[00:00:57] Speaker E: Yeah, I can't do math in my head to calculate how many hours that would be, but yeah. Thanks, guys. [00:01:03] Speaker C: 191 hours. Roughly more than that. [00:01:06] Speaker D: Between, like, little minisodes and stuff. Anyway, what the hell were we doing? [00:01:10] Speaker F: They were eating dinner and we stabbed them. That's what I remember. [00:01:14] Speaker C: Yes, that's exactly right. [00:01:16] Speaker A: But before we jump into this game. [00:01:17] Speaker C: I need to talk to you all about my latest obsession. [00:01:20] Speaker A: And my wife's latest obsession doesn't have. [00:01:23] Speaker B: To do with bears, does it? [00:01:24] Speaker C: No, it does not have to do with bear. Well, I mean, there's no bears in. [00:01:27] Speaker D: It yet, as far as I can remember. [00:01:29] Speaker C: No. And this is a no plug. But Disney lorcana. [00:01:34] Speaker A: Not that Disney needs any support or. [00:01:36] Speaker C: Ravensburger needs any support, but it is. [00:01:39] Speaker A: A great card game. [00:01:40] Speaker C: I've really been enjoying it. Like, I haven't enjoyed a collectible card. [00:01:44] Speaker A: Game like this in a while, but. [00:01:46] Speaker C: It is a fabulous game. It has amazing art, and it has Disney characters. [00:01:52] Speaker D: It's really fun. It's one of those really simple to pick up, but the difficulty can really range depending on who you're playing with and how many people you're playing. So unlike a lot of the other TCG CCG stuff, this supports multi person play. [00:02:05] Speaker A: Out of the box. [00:02:06] Speaker D: Yeah, right out of the box. We did a seven person game at one of the open league nights, and it was the most glorious chaos I think I've ever witnessed. [00:02:13] Speaker C: Now, that being said, I do have. [00:02:15] Speaker A: A little side note. Actually, this isn't even a side note. This is just my advice to every person in the world. Be nice to the staff at your friendly local game store. Don't be mean. [00:02:27] Speaker C: Like, there is a serious distribution issue with Lorcana right now. [00:02:32] Speaker A: Like, the minute it lands anywhere, it's sold out. It's not their fault. Be nice to them if they want. [00:02:38] Speaker D: To sell it to you as much as you want to buy it. If they had it, they would. [00:02:41] Speaker A: Yeah, I've heard horror stories about people, like, yelling at the staff for not having it, and it's like, come on, guys, let's be better. [00:02:49] Speaker D: I know card games can bring out the worst in people, and I know Disney can bring out the worst in people, and they do kind of meet horrifically in a product shortage at the moment. But, like, for real. It's cardboard. You'll get it eventually. [00:03:00] Speaker A: All right, that's that. [00:03:01] Speaker C: Last time we were here, you guys. [00:03:03] Speaker A: Walked down a very, very long tunnel and you found what looked like a forge or an old workshop. [00:03:12] Speaker C: Sorry, you were coming from the hidden. [00:03:13] Speaker A: Forge to an old workshop. You dealt with some folks down there. [00:03:18] Speaker C: Who may or may not have looked. [00:03:20] Speaker A: Like members of this weird group. [00:03:21] Speaker C: I don't know if you've ever heard of them, the Scarlet Triad or something. [00:03:25] Speaker A: I don't know. [00:03:26] Speaker E: Never heard of them. [00:03:27] Speaker C: Never heard of them? Nope. [00:03:27] Speaker D: Yeah, I don't think they're important to this adventure path. [00:03:29] Speaker C: Nope. [00:03:30] Speaker A: Then you went upstairs by upstairs, I. [00:03:32] Speaker C: Mean up a floor and you found. [00:03:34] Speaker A: A shrine to drove Scottder, and you're. [00:03:37] Speaker C: Like, oh, that's gross. And then you walked into the next. [00:03:39] Speaker A: Room and you're like, oh, there's a. [00:03:41] Speaker C: Bunch of beds and lockers. And then I want to say twin. [00:03:45] Speaker A: Talon was listening to the door and heard people eating. [00:03:48] Speaker C: And you guys walked in and you. [00:03:51] Speaker A: Saw a bunch of humans sitting there. [00:03:55] Speaker C: Yes. [00:03:56] Speaker G: No, not what happened. [00:03:57] Speaker C: The floating eye yes. Knifesword sent his floating eye through the. [00:04:01] Speaker A: Rooms and saw the four people eating. [00:04:04] Speaker C: And then you came in here and started stabbing them while they were eating. [00:04:07] Speaker A: OOH opened a door to the north. [00:04:10] Speaker C: And suddenly scared the crap out of. [00:04:13] Speaker A: This person to your north who looks slightly different than the rest. [00:04:17] Speaker B: Now, why would I have opened a. [00:04:19] Speaker D: Door that doesn't seem like me? [00:04:23] Speaker F: I think that they opened the door. Weren't they like an alchemist or yes. [00:04:28] Speaker C: Yes, they were. [00:04:29] Speaker A: OOH's moving to attack them. [00:04:30] Speaker C: That's right. It's all coming back. Okay. [00:04:33] Speaker B: It's been a whole week. [00:04:35] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:04:35] Speaker C: You guys did a lot of damage and made a lot of people cry. [00:04:39] Speaker A: Mostly me. [00:04:40] Speaker C: It is now the start of round two, and it is serea's turd. [00:04:45] Speaker D: Okay. And I christine honestly can't remember if I was going to run around and try and help. No. I haven't even entered the room yet, so I couldn't remember if they were trying to flank or, like, trying to come from a different entrance or what. [00:04:57] Speaker C: No, you're in the back. [00:04:59] Speaker D: I'm going to see if I can take out this one that's right in front of Brianna that looks like it's near death and hopefully splash the one right behind it. So we're going to go with a tried and true alchemist. Oh, first roll of the night is in that one. And I'm going to hero point that. Yeah, we're going to hero point that. [00:05:16] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:05:17] Speaker B: Love how this starts. [00:05:19] Speaker D: All right, reroll using a hero point other side of the deck. 1236 to hit this one right here in front of Brianna. [00:05:28] Speaker C: 36 will hit. [00:05:29] Speaker E: Nice. [00:05:30] Speaker D: So it's going to hit her for 20 fire damage. Well, 17 plus the three persistent. And then it is going to splash the one behind her for three. [00:05:39] Speaker C: All right. And behind for three. [00:05:42] Speaker D: Let's see. That was one. Do they seem like they're the kind of people who are going to try to retreat or are they like, all right, defend this with your lives kind of people? [00:05:50] Speaker C: If I remember correctly, most of them haven't even been able to stand up from the table. [00:05:55] Speaker D: I mean, that's great for me. [00:05:56] Speaker C: Why'd you leave the Triad on the table. They wanted to sorry, we wanted to. [00:06:03] Speaker D: I'm going to take some lube action here and step in and try and get a better grip of what's happening. All right? So I'm going to take my second action to run into the room and up into this corner with next Art and OOH, and I'm going to do the lovely Alchemist fire again. I'm going to aim at the same one, but this time I'm going to try and do a 15 foot cone slash and hit this lady back here. [00:06:25] Speaker C: Both of them? Yeah. Okay, so the person to the south. [00:06:30] Speaker D: 29, looks like a miss is a miss. [00:06:32] Speaker C: Would you like to hero point that? [00:06:34] Speaker D: No, it's not a crit miss, so I'll stick with hopefully just the splash damage on her. [00:06:38] Speaker C: All right, and that's three slash, right? [00:06:41] Speaker D: Three fire splash. [00:06:42] Speaker E: That's good. [00:06:43] Speaker D: I hate that I missed on someone who's 10ft away when I can throw bombs 60ft. [00:06:50] Speaker C: Sometimes the close targets are harder to hit. [00:06:53] Speaker D: It's entertaining to me. I threw that first one through a doorway over my friend and still hit her. Came in and I'm like, all I had to do was roll it and it missed. [00:07:02] Speaker E: Well, maybe thematically she saw what you did and managed to get out of the way or whatever. [00:07:07] Speaker C: Maybe you lit her on fire screaming right now, trying to roll around, put. [00:07:14] Speaker E: Herself out, so you're like, stay still, I have another one. [00:07:19] Speaker D: Anyway, that is my three actions. [00:07:22] Speaker C: All right, next up is Twin Talon. [00:07:26] Speaker F: Oh boy. So Twin Talon yeah, there's one to the south, so he's going to attack that one who is close to being the deads. [00:07:35] Speaker C: All right, but Matt, what if you didn't and you turned on your friends and started stabbing like Brianna OOH, that. [00:07:43] Speaker F: Would be an interesting story moment, right? [00:07:47] Speaker E: What is this, a dark urge? [00:07:49] Speaker B: We know who's evil now. [00:07:51] Speaker F: How about instead I hit them with a 45? [00:07:53] Speaker C: That would be a critical yes. [00:07:56] Speaker F: Okay, I'm just going to take this card. [00:07:58] Speaker D: NBD just wanted to check. I just wanted to make sure he. [00:08:02] Speaker C: Had all his options. [00:08:03] Speaker F: Thank you. Thank you. So it is double damage, hobbled crit effect until healed. The target is clumsy too and takes a negative ten foot status penalty to all speeds. [00:08:14] Speaker C: Well, I doubt that they'll be around long enough to have that happen because you also, I believe, put a debilitating strike on this one. [00:08:21] Speaker F: It did, yeah. [00:08:23] Speaker C: Oh my God. [00:08:24] Speaker F: That's not all the damage, don't you worry about that. [00:08:27] Speaker D: How much overkill. [00:08:29] Speaker C: Oh, boy. [00:08:30] Speaker E: Anybody for some tartar? [00:08:31] Speaker F: No, Jasper is plus, that's 94 plus, pretty sure ooze, I'm going to ooze aura. So that's plus eight. So 102. [00:08:46] Speaker C: So let me just do some quick math here. So you did 94 more points of damage than necessary. [00:08:54] Speaker B: Cool. [00:08:55] Speaker C: Sheesh, would you like to explain how you splatter them all over the wall? [00:09:00] Speaker F: Twin Talon just grabs their hair and just shoves the short sword through the spine, comes out the throat, pulls it free, and they drop down into their pasta or whatever they're eating. Table face first. [00:09:12] Speaker D: Some Red Wedding shit. [00:09:13] Speaker E: Yeah, you see, Brianna grimace a little bit, like OOH. [00:09:16] Speaker C: The blood falls, mixing with their soup. It's now tomato bisque. [00:09:21] Speaker D: Don't think that's how that works. [00:09:23] Speaker G: I think it's called Larry. [00:09:24] Speaker D: Larry. No, we just point at a platter that is full of rotten. Just anyone for blood sausage? [00:09:33] Speaker C: Oh, no. Well, I hope everyone enjoyed Christine. This is her last no, no, just a joke. [00:09:43] Speaker F: So, at this point, Twintallen Whistles and Taysani comes swooping in around the north end of the room and landing on the eastern side of the other. I guess our scarlet tribe members sitting at the table. [00:09:54] Speaker C: Yes. [00:09:54] Speaker F: And Twin Talon will then attack them because they are now flat footed. [00:09:59] Speaker C: Not that you've had a chance, but you do notice that they all have the symbol on them, the scarlet triad symbol. Yes, sorry. [00:10:07] Speaker F: Okay, that's a 27 to hit. I think it's probably a miss. [00:10:10] Speaker C: Yes, that is a miss. Would you like to hero point that? [00:10:14] Speaker F: I have two, so yeah, I'll hero point that. [00:10:16] Speaker E: Might as well. [00:10:17] Speaker F: All right, let me reroll game. No, none of that. Okay, fine, I'll just roll again. There we go. How about 38 instead? [00:10:25] Speaker C: 38 will hit, but not crit. [00:10:28] Speaker F: Okay, that'll be plus four is 42 damage. And he'll put precise debilitation. And then for my third action, do I dare strike again? [00:10:39] Speaker E: That's a question in it. [00:10:41] Speaker F: We don't really know what their AC is. [00:10:43] Speaker D: 29 missed. [00:10:45] Speaker F: 27 missed. 38 hit, 29 missed. Let's say it's at least a 30, so I'd have to roll a ten. [00:10:53] Speaker C: Come on, what's the worst that happens? [00:10:54] Speaker F: Twin Talon is going to use preparation and bank one of his actions as a reaction for when Brianna hopefully attacks this person. [00:11:04] Speaker C: Gotcha. Gotcha. That's probably a smarter move. [00:11:07] Speaker E: No pressure. [00:11:08] Speaker F: Yeah, those attacks are my full base attack bonus. [00:11:11] Speaker C: Yeah, they are. I don't know if you can hear my teeth for why. Oh, no. [00:11:19] Speaker E: Oh, no. [00:11:19] Speaker C: Oh, no. Knife. Sword. Rob, you're up. [00:11:22] Speaker D: It's time for the sorcerer. [00:11:27] Speaker G: I'm going to use electric arc and see if I can hit the one next to the w Twin Talon and then the one across the table from them. [00:11:37] Speaker C: Okay, that's not so bad. That's not so bad. [00:11:39] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:11:40] Speaker C: All right, so the first one is going to roll a reflex save. That is a nine on the die for a 33, which is a regular success. So they'll take half damage, and the second one rolled an eight for 32, which is a failure. And actually, since they're sitting down, I'm actually going to take one away for both of them. So it's going to be a 32 and a 31. So that's a hit on both of them. [00:12:08] Speaker G: Okay. And that was a blind GM roll, unfortunately, so I don't know what? [00:12:12] Speaker C: I did 20 points of damage. [00:12:14] Speaker G: All right? And then I'm going to fire a one magic missile at the one next twin town. There a level two. [00:12:22] Speaker C: All right, one action magic missile for three points of damage. [00:12:27] Speaker E: Such a good spell. [00:12:28] Speaker G: Greatly is now I'll be deep in thought, trying to figure out how I can wreck the world for my next turn. [00:12:33] Speaker C: All right, great. All right, so it's my turn. No, I get to do something now. All right, so first action, you see them grab a flask off their bandolier and they see this terrifying green woman coming towards them, will throw an acid flask at OOH. Let's see. That is a six on the die for a 35. [00:13:09] Speaker B: I deflect with Brianna's shield. [00:13:11] Speaker E: I mean, I can't liberate oh, wait, no, I can't. I haven't gone yet, have I? [00:13:16] Speaker C: Yes. This is round two. [00:13:17] Speaker E: Oh, yeah, I have. [00:13:18] Speaker D: How is his AC lower than mine? [00:13:20] Speaker B: Am I raging? [00:13:21] Speaker D: That would do it. I keep forgetting. I forget. It reduces it. [00:13:24] Speaker B: I'm so angry. I can't help the acid. [00:13:26] Speaker C: All right, let's see how much damage we're going to do. One. [00:13:31] Speaker E: Do you really want me to liberate one? I think we're going to be okay. [00:13:35] Speaker B: No, it was very spicy, though. [00:13:37] Speaker F: Seems like a lot of build up for nothing. [00:13:39] Speaker D: I don't use it a lot, but that's how acaplast works. It does one now and until you save oh, right. [00:13:45] Speaker F: Which will take on her turn. [00:13:47] Speaker C: But here's the really fun thing about them. Bombs that have the splash trait deal eight extra splash damage and splash to 10ft. So that means oh, no. Brianna Twintallen, Serea and Knife Sword are all going to take eight splash damage. Wow. It's right. I'm an alchemist now. [00:14:17] Speaker D: I don't like it when my powers are used against me. [00:14:21] Speaker E: How rude. [00:14:23] Speaker C: That was their first action question. [00:14:25] Speaker D: Are they using Quick Alchemy or these pre prepared bombs? [00:14:28] Speaker C: Quick Alchemy. [00:14:29] Speaker D: Quick Alchemy is an action, and throwing it is an action even with Quick Bomber. Quick Bomber allows you to draw a pre made bomb and throw it in the same action. [00:14:37] Speaker E: Get them, Christine. [00:14:38] Speaker C: So her acid flask is greater infused. Does that mean it was a pre made bomb? [00:14:43] Speaker D: It depends on whether or not you're giving them daily prep stuff. Really? That's the question. Like, if they're written as they will use Quick Alchemy to do this, it is always going to take them two. [00:14:51] Speaker C: Right. All right. Yeah. I appreciate the rules lawyering approved. [00:14:56] Speaker E: Yeah, I'm christine, look, there are so. [00:14:58] Speaker D: Few things I know inside and out. [00:15:00] Speaker C: Okay? So I will say that the items that they have on them, according to the book, is four infused grater acid flasks. It's one to grab and throw, right? [00:15:12] Speaker D: Yes. If it's a premade thing you have on you, you can draw and throw it in the same action. [00:15:16] Speaker C: Okay, cool. Well, but because you were so good with your rules lawyering, I'm giving you the hero point. [00:15:22] Speaker D: Do you mean because I know the rules of my class so well? [00:15:26] Speaker C: Yeah. And I don't because I have so many other things to remember. I appreciate that. That's me saying thank you. [00:15:32] Speaker D: Thank you. I will take my hero point. [00:15:35] Speaker B: Hooray. [00:15:35] Speaker C: Yes. Second action will be to draw a red vial off of their belt and they will third action, swig it. As she drinks it, she starts to look more alive. All right, the Scarlet triad member across the table from Brianna will stand up for their first action and they will look at Brianna and go, uh oh. And then they oh, they tried that already. Alright, we're gonna try this. They start to wiggle their fingers and say some words. And I need Brianna to make a will saving throw. [00:16:23] Speaker E: Man, I wish I was able to have first edition rules about fear and being a paladin. [00:16:31] Speaker C: I know. [00:16:32] Speaker E: Come on. I failed take my hair point. [00:16:36] Speaker C: I will. [00:16:37] Speaker E: Because I feel like as a paladin. Come on now. Hello. [00:16:41] Speaker C: That is a critical success. [00:16:43] Speaker E: There we go. It was a 39 for folks at home. [00:16:46] Speaker C: So you feel some fear starting to wash over you and you're like, I'm a paladin FAM. And that's their turn. [00:16:54] Speaker E: Good job. [00:16:55] Speaker C: Thanks. Thank you. All right, this other Scarlet Triad agent will stand up and move 20ft and swing their rapier at twin talent. Boo. [00:17:09] Speaker F: I say 38. That's a hit. [00:17:12] Speaker C: All right. No, my boyfriend 18 points of piercing. [00:17:16] Speaker E: Damage -16 so he only takes two. [00:17:21] Speaker C: Because I liberate matt would you like to take any steps? [00:17:23] Speaker F: Yeah, I'll take two. [00:17:24] Speaker C: Oh, everyone can take two steps. [00:17:26] Speaker E: Except me. [00:17:28] Speaker B: I can take two steps towards my friend. [00:17:31] Speaker C: Yeah, you can move right towards soraya. [00:17:32] Speaker D: What I was going to follow behind OOH so I mean, the effect is the same, especially if they're gonna place me in a reagent rich environment. [00:17:40] Speaker C: So real quick, because OOH and Soraya are now inside the room, three stone tables along the south wall of this laboratory space are covered with alchemical gear. While to the north a noxious brew bubbles in a cauldron set into a large stone heart. [00:17:59] Speaker D: So there's something bubbling over here. [00:18:01] Speaker C: Yep. [00:18:01] Speaker B: Should have thrown adelbrain. [00:18:03] Speaker C: All right, well, those are all my actions, unfortunately. So now it's Brianna's turn. [00:18:08] Speaker E: Wonderful. Wonderful. Well, you see, it looks like these two lovely people have lined themselves up for me being able to step forward and flank with either my two besties depending on where I move. So I'm going to just take a step forward and flank with Taisani for now and do my Strikey. Strike. Come on. [00:18:30] Speaker C: Oh, net 20. [00:18:35] Speaker F: If they're still alive, I would like to react to murder. [00:18:38] Speaker C: Right. [00:18:39] Speaker E: All right. Well, surprisingly, Brianna got for the card is called triple cut and it's triple. [00:18:47] Speaker F: Damage back to form. [00:18:48] Speaker E: Back to form. Exactly. So I'll just roll regular for now and then. That's a very nice number to multiply by three, so oh, wait, never mind. I have to keep remembering that one of those two numbers, I don't remember which one does not go through. [00:19:04] Speaker C: Positive does not go through. But the good does. [00:19:07] Speaker E: But they're both two anyway. So 19 times three is 57 points of damage. [00:19:12] Speaker C: You hear this Scarlet triad member scream out in pain as you cut into them. They're still standing, but for how long? [00:19:19] Speaker F: I'll take my reactive murder now. [00:19:21] Speaker C: Thank you. Yeah. [00:19:23] Speaker B: Why you have to be so mad? [00:19:25] Speaker F: It's a 43 to hit. [00:19:26] Speaker C: Oh, that is a critical hit right in the ear. [00:19:32] Speaker F: Normal damage. The target is deafened until healed. [00:19:35] Speaker C: What? [00:19:37] Speaker F: So that is 42 damage. [00:19:43] Speaker C: Would you like to describe how you splatter her all over Brianna's shield and armor? [00:19:48] Speaker F: So Brianna knocks her back, and Twin town stabs her right through the ear, comes out the other side, and Twintown pulls his blade free, and she just crumples straight down to the ground. [00:19:58] Speaker E: You see Brianna wrinkle her nose and her friend be like, you scare me sometimes. She'll kind of, like, touch her ear. [00:20:04] Speaker D: Like, who knows what they meant to them? They said they wanted piercings. [00:20:08] Speaker F: And as the Scarlet tribe member to the north is looking on in horror, twintown's gonna wipe his blade off on her cape. [00:20:16] Speaker C: All right, Haya, you have one more action attack. [00:20:19] Speaker E: All right, so she will then turn to the second Scarlet tribe member, who is hopefully distracted by Twintown wiping her friend's blood on her cape. And I roll a 29. [00:20:33] Speaker C: That is a miss. [00:20:35] Speaker E: Yeah, that's fine. And that's my turn. [00:20:38] Speaker C: All right. Oh, no, it is your turn. [00:20:43] Speaker B: Yeah. Be afraid. Be afraid of me. [00:20:46] Speaker C: I am. [00:20:47] Speaker B: I would like to give this dude a silencing strike. All right, 43. [00:20:56] Speaker C: 43 is a hit, not a crypt.
