19] Speaker E: What? [00:40:21] Speaker A: There is a chirika up in your face. Wow. About 10ft away. [00:40:26] Speaker E: I mean, I'm not gonna fall for this. Surprisingly, it's right there. Yeah, it is. But so is 50 more of them. [00:40:34] Speaker C: So there's only seven. [00:40:36] Speaker E: Considering his friends have been yelling at him to come back, he's going to move once into the fog and vanish into the fog. He is going to then move a second time and then I guess ready in action to attack if anyone comes within 10ft of him. [00:40:57] Speaker A: All right. I'm so glad. Roll 20 highlights which character it is in the initiative tracker. [00:41:04] Speaker C: So I was going to ask if I was right in assuming or remembering that Kobold spoke draconic. But then I realized that when Shawn was putting in my, my character sheet in roll 20, he put the language as drakeebook. So I don't know, do I speak draconic or do I speak jerky? [00:41:23] Speaker B: Book, Jackie. [00:41:24] Speaker A: Book. [00:41:24] Speaker B: Cause you're being a jerk about it. Because suck it, that's why. [00:41:27] Speaker C: I don't know. Let me see what hero lab says. [00:41:29] Speaker A: And another churicom moves towards you. [00:41:32] Speaker C: I assume we can hear the sound of their pounding monkey feet. [00:41:34] Speaker A: Yes. Brianna, it is your turn. [00:41:37] Speaker D: What the fuck are we doing? [00:41:38] Speaker C: We just stepped in range of twin Talon. I mean, there's a monkey in ranger. Twin Talon. [00:41:42] Speaker D: I'm gonna roundhouse kick twin Talon. Uh, what? [00:41:47] Speaker C: It's not his fault. The monkey ranger. [00:41:48] Speaker B: Yeah, the monkey just came to the fog after me. [00:41:50] Speaker D: All right, well, she's gonna step up, prep up and she's gonna swing at this monkey. [00:41:57] Speaker A: Okay. [00:41:58] Speaker D: Oh, no, you don't fuck everything. [00:42:01] Speaker A: No. [00:42:02] Speaker D: Is that a critical mess? [00:42:04] Speaker A: That. Well, yeah, it's a natural one. [00:42:06] Speaker C: Natural one. [00:42:07] Speaker D: All right, all right. [00:42:09] Speaker A: I mean, all right, you have a hero point. [00:42:11] Speaker D: Yeah, just. Just take it. [00:42:12] Speaker A: Fuck it. Just. Oh, I love that. No one has hero points left. Oh, shut up, Shawn. Oh, so good. [00:42:19] Speaker C: Maybe. Maybe you as the GM should be awarding them for cool. [00:42:22] Speaker B: I feel like real heroes don't have hero points because they use them to do heroic things. [00:42:28] Speaker A: Right. Making brave and heroic decisions. Like trying to hit this guy again. [00:42:32] Speaker C: Mm hmm. [00:42:33] Speaker E: Like swinging your sword. Slightly better. [00:42:35] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:42:36] Speaker D: Yes, but heroes are. We've seen every time that I've given in a hero point, I've only done worse, so. [00:42:43] Speaker B: Well, you can't do worse, so that's the best thing. [00:42:45] Speaker D: Yes, but I can do the same. So let's see what happens. [00:42:49] Speaker A: There we go. [00:42:50] Speaker D: Hey, how's the 31? [00:42:52] Speaker C: That's not the same. [00:42:53] Speaker A: How's a critical sound? [00:42:54] Speaker D: I'm not gonna get excited yet because I still have to roll. Concealment. [00:42:58] Speaker A: You do. [00:42:59] Speaker D: We know how that goes. [00:43:02] Speaker A: Oh, no, not everything. [00:43:07] Speaker D: I quit. [00:43:08] Speaker A: That's a natural two. That's a two. What if you use a. Here. Oh, Shawn, I swear. [00:43:16] Speaker C: Oh, shut up. Oh, you jerk. [00:43:19] Speaker A: Stop it. But you do take some bleed. You take three bleed. All right. And then. [00:43:25] Speaker B: Wait a second. Did you attack twice? No, you moved once. Attacked once. [00:43:29] Speaker A: Yeah, you get to go. [00:43:30] Speaker C: You can attack again. [00:43:31] Speaker B: Yeah, and then it's not the end of your turn, Sean. [00:43:34] Speaker A: I'm sorry. [00:43:34] Speaker D: Well, this would have happened at the end of the turn anyway, right? So. [00:43:38] Speaker A: Yeah, but I mean. Well, yeah, that's definitely will happen still. [00:43:41] Speaker C: So I'm just saying. Sean, too, if you're tired of the obscuring mist, your caster can dismiss it at any time. [00:43:47] Speaker A: Yeah, they could. But it's so much fun. [00:43:51] Speaker D: How's it? 21. [00:43:53] Speaker A: That's a hit. [00:43:54] Speaker D: Great. Take 14 points of. No, I can't. [00:43:58] Speaker A: Fuck you. [00:43:59] Speaker D: Fuck everything. [00:43:59] Speaker C: I'm so mad right now. [00:44:04] Speaker D: Take it. [00:44:05] Speaker A: Four. You kill the churica that ran at. [00:44:09] Speaker C: You with a roar. [00:44:11] Speaker D: Brianna's fucking pissed at this point. [00:44:14] Speaker C: Now that we know these guys are kind of like Janky, do we want to go kill him? [00:44:19] Speaker B: No, that was the first time I got hit. Right? [00:44:22] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:44:22] Speaker A: Yes. [00:44:23] Speaker C: I have 80 hit points out of 83. [00:44:24] Speaker A: Like, sorry, Soraya's doing great. [00:44:29] Speaker C: She's at all of you for not fighting at range. [00:44:34] Speaker D: So if Santa was a pie. Uh, yes. [00:44:42] Speaker A: The dinosaur sees another monkey attack you, roars and goes, dang it. [00:44:47] Speaker B: Dinosaur. [00:44:48] Speaker A: And runs over two of these. Churica running at you. They both critically fail. [00:44:54] Speaker D: Yes. [00:44:54] Speaker A: Taking. [00:44:55] Speaker B: I don't think they could survive even its normal attack, let alone its double damage. [00:45:01] Speaker A: They're taking 44 points of damage as he crushes them into a fine paste. [00:45:08] Speaker D: I'm so confused. [00:45:10] Speaker C: Well, these are warriors as opposed to the butchers, so these are. These are not nearly as the traditional. [00:45:15] Speaker E: Hierarchy of the military. You got butchers at the top, warriors below them. [00:45:22] Speaker A: It's temid's turn. Temid is gonna look around at this crew and be like, hey, hang on, hang on. And try and heal you using his very last divine font for the fuck it up. [00:45:34] Speaker C: Okay. If he doesn't have to do the three action, though, like, I don't need. [00:45:38] Speaker A: It at all, but everyone else does. Okay. [00:45:41] Speaker C: I didn't know if, like, pond Watcher was okay. [00:45:42] Speaker E: Nope. [00:45:43] Speaker A: No, no, no. You are literally the only one who. [00:45:48] Speaker E: Concealment is the only reason I'm not dead. [00:45:50] Speaker A: Oh, my God. All heal, 20 points. [00:45:53] Speaker C: He rolled above a five. [00:45:54] Speaker E: Yes. [00:45:55] Speaker A: Good. Job. [00:45:56] Speaker E: Timid. [00:45:56] Speaker D: Oh, thank goodness. Thank you. [00:45:58] Speaker A: Hey, twin Talon, it is now your turn. [00:46:01] Speaker B: And he will sheath the sword he's got. He will quick draw his bow and fire. Because I looked this up, a quick draw just says you draw a weapon and attack in the same motion, interact to draw a weapon and then strike with that weapon. Strike is not specific to melee, it's just strike is the action for attacking. [00:46:19] Speaker C: Yeah, that's how my brain works with my quick bomber. [00:46:21] Speaker B: Yep. So I can use it with a bow. So I'm going to quick draw the bow and I am going to shoot one of these monkey boys. I don't know what the range of the bow is so it's just beyond the first range increment. I don't know what that with the DC is. I'm just going to roll and see if maybe it even makes a difference at all. [00:46:39] Speaker A: 33, even outside the first range increment with the dinosaur, giving it a slight bit of COVID you critically hit it. [00:46:49] Speaker B: So it does a deadly detan. So six damage. [00:46:53] Speaker A: Let's see what the crit is plus a crit card. [00:46:55] Speaker B: So it's double damage until here healed. The target is clumsy one and enfeebled two. So it takes twelve damage. [00:47:03] Speaker A: Yes it does. And I believe you saw one more action, right? [00:47:08] Speaker D: Yes. [00:47:09] Speaker A: One more attack. [00:47:10] Speaker B: And for my last action, going to call the dinosaur. Monkeys that are between her and us are fairly weak so my hope is that we can cover her and the dinosaurs retreat as we go. But I don't want to just like book it and leave them here to fend with everything for themselves. So if we can lay down like some, some bows or bombs, whatever, just to help them get out, that's what I would like to do. If they get murdered on the way out, then I guess we leave. But I don't want to just leave knowing that they are coming. Like we can see them coming toward us. So that is my thought, especially since I'm in the fog. I'm hoping that, you know, maybe something will not hit me as it comes in. [00:47:47] Speaker A: Okay, so first off, I need you to make a nature check for the dinosaur 30. [00:47:52] Speaker D: Nice. [00:47:52] Speaker B: That's a natural 20, by the way. [00:47:54] Speaker A: Yes it is. And now I need you to roll just a straight up d 20 because you're taking three. Persistent acid. [00:48:01] Speaker B: I got a ten, so I'm not out of there. [00:48:02] Speaker A: All right. Still very acidic. Saraya, it is your turn. [00:48:08] Speaker C: I am going to pop out of the fog for a brief moment. [00:48:13] Speaker A: Okay. I love that I've been, I've enticed you all. [00:48:17] Speaker C: I just want to check. Just gonna pop out of there. I'm just gonna throw an alchemist fire at this southmost churica. [00:48:24] Speaker A: All right. Got another chiricah warrior for a 19 will hit. [00:48:30] Speaker C: So 13 damage, two persistent, two splash, and then pop back into the box. [00:48:35] Speaker A: All right. As you pop away, you smell burnt monkey. Kind of makes you hungry. I don't know. Maybe. [00:48:41] Speaker C: I don't know how much she's eaten recently. [00:48:44] Speaker A: A hatchet is swung at the dinosaur for a critical miss. [00:48:48] Speaker D: Nice. [00:48:48] Speaker A: One of the chiricah decided to come up and attack the dinosaur, and it critically missed after rolling an eight. [00:48:55] Speaker B: So I feel like we went and picked a fight with, like, the hardest things on this map. [00:49:00] Speaker A: First, it slowed one, so it loses its last action. [00:49:04] Speaker C: Is that that second one in front of the dino attacking? Is that what that was? [00:49:07] Speaker A: Nope. You hear a blood curdling scream come from out inside of this house directly to your east. [00:49:15] Speaker B: So the house that in front of it is the six cots or six beds or whatever they are. [00:49:20] Speaker A: Yep. You see the cobalt that suddenly appeared? Come out and throw something at the dinosaur. What? [00:49:29] Speaker E: Hey. [00:49:30] Speaker A: And let's see if the dinosaur can reflex save. [00:49:34] Speaker B: Hopefully she's talking and you hear very. [00:49:36] Speaker A: Angry yelling at in Indrakonic. [00:49:40] Speaker C: What is the angry yelling sound like? Because I speak it. [00:49:43] Speaker D: I can't believe it. [00:49:44] Speaker A: This thing got loose again. I'm gonna get in so much trouble. Dispatch of it. [00:49:49] Speaker E: Oh, she bad or. [00:49:51] Speaker C: Oh, no, she thinks. No, she thinks it got loose and that she's going to get in trouble. [00:49:54] Speaker D: So I'm pretty sure if we tell her we're here to rescue her, she'll be okay with it being loose and we'll keep running. [00:49:58] Speaker C: Yes. If only. Only it was. If only I had the capability of doing that within me. 6 seconds. [00:50:04] Speaker A: The dinosaur is taking half damage, so it's taking seven. Oof. It's still up, but it looks very unhappy. Oh, you see a large expansion explosion go off on the dinosaur? [00:50:15] Speaker C: Do I recognize? [00:50:16] Speaker A: Kind of. It looks similar to an alchemist fire, but it doesn't have all the same properties. Oh, actually, hang on. Oh, boy. It also kills the two churica that were on the other side of it. [00:50:29] Speaker C: Splash damage, baby. [00:50:30] Speaker A: Uh, no, actually, but it is now. Pond watchers, turn. [00:50:36] Speaker E: Okay, so, um, remind me. First action, I want to stow my Halbert. [00:50:41] Speaker A: Okay. [00:50:42] Speaker E: Second action, I would like to draw my longbow. [00:50:44] Speaker A: Done. [00:50:44] Speaker E: Can I hit this church even though it's technically through the spoke? [00:50:49] Speaker A: Yes. You would have to make the DC five. Flat check. [00:50:52] Speaker E: Okay, I'm gonna attempt to do that because everyone yelled at me and told me to run, and now no one's running. So I'm just gonna stand here and try to help out. Natural 20 for a 34 that will critically hit and. Hmm. So. So no rage damage, but it is still a critical. It is so I would draw a critic piercing as the bow. Critical specialization effect. The target cannot use one of its arms until freed. If using a melee weapon, you must drop it to gain this effect. Oh, no. Well, for me anyway. [00:51:27] Speaker A: It's 2020 points of damage, and you just skew pure this churica through the heart, and it is dead. [00:51:36] Speaker E: Are we going? [00:51:38] Speaker B: Roll the concealment? [00:51:40] Speaker E: No, I won't throw the concealment now. [00:51:42] Speaker A: Yeah, roll the concealment. Eight. [00:51:44] Speaker B: There we go. Thank you. [00:51:45] Speaker A: That's success. All right, Brianna, it is your turn next week. [00:51:52] Speaker E: Always. [00:51:54] Speaker D: I will not be silenced. [00:51:56] Speaker A: With the seemingly difficult path behind them, will our heroes stay and fight? Will they manage to save this kobold? Will the dinosaur survive?
