[00:00:39] Speaker A: Hey, everyone. Welcome to episode 51 of the Cracked Die podcast. [00:00:44] Speaker B: This is Anwar. [00:00:45] Speaker A: I play temid on the show. You know, the cleric, the guy who relies way too much on drinking. [00:00:52] Speaker B: You know that guy? [00:00:53] Speaker A: Well, anyways, like I said, this is episode number 51. I was just one off from the. [00:00:58] Speaker B: Episode that I really wanted. I wanted to kind of do episode. [00:01:01] Speaker A: Number 52 so that I could be the one that greets you when you listen to the episode that represents about a year or so of us recording and broadcasting our show to you. But you know what? Now that I think about it, the number 51 is pretty good, too, actually. It's the atomic number for antimony. It's the number of an area in somewhere in Nevada that's controlled by the US military. It's the number of essays Alexander Hamilton wrote defending the new us constitution in the federalist papers. It's the number of Barney Williams, a wonderful center fielder for the Yankees in their dynasty years. So you know what? I feel pretty good about greeting you for this particular episode. So things have been getting pretty crazy. Last episode was quite a rollercoaster for us, and I'm. I'm sure it might have been for you as well. And there are a lot of questions to be answered for both you and for us, so you just have to keep listening. [00:02:02] Speaker C: Right. [00:02:02] Speaker A: Speaking of listening, you don't have to just listen to us. You can also watch some of us play tabletop rpg's as well. Did you know that this Saturday. That's right. This Saturday, September 19, you could watch Absalom in order on the crack dye Twitch channel. [00:02:19] Speaker D: That's right. [00:02:19] Speaker A: Isn't that great? You can listen to my voice now and then. [00:02:23] Speaker B: Watch some people who are actually competent. [00:02:24] Speaker A: At playing Pathfinder second edition over on our Twitch. Alright, so now that I've bored you long enough, here's a nice short and sweet episode of the podcast. [00:02:34] Speaker B: Episode number 51. [00:02:35] Speaker C: Take care. [00:02:36] Speaker E: Previously on the Cracked Die podcast, all heroes chase the creatures that abducted silver. With them being unable to catch them. What will they do now? Where will they go? And what ramifications does this have? Find out the answers to these questions and more on this episode of the Cracked Die podcast. [00:03:05] Speaker D: Welcome to the 51st episode of the Cracked Die podcast. [00:03:10] Speaker C: Hooray. [00:03:12] Speaker F: This should be interesting. [00:03:14] Speaker G: It should be. [00:03:16] Speaker C: We left on such an up note. [00:03:20] Speaker F: Is it opposite day? [00:03:22] Speaker C: I mean. Cause. No, you feel like it? We left on a good note, is. [00:03:29] Speaker A: That what you're saying? [00:03:30] Speaker C: Yeah. No, he can't believe you. [00:03:33] Speaker H: Either that or Sean was just speaking sarcastically. I don't know. [00:03:38] Speaker D: I mean six of one, half dozen of the other, right? [00:03:41] Speaker C: What? [00:03:42] Speaker H: English is not my first language. That is my excuse for what's happening right now. [00:03:47] Speaker D: So at the end of last episode, I gave everyone a hero point for some awesome rp. I would like to give Pondwatcher an additional hero point for crying. [00:03:59] Speaker C: Yay. [00:04:00] Speaker F: Cry harder. [00:04:01] Speaker B: That was really good. [00:04:02] Speaker C: Yeah, that was. [00:04:03] Speaker H: Yeah, it was heartbreaking. [00:04:05] Speaker D: It really was. [00:04:06] Speaker C: So. [00:04:07] Speaker G: Well, he's mute now, so that was the last of it. [00:04:12] Speaker C: No. Who? [00:04:14] Speaker I: Pond watcher? [00:04:15] Speaker G: Yep. [00:04:16] Speaker C: Oh, no, listeners, we promise. [00:04:18] Speaker I: That's not true. [00:04:21] Speaker F: We know who's your favorite. Guys, please don't leave us, listener. [00:04:25] Speaker G: Okay. [00:04:26] Speaker H: Oh, that's right. It's just Craig. [00:04:27] Speaker C: Sorry. [00:04:27] Speaker I: Sorry, Craig. [00:04:28] Speaker F: Yeah, it's just Craig. [00:04:29] Speaker C: So with that, you all head back to camp. [00:04:34] Speaker D: It's early enough in the morning that you've all gotten enough sleep to prepare whatever you need to prepare. So you get all your spells back. [00:04:43] Speaker C: All of your components that you need. [00:04:46] Speaker D: For your blood magic, and you've successfully. [00:04:51] Speaker C: Solved this issue with Gerhard and Erhard Pendergast, if we remember that so many weeks ago, because things have changed. The group has changed. [00:05:05] Speaker D: So I've moved you back to the hexploration map. Rannouli comes back and joins you all. [00:05:13] Speaker G: Hey, guys. [00:05:14] Speaker I: What'd I miss? [00:05:18] Speaker F: Just that, like, something's different. [00:05:22] Speaker D: You guys look different. [00:05:24] Speaker C: Younger. [00:05:28] Speaker F: I mean, we did just adjust the median age of the group significantly. [00:05:32] Speaker D: She's not that insensitive about things. She realizes probably what's happened. She sees the trail of blood that's drying, and she's kind of very somber and quiet with all of you as well. [00:05:51] Speaker G: I would like to say that pond Watcher asked for the guitar string. [00:05:55] Speaker F: Oh, actually, I was definitely gonna say when we discovered that, like, Jasper, like, flaps over and, like, perches on your head and drops it there like silver with the crown. [00:06:04] Speaker C: Aw. [00:06:05] Speaker H: Yeah. [00:06:06] Speaker B: So did silver leave any loot behind? [00:06:10] Speaker C: Oh, wow. [00:06:12] Speaker I: All of his bags are back at camp, right? [00:06:16] Speaker F: We were worried about Rinalli being insensitive. [00:06:19] Speaker D: I think that's what he would want. [00:06:21] Speaker C: That's true. [00:06:22] Speaker F: The spirit of silver loot the crap out of his stuff. [00:06:25] Speaker B: That's the only way to honor him. [00:06:28] Speaker I: He would have wanted it that way. [00:06:29] Speaker G: He said he would carry Alec's sword because I was overburdened. Now I have to carry it again. [00:06:34] Speaker C: God damn it. [00:06:36] Speaker I: What a jerk. [00:06:37] Speaker H: I would take it for you if. [00:06:40] Speaker D: So you do find his bag of gear, and it is a bit heavy with. With some monies. [00:06:49] Speaker B: This is still the same day that. [00:06:51] Speaker A: We did the chase yeah. [00:06:52] Speaker D: So you guys have all come back to camp from that chase, from finding everything. [00:06:58] Speaker B: So temid actually does walk up to his backpack, but he doesn't obviously, take anything from it. He's not. Not Anwar. [00:07:04] Speaker C: He's. [00:07:05] Speaker B: He's actually a kind person, I think. [00:07:08] Speaker D: Anwar's a kind person. [00:07:10] Speaker C: Yeah. You thought wrong. [00:07:11] Speaker B: Okay. Don't ruin my street cred. [00:07:14] Speaker D: I'm sorry. Anwar's a hardened criminal. [00:07:17] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:07:18] Speaker A: Animal. [00:07:19] Speaker B: Anyways, he so temed, you know, kind of looks at it, and he kind of gently picks it up, and he. He brings it over to everyone, and he just kind of lays it down. He doesn't really know why he's doing this, but he kind of wants to bring it closer to everybody, and he wants everyone to kind of surround it. [00:07:40] Speaker C: Almost like we all kind of know. [00:07:42] Speaker B: I think I get the impression that we all know that he's. He's not just gone, that he's probably gone gone. [00:07:49] Speaker C: And so he wants to kind of. [00:07:52] Speaker B: Pay his respects, and if we don't have silver to pay our respects to his belongings, his backpack and all those things, maybe what we can actually kind of pay our respects to and maybe say something for him. [00:08:07] Speaker D: I don't want to make any light of the situation, but it's well established that silver slept in the nude, so his clothes are there. [00:08:16] Speaker C: Okay. It kind of wishes he didn't know. [00:08:20] Speaker I: That he took his watch in the nude, too. [00:08:23] Speaker C: Mm hmm. [00:08:27] Speaker H: Okay. I'm guessing that between Brianna and Temmin, they would want to at least speak on behalf of their. Well, maybe not, because Silver did have a thing which was against deities, didn't he? [00:08:43] Speaker C: He did, yeah. Yeah. [00:08:45] Speaker B: So to respect him, I think the way that I see they would do it is they would honor him in a way which their deities would be approving of. However, I don't think that they would specifically name the deities and talk about their. Their accomplishments in a way that normally would do when you're paying respects to. [00:09:07] Speaker C: Somebody in that way, like, for. [00:09:11] Speaker B: For example. And it's almost like a, you know, something that temid constantly does. But I think he's going to fill up that magic mug with whatever silver's favorite drink was and fill up each and every one of the mugs and one extra for Silver himself and place that with him and then give one to everybody because he has so many of them, and that's one way that he wants to pay respects. Everyone sits in that moment and accepts and acknowledges the fact that he is someone that's very important to us, and he's no longer here. [00:09:49] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:09:50] Speaker G: Yeah, I definitely think Pondwatcher appreciates this gesture and will imbibe and say, while Silver did not follow any of the. [00:10:03] Speaker C: Deities that we follow, I'm sure he would appreciate having a nice thought sent his way, even in a time of. [00:10:15] Speaker G: Such turmoil and struggle, to know that for once, his group outlived him. [00:10:21] Speaker C: And I wouldn't put it past him. [00:10:26] Speaker G: To come right around that corner at any moment. I mean, he was a tough old son of a bitch. [00:10:32] Speaker C: So from my point of view, I. [00:10:36] Speaker G: Won'T be surprised when he shows up. And until then, by callistory, I will gain as much revenge as I can against anyone who. Who did this to him. And I know he would understand that. [00:10:50] Speaker C: And, you know, will ceremoniously take all. [00:10:54] Speaker G: The things in his backpack, because that's what he would have wanted. [00:10:59] Speaker F: Clara is going to raise her mug as well, and just kind of quietly add that he was. He was a. A man who told the stories of others. [00:11:07] Speaker C: And until we see him again, we'll tell his. Until we see him again, Brianna will also raise. [00:11:15] Speaker F: Yeah, I think that's. That's a nice. That's a nice, like, toast. [00:11:18] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. So you all take a moment thinking of silver. [00:11:23] Speaker D: So, in his bag, he has the following items. I had to break the tension somehow. He doesn't actually have very much gear. He had some robes. [00:11:36] Speaker G: Well, presumably he took his, like, super fancy guitar with him, which is the thing he spent the most money on. [00:11:41] Speaker D: Right? Yeah, he had that to try and cast out of, but other than that, you find the crown that he insisted that you wear, and you find 25 gold pieces, 436 silver pieces. [00:11:57] Speaker A: And he was rich. [00:11:59] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:11:59] Speaker I: I wonder where he got all that money. [00:12:01] Speaker G: He stole all that very early on in our career. [00:12:05] Speaker F: Wait, stole it? [00:12:06] Speaker H: Stole it from where? [00:12:07] Speaker G: Well, no, I mean, he found it, but, um, it was. The provenance was unclear. We could just say that. [00:12:16] Speaker C: I don't. [00:12:17] Speaker B: Wait a second. Where did you learn the word provenance? [00:12:19] Speaker G: Listen, I'm not stupid, okay? I just don't speak common very well. [00:12:24] Speaker H: Well, I think you speak it very well, and you're learning every day. No, what's the. [00:12:31] Speaker C: Stop. [00:12:32] Speaker F: Stop it. [00:12:32] Speaker C: Stop. [00:12:33] Speaker F: Suddenly we have, like, a Barton homer bit. [00:12:36] Speaker G: I just choked him in a lot, so. [00:12:38] Speaker C: Funny little fun. [00:12:41] Speaker G: No, I mean, the only people in the world that he's not mad at now are you guys. [00:12:45] Speaker D: So where would you all like to go and exploring? [00:12:51] Speaker G: Back to Cheliax. Goodbye. [00:12:54] Speaker I: So I have a question about silver stuff. [00:12:56] Speaker D: Yes. [00:12:58] Speaker I: Did he have the rings of doubling. [00:13:00] Speaker G: Oh, right. Did he ever give that to you? [00:13:03] Speaker I: No. [00:13:04] Speaker D: No. So, yes, he does have the rings of doubling. [00:13:09] Speaker I: I didn't know if you guys were wearing them as best friend rings. [00:13:12] Speaker G: Oh, we were. You're right. [00:13:13] Speaker D: Yeah, that's right. So his. It's gone. The other ring is on his finger still. [00:13:18] Speaker C: Cool. [00:13:19] Speaker G: I forget what that does. It just makes you good at two weapon fighting, right? [00:13:23] Speaker I: No, it. What it does is if you are a two weapon fighter, it takes the runes from one sword and puts them on the other sword so you don't have to spend twice as much money as everybody else. [00:13:34] Speaker G: Oh, yeah, we definitely plan on giving that to you. But now pond Watcher Maybe realizes this and just doesn't say. He just slowly throws his ring into a bush, like, ooh, yeah. [00:13:48] Speaker I: Then we're gonna find the other one and be like, oh. [00:13:49] Speaker C: Oh, boy. [00:13:52] Speaker G: Yeah, no, I totally forgot about that. And so did my character, probably. So Matt didn't forget about it. [00:13:58] Speaker C: Twintelle never knew. [00:14:01] Speaker F: Christine is like, I don't even know what you're talking about. [00:14:03] Speaker D: Oh, way back in the crypts. [00:14:05] Speaker G: Yeah. These are the rings that silver and I looted out of the sarcophagi after Twintellen asked us not to specifically. Which is why we didn't give them to him. [00:14:14] Speaker F: Yes, those. [00:14:16] Speaker C: Well, see, are. [00:14:18] Speaker H: Did he complain at all about hand sweating or the like? I would assume he would remove his rings at night. No, I tried. [00:14:27] Speaker C: Please. [00:14:28] Speaker G: Silver would never remove his rings. [00:14:30] Speaker I: He probably swallowed it to keep it. [00:14:33] Speaker G: He would be ready to flee at a moment's notice at all times. [00:14:37] Speaker F: He keeps it, like, pirates have their rings to pay for funerals. Like. [00:14:41] Speaker H: Yes. [00:14:42] Speaker G: You never know when you're gonna need a ring. Give somebody get me a favor. [00:14:46] Speaker C: Give a favor. [00:14:47] Speaker G: You know what I'm talking about. [00:14:49] Speaker C: Wow. [00:14:50] Speaker H: Is he back? [00:14:50] Speaker F: Good lord. [00:14:51] Speaker H: That's a good one. [00:14:53] Speaker D: So where are you all headed? [00:14:57] Speaker H: Right, right. That was the question. Sorry. [00:15:00] Speaker G: I would. I would like to say one last thing. Yes, please. Presuming that we are moving on as a group from this area, Pondwatcher is going to remove his musical instrument, the tuba, and he's going to leave it at the spot that silver was abducted from. And he's going to leave the note. I'm sure I'll see you again soon, just in case he escapes and comes back here. He'll know that we are still out here and frankly, has a lot less desire to, like, do bard stuff now that his friend is gone. [00:15:36] Speaker I: Yeah, I can only imagine. [00:15:38] Speaker D: That makes sense. That might bring up some trauma. I don't know. So Rannuli is still offering to scout for you guys. There's this hex that is to the west that she discovered that angel that she talked to, that you guys never followed up on. There's also all the hexes all around that you have yet to explain. Explore. [00:16:01] Speaker I: So my vote would be for us to go here directly northwest and send her directly north. That would put us next to the angel hex. It would explore one hex to the northeast of where we're gonna end up. So depending on what she finds, then the next day we could go explore the angel. Or we could go for something more immediate. We could go that way. [00:16:23] Speaker F: I agree. [00:16:24] Speaker B: I'm fine with that. [00:16:26] Speaker D: All right, so you send Rennuli exploring to the north, and you guys go northwest. So as you are walking along here, you find smears of bloods and the signs of a struggle mar the nearby jungle foliage, leaving a trail of broken branches leading further into the trees. [00:16:50] Speaker B: For a moment, Hamid kind of thinks. [00:16:54] Speaker C: Is this where they went? [00:16:55] Speaker B: Like, uh, yeah. Is this where they may have gone? [00:16:57] Speaker H: I would agree, yeah. [00:17:00] Speaker F: I think that's fresh on everyone's mind. [00:17:02] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:17:02] Speaker D: Um, if you want to, you can try to track where this leads to. If you think that's all right. [00:17:10] Speaker C: Yeah, let's do that. [00:17:11] Speaker D: Whoever wants to roll that survival check. [00:17:14] Speaker I: Dammit. I believe you're the survivor. [00:17:16] Speaker G: Os. [00:17:16] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:17:17] Speaker I: 29. Nice. [00:17:18] Speaker B: 29 total. [00:17:19] Speaker F: That's how you do it. [00:17:20] Speaker C: All right. [00:17:21] Speaker D: You managed to follow this blood path and you find bloodbath. [00:17:29] Speaker G: Yeah, blood bath and beyond. [00:17:35] Speaker D: You find a big human like kind of fat, if you will, sitting around a campfire with a bag. [00:17:44] Speaker G: With a what? [00:17:45] Speaker C: With a bag. [00:17:47] Speaker D: It looks full. [00:17:49] Speaker H: Okay, Santa. [00:17:50] Speaker G: Is that what I put. That's how I advise it. [00:17:53] Speaker D: You see that he has a bow and arrow sitting next to him. And you see that there. There is blood on the tip of one of the arrows. [00:18:02] Speaker F: Is the back bloody? [00:18:04] Speaker D: Yes, it is. [00:18:05] Speaker I: So whatever the group does, Twintown is going to try to avoid notice. Just kind of sneak around to the eye, opposite side, so that if something goes down, he'll already be in position. Because this person clearly kills somebody or. [00:18:16] Speaker H: Something they could be hunting, too. [00:18:18] Speaker D: Switch. [00:18:19] Speaker I: Right. But this person is not unfamiliar with the ways of combat. So if they attack us, Twintown would just like to be in position. And if they don't, then they just walk out of the woods. [00:18:28] Speaker H: Okay. [00:18:29] Speaker G: Twintown's like that guy that just got out of prison. [00:18:34] Speaker I: My back to everything. [00:18:35] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:18:36] Speaker G: You should sit with your back to the wall. [00:18:38] Speaker C: Yep. Okay. [00:18:40] Speaker H: In that case, would it be okay if Brianna would turn to the rest of the group and say, should we. Should we approach and see if we can communicate? [00:18:49] Speaker G: Yeah, who cares? [00:18:50] Speaker C: Whatever. [00:18:51] Speaker G: Let's go. [00:18:54] Speaker D: So our angsty teenager, he's grieving. [00:18:59] Speaker H: Leave him alone. [00:19:01] Speaker B: Temid sympathizes. [00:19:03] Speaker H: Yeah. Oh, but Anwar doesn't. [00:19:06] Speaker C: Oof. [00:19:07] Speaker B: Yeah, Anwar's an asshole. [00:19:08] Speaker C: I don't know what. [00:19:09] Speaker D: I don't know how many times I. [00:19:10] Speaker B: Have to tell this to you. [00:19:14] Speaker F: Okay, so we'll kind of just like Pat Pondwatcher's shoulder. [00:19:18] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:19:19] Speaker F: Maybe he saw something. [00:19:20] Speaker H: Okay, so Brianna will move through the trees and be like, hello there, sir. [00:19:28] Speaker D: You see his head snap towards you and he speaks in Mwangi. [00:19:35] Speaker H: Oh, boy. [00:19:39] Speaker I: I speak Mwangi. [00:19:41] Speaker B: Only person. [00:19:42] Speaker I: Yeah. [00:19:43] Speaker H: Can I tell his body language or the tone of voice? [00:19:48] Speaker D: Yeah, he's surprised that a group of people just walked up on him in the middle of the forest. [00:19:54] Speaker C: That's. [00:19:55] Speaker H: That's fair. I was gonna say that Brianna will probably, like, raise her hands like, I'm. I won't hurt you, or like, I'm. She's not unarmed, but, like, she will not reach for her weapons. [00:20:05] Speaker D: Right. So let's. Let's go into exploration mode just so we can know what everyone is doing. So let's start with twin Talon. Twin Talon, you said you were sneaking around to see what's going on, right? [00:20:25] Speaker G: Yep. [00:20:25] Speaker I: Twintellon is sneaking around, trying to get to the opposite side of this guy from his group just so that if he starts to, you know, become hostile, that twin Colin can move in and attack. But he's also listening. The guy speaking, Wangi. I mean, he would understand what he says. [00:20:43] Speaker D: So, Brianna, you're. What are you doing? You're approaching him, hands up. Being non threatening, I'm assuming. [00:20:50] Speaker H: Correct. So I would hope to maybe roll a diplomacy. [00:20:55] Speaker F: Would that be it? [00:20:56] Speaker C: Sure. [00:20:57] Speaker D: That sounds good to me. [00:20:58] Speaker H: Okay, I will roll for diplomacy. How is a 22 sounds good to me. [00:21:04] Speaker D: What is Saraya doing? [00:21:07] Speaker F: She's also going to be attempting to communicate with Brianna. Okay, so if he doesn't respond to common, she will try and elven just say, you know, do you know the okuje? We're friends of theirs. And I will enroll diplomacy if I need to as well. Yeah, she's addressing him in elven in the hopes that maybe if he does dealings with other people in the relatively nearest area, he'll understand. [00:21:35] Speaker D: Great. [00:21:36] Speaker F: 25. [00:21:38] Speaker D: Cool. And pond. Vajar, what are you doing as an emo kid now? [00:21:46] Speaker G: I'm 90 years old. Okay. [00:21:50] Speaker F: Teenager by elves. [00:21:51] Speaker G: Yeah, he's a teenager. He's, like, 20. He's just gonna stand and stand against a tree. He's gonna take no actions. [00:22:03] Speaker D: I just picture that pond watcher is slowly gonna turn into the crowd. Crow. [00:22:10] Speaker G: The crow, huh? [00:22:12] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:22:12] Speaker D: You're gonna start, like, painting your face white with some black makeup. [00:22:15] Speaker G: I mean, I was actually wondering what this would do to his alignment. [00:22:20] Speaker H: Yeah. [00:22:23] Speaker G: But I guess we'll see. And if he can find any. If he can find any white face paint. [00:22:29] Speaker I: You know, I hear back guano is white. [00:22:35] Speaker G: Don't tempt me. [00:22:39] Speaker B: And Temmit Kemet is going to walk behind Anna and Saraya, and he's gonna just kind of, like, put on a big smiling face, hands wide open, you know, just like he's gonna use diplomacy, but he's not gonna say anything because the two of them already talking, and they'll just create more clutter in the. In the conversation. So he just kind of, like, just wants to look very open and friendly. [00:23:07] Speaker D: So you all are doing that. And he just keeps gesturing, speaking in Mulwange, kind of trying to communicate, but. [00:23:15] Speaker B: It'S not really making sense because it's a different language. [00:23:19] Speaker D: Yeah, he's trying to say, like, I don't understand what you're saying. Like, he, like, doesn't know what you're saying. And he's talking to you in Mwangi, you don't understand Mwangi. You're speaking in common or Elvin, and it's not making sense to him. [00:23:38] Speaker B: I'm in cash, hearing light. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. [00:23:42] Speaker F: Does anybody ever comprehend languages? [00:23:45] Speaker B: I don't. That's what I was looking for. [00:23:47] Speaker G: Somebody make a wizard. [00:23:48] Speaker H: Brianna will look around, be like, where's Twintallon? [00:23:53] Speaker I: Is there any way. Where is his bag of bloody bits? Compared to him and the rest of the group? [00:24:00] Speaker D: It's right next to him. He's sitting right by a campfire, okay. Eating. But it is sitting directly next to him. [00:24:11] Speaker C: Okay. [00:24:13] Speaker I: Do I think that with him being distracted by the group that I could get up close enough to see what's in that bag or. No, I guess it will be a. [00:24:21] Speaker D: Pose check against his, you know, perception. But, yeah, you could try. [00:24:28] Speaker I: All right, I'm gonna try. [00:24:30] Speaker D: All right. [00:24:30] Speaker C: What I. [00:24:31] Speaker D: What are the rest of you trying to do? Well, twin Talon is trying to sneak up. [00:24:37] Speaker I: Twin Talon will put his fingers to his lips as he's. Because I'm sure they see him, right? Like, the group sees him coming from behind. Help with his fingers. His lips, like, sh. [00:24:45] Speaker D: Okay, like, don't say anything. [00:24:48] Speaker I: Don't call out to me. Oh, there you are. [00:24:51] Speaker D: Be very very quiet. I am hunting wabbits. [00:24:55] Speaker H: Brianna will at least try and distract the man and keep trying to communicate. And even if it's just through hand gestures, be like, you know we mean no harms. Know with the hands up and pointy pointed at the person. Make the like the hand flip motions to the like who or what? [00:25:21] Speaker C: I don't know. [00:25:22] Speaker H: I'm going more arabic. But yes. [00:25:26] Speaker F: Saraya, if he is sufficiently distracted by Brianna is gonna focus slightly away from twin Talon but clearly not focusing on the guy. And try to like thumbs up, thumbs down. Like what is he saying? [00:25:42] Speaker I: Who is he? [00:25:44] Speaker C: Where are you? [00:25:45] Speaker D: Sorry. You're not batmaning it. [00:25:48] Speaker C: Gotcha. [00:25:49] Speaker F: No. She's literally just kind of like looking at Twin tower or like I said slightly to the side of him and just kind of being like yes. No, like does he look peaceful? What is he saying? I assume you understand. [00:26:00] Speaker D: Give me 1 second. It's gonna bring you over to a role playing map just so I can see where you all are to give you guys a better idea. [00:26:11] Speaker H: Sounds good. [00:26:13] Speaker I: So he's got long hair. Does he have a dunce cap on? What is he wearing? [00:26:17] Speaker C: I can't. [00:26:17] Speaker D: Yeah that's a hat. It's a hat. So he is sitting on a log. His weapon is up on the log across from him. [00:26:26] Speaker C: Okay that's the bow. [00:26:28] Speaker D: That's the bow. Yeah. And the bag is right next to him directly to the north. So as you guys are attempting to play nice, twin Talon is going to attempt to stealth up. So go ahead and give me your stealth check twin Talon. All right, so twin talon rolls a 23 for his stealth and I rolled their perception. They have no clue you're even nearby. [00:27:03] Speaker I: So what is in that bag? [00:27:05] Speaker D: In that bag. As you realize the bag is much larger on the inside than outside. And I don't know how, I can only reveal something to you Matt. Oh I know how. [00:27:19] Speaker H: Damn it. [00:27:21] Speaker D: I am going to show Matt. What is in. [00:27:26] Speaker C: What's in the box? [00:27:28] Speaker D: What's in the box? Matt, if you go to your journal, you should see something in there. [00:27:42] Speaker I: There's a person in there. [00:27:43] Speaker C: Wow. [00:27:44] Speaker D: Well unconscious but yes. You see that? That's what you see in there. [00:27:48] Speaker I: Okay. What the shit? Um, sorry. [00:27:53] Speaker F: Is still looking for like uh. Is this guy dangerous? [00:27:56] Speaker I: What's going on man? Uh, okay. Twin Talon is going to, you know, if we're going to a new round of encounter mode or. I'm sorry, exploration mode. Twin Talon is going to try to deal the bag and sneak away with it. [00:28:14] Speaker H: Oh no. [00:28:16] Speaker D: What are the rest of you doing? [00:28:18] Speaker I: So Twintalon also is gonna make some hand motions to the group, try to. [00:28:22] Speaker G: Be stealthy about it. [00:28:23] Speaker I: But he's going to basically put his fingers to his eyes, point to the bag. Then he's gonna make like flapping motions with his arms and then he's gonna draw a circle around his head. [00:28:37] Speaker F: He has the angel in the bag. [00:28:39] Speaker I: And then he's gonna grab the bag and try to make off with it. I mean you can't say that out loud, but no, but like that's the emotions that twin Talon made. [00:28:45] Speaker F: That's what's going through Saraya's head. Granted, if there were charades in common, I don't think he would understand anyway. But yes. [00:28:57] Speaker C: What? [00:28:58] Speaker H: So ah, okay. As Brianna stealing, lying, anything of that sort is completely not okay. [00:29:11] Speaker F: So lean over and just kind of whisper in comment even though she knows this guy apparently can't understand it. But I, I think he's saying that Rennuli's friend might be nearby. [00:29:22] Speaker D: With that, you see him stand up and you see his head spin 180 degrees. Nope. And in its place is the face of a snarling hyena. [00:29:44] Speaker C: What? No thank you. [00:29:48] Speaker D: The human eyes are looking directly at you, twin Talon. [00:29:54] Speaker B: He failed his perception check. [00:29:56] Speaker D: And with that we will find out what happens. [00:30:00] Speaker C: No. [00:30:01] Speaker I: What the next week? [00:30:03] Speaker C: No. [00:30:04] Speaker I: Kind of hyena transformer. [00:30:07] Speaker E: What is this creature? Where did it come from? What's in the bag? Did this creature have anything to do with Silver's disappearance?
