[00:00:39] Speaker A: Hello, everyone, and welcome back to another episode of the Cracked Eye podcast. My name is Matt. I play twintalon on the show. I just want to wish everyone a very happy new year. Hopefully you joined us for our January 1 Twitch stream, but if you missed it, whether on purpose or on accident, our next stream is the 15th, January 15, from 01:00 p.m. to 04:00 p.m. eastern time at Twitch TV.
Cracked eye C R A C K e d d I E. As you may or may not be aware, Haya is still trapped overseas. So in lieu of her normal attention to detail and excellent audio production, the background soundscaping has been left to me. So I hope you enjoy the episode, and maybe my ham fisted approach to soundscaping will give you some appreciation for all that Haya does for us here at the podcast. Whether it's soundscaping or the variety of other things that she takes on for us, hopefully she will be home safe soon, for all of our sakes. And now, episode 110 of the Crack Die podcast. Let's go fly a kite.
[00:02:04] Speaker B: Welcome to the hundred and 10th episode of the Cracked Die podcast.
[00:02:10] Speaker C: Yeah, 110.
[00:02:10] Speaker D: That's where it all ends.
[00:02:12] Speaker E: All right, 110.
[00:02:13] Speaker F: 110. 110.
[00:02:16] Speaker B: Okay, that's great. So last episode, we finished the fight in sunset imports. You finally took care of that golem, which was terrifying, and then you freed Handy Vosh, or Hundi Vasht. Sorry. H u n d y. Hundy vosh. Hundi. Vosh told you that he was a member of a secret group called the Bellflower Network, which is an abolitionist group working to free slaves, but specifically half lane slaves. All slaves. But their main target is freeing halfling slaves from teliacs. He told you that there were three locations in the town here that he told them about, because those are the only three he knows. One of them was called Kite Hill, one of them was called the long Roads coffee house, and one of them was lady decurs school for girls. Now, in my rush to give you all of the exposition, I forgot a couple things. So let me kind of go over each of these sites again and see if this changes how you want to handle things. So, number one, Kite Hill is, as I said, a message dispatch site. Kite Hill is a very public venue and knows that there is a kite flying event that happens there today. It was organized by someone named Noly Peltry. N o l l y p e l t r ydez. Hundi tells you that she is the network leader in Contago. He's asked you if you wouldn't mind traveling there first to let Noli know of the Scarlet triad and that they may strike at her at any moment. If you go there first, Hundi will travel with you so that he can provide an introduction. Next up is the Long Roads Coffee house, which is a secret meeting site for the Bellflower network. It is a famous cafe owned by Laurana Long Road, a public figure, and a secret bellflower agent. And Hundi has revealed as much to the Scarlet triad. He asks if you would pay visit to the coffee house. As soon as that, you alert Noli so that Larana can be warned to go into hiding. And lastly, Lady Decor's school for girls is a private boarding school and a safe house for the Bellflower network. And the headmistress is a ally to the Bellflower network. Lady decur herself. So those are the three locations. I know we ended last week with you guys trying to figure out if you're gonna split the party. Yes, do that.
Or go to Kite Hill, go to the long roads coffee house, go to Lady Decor school for girls. So let me just hear what you guys are thinking and your arguments. All of them are to the north of where you are. Sunset imports is very much to the south. Kite Hill is northeast and kind of raises above the town. The long roads coffee house is almost directly north, and Lady Dukors School for girls is northwest.
[00:05:20] Speaker C: So, I mean, it wouldn't do us bad to go to find the head of the Bellflower network and ingratiate ourselves to her with hundi making an introduction, that'd be nice. And if we can then send messages to the other two locations from the first location we go to, I mean, there's something. There is definitely value in that.
[00:05:38] Speaker E: Yeah, I agree.
[00:05:39] Speaker F: That sounds good to me.
[00:05:40] Speaker B: Oh, hey, so let me give you some images. So you guys decided to head to Kite Hill? Kite Hill. That's Hundi. We all know what Hundi looks like.
[00:05:52] Speaker D: Mutton chops for days.
[00:05:53] Speaker B: Mutton chops for days.
[00:05:55] Speaker D: Little ginger halfling, dude.
[00:05:56] Speaker B: Poor guy. Kite Hill rises just north of the greenshouse, Contago's Nobles district. You see that there are many, many, many kites being flown all over here. There is a. There's a kite festival going on today, and when you arrive, there are nearly a hundred people of all ages and ancestries enjoying the day, flying kites.
[00:06:25] Speaker F: Thank you.
[00:06:31] Speaker B: You see that there are some people around, literally on small soapboxes, some speaking out against Nadal and the doom that awaits Contago for allying with the shadowy nation and there are others counter protesting. Not protesting, but counter arguments. Lively debate is taking shape here. Theres no obvious evidence of either the scarlet triad in this area or bellflower operatives. You see a small stall with a sign that reads free kites and its doing brisk business handing out homemade kites to anyone who wants to try their hand. You see a middle aged halfling woman operating the stall and boasts about how shes made each kite herself. Hundi leans over and whispers, that's her. That's noly.
[00:07:22] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:07:22] Speaker B: And this is what noly looks like.
[00:07:25] Speaker F: Oh she's so cute.
[00:07:29] Speaker D: Woman halfling.
[00:07:30] Speaker C: Okay, so she looks like a halfling.
[00:07:31] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:07:33] Speaker C: She has her ear pasted on the outside of her hair.
[00:07:37] Speaker B: She is blonde with blue gray eyes. She is wearing a brown leather apron. I'm gonna give you another picture of her as well. She obviously does not have the trowel over her shoulder, but oh but she's so.
[00:07:53] Speaker D: Does she have the giant mug of coffee?
[00:07:55] Speaker B: Ah yes. It's still kind of like really ish in the day.
Finally Hundi tells you guys all right, we should go talk to her.
[00:08:05] Speaker D: Is there some kind of passphrase to indicate that we are here on behalf of belt mom?
[00:08:09] Speaker B: Oh no. I'll introduce you all. And she looks up and notices. She says, you lot look like you could do with some kite flying. Says the halfling, proprietor of the makeshift stall. With a cheerful voice she asks, which one strikes your fancy? She gestures to the many kites hanging around the simple frame of the stall. I've had a few butterflies left and a couple boxes. Ooh, and plenty of classic diamonds. I have orange, chartreuse, crimson, violet, coral, yellow. Pick any, they're free. Help us protest against the drab Nidalees. Diplomats infiltrating our beloved Kentago, showing them all the colors the sky can hold. I can help you make your choice and get you up and flying. If you've never flown before, twin Talon's.
[00:08:58] Speaker C: Gonna look at her and then look at this halfling who looks like he's been just got the shit kicked out of him and see if she is making any rec. Like does she? I don't know. It just seems like she didn't have any sign of recognition. So now I'm wondering if like if he is who he says he is.
[00:09:14] Speaker B: She kind of leans in and you hear her whisper, now you're all heroes for saving hundi here. He's a brave man and a good friend. I've heard the rumors of the scarlet triad, but they've been devilishly difficult to pin down, but it looks like they got him.
[00:09:28] Speaker C: Well, uh, he's here now. He. He said that if we brought him here, he would make introductions.
[00:09:36] Speaker B: Yes, yes. I I'm. Give me a moment so I can close up the stall. And you see that there's still a lot of people around her, general citizens, I guess, like who may or may not know about the bellflower network. She's. She. She hands each of you a set of red diamond kites and a. And purple box kites and says, oh, well, to the rest of the crowd, oh, well, these fine travelers have never flown a kite before. Can you believe that? And the whole crowd goes, what you hear? Murmuring, Rutabaga. Rutabaga. I'm gonna have to close my stall for a little bit and show them the joys of kite flying. Now, I'll be back in a few moments, but just if you see a kite that you would like, please feel free to take it. Just let me know if you need anything. And she gestures for you to follow her.
[00:10:25] Speaker C: I'll follow her.
[00:10:27] Speaker B: Her cheerful demeanor kind of darkens a little bit. And she says, hi. Yes, sorry about the delay. I have a perceptions need to be maintained, especially when we're fighting against dangers in our own city. Yes, my name is Noli Peltry.
I'm in charge of the bellflower network here. Do you tell her the. What you guys discovered and what Hundi has really revealed?
[00:10:58] Speaker C: It is it's come to our attention that your network may be compromised due to some light torture.
[00:11:05] Speaker D: Yes, there are some locations that may.
[00:11:07] Speaker C: Need to be warned, including this one.
[00:11:09] Speaker B: You see Hundi kind of blanch with, like, embarrassment and, like, shame that he's put the entire network in and Noly walks over to him and pats him on the shoulder.
It's understood. You look like you've seen better days. And if they were indeed torturing you, as these folks told us, told me, you stood up better than I would have. So here's the plan. Yes, we can send messages to our other sites around the area. We use kites to send messages sometimes since the whole city can see them on a clear day like today, we can use this method to signal and warn them. And as you look around, you notice that there are lots of colors of kites in the sky, but you specifically don't notice any red diamond kites or purple box kites. She smiles and says, we use the kites on days like this when there's a large amount of people flying kites that to signal, and we are the only ones who have these kites, these colors. Of course, we can't really convey fine details with kites, but we can get enough of a warning out like this. We'll put up a combination of red triangular kites to represent the scarlet triad, and we'll use some purple box kites to represent the bellflower network safe houses. Once in the air, we'll need to guide the red kites to smash into the purple ones. Anyone not in the network won't realize what it is, but anyone in the network will realize that the red kites are meant to represent an enemy. They might not know who, but they'll all know that our safe houses are in danger and Contago is in danger. As the purple box kites get attacked time and time again, our agents will know to scatter and hide, and hopefully we'll be able to deal with these scarlet triad villains. Is that something you could help with?
[00:13:03] Speaker C: This seems like a very specific kite message that you have prepared for making sure no one in the city has read diamond or purple box kites and with very specific meaning. But sure, you want us to fly kites? And we're gonna look around his friends.
I'm sure we can handle that.
[00:13:23] Speaker D: So we can manage.
[00:13:24] Speaker B: Excellent. Excellent. If you can do that, I'm going to take Hunt to go get some help and some get cleaned up a bit. Yeah.
[00:13:33] Speaker C: If you have any spare fingernails, I think he would appreciate that.
[00:13:37] Speaker F: Okay, so before we continue, I would have hoped that I would have done something about healing everybody.
[00:13:43] Speaker B: Yes, you. Absolutely. No, no, you absolutely have. Absolutely.
But still, like, yeah, of course.
[00:13:50] Speaker F: He's. He's probably still fucked up.
[00:13:51] Speaker B: Yeah, he's definitely like, oh, I've. I've had a bit of a day, sure.
[00:13:58] Speaker F: I just hadn't had a chance to.
[00:13:59] Speaker B: I assume because after you healed to Sani, you said you were gonna heal everyone else up as well, so. Yep, yep. Everyone should be good and healthy. Good.
[00:14:11] Speaker D: Ooh.
[00:14:11] Speaker E: Just love the colors. And it's so decided to fly a kite. It doesn't matter if it's, like, anything important, it's just like, oh, my God.
[00:14:17] Speaker B: Kites. This is great.
[00:14:19] Speaker F: I like flying kites.
[00:14:20] Speaker B: Woo.
[00:14:23] Speaker F: Shall we go fly kite?
[00:14:24] Speaker E: Ooh, I wanted to go fly kites. Let's go. Is there somewhere we need to be specifically for this? That's a good question.
[00:14:32] Speaker B: Just up on the hill.
[00:14:34] Speaker E: Anywhere?
[00:14:35] Speaker B: Yeah, anywhere.
[00:14:35] Speaker E: We can all be huddled together. We can be far out. Doesn't matter.
[00:14:38] Speaker B: Doesn't matter.
[00:14:39] Speaker D: Close enough together to have the red kites attack the purple ones.
[00:14:43] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:14:44] Speaker D: Well, shall we?
[00:14:45] Speaker C: I suppose we have a little choice.
[00:14:47] Speaker E: Who starts ushering people out? Come on, guys. Let's go fly kites. Cat flying.
[00:14:52] Speaker D: I love how enthusiastic you are.
[00:14:54] Speaker F: Right? It's very sweet.
[00:14:55] Speaker G: Knife swords tangled in a kite string.
[00:14:57] Speaker F: Oh, no.
[00:14:58] Speaker C: Immediately upon picking it up.
[00:15:01] Speaker G: Yep.
[00:15:03] Speaker B: If you would like to get a kite in the air, if you would like to try it yourself, you can make an acrobatics check. If someone would like to assist you, you still make an acrobatics check, but the difficulty drops by five.
[00:15:19] Speaker C: Can you assist someone and also fly a kite?
[00:15:21] Speaker B: So basically, when you assist someone, you're gonna. One person holds the kite up and kind of runs with it and helps them get it in the air. So it would be one person flying. One person help me. Okay, so no, the short answer is great.
[00:15:34] Speaker D: Well, I can have Jasper help me.
[00:15:36] Speaker C: But I mean, like, one person can assist someone and then assist someone else. Like, it's not like.
[00:15:41] Speaker B: Right, right. You could assist multiple people and then you can try to. I mean, so yes, eventually you could all get your own. But we're gonna take this in like an initiative. In fact, I'm gonna have you all role initiatives.
[00:15:55] Speaker D: Are we using acrobatics?
[00:15:57] Speaker B: You can use acrobat. Yes, let's use acrobatics as our initiative role.
[00:16:01] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:16:02] Speaker G: You said acrobatics, right?
[00:16:03] Speaker C: Correct.
[00:16:04] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:16:04] Speaker F: Mm hmm.
[00:16:05] Speaker G: I'm not that bad at acrobatics.
[00:16:07] Speaker F: Yeah, neither am I. And yet.
[00:16:09] Speaker B: All right, let's go with everyone's initiative, starting with Saraya. What did you get?
[00:16:15] Speaker D: 1919.
[00:16:17] Speaker B: All right. And then Brianna, what did you get?
[00:16:20] Speaker F: I believe I got a 17.
[00:16:22] Speaker B: Right. Knife, sword, what did you get?
[00:16:24] Speaker G: A 36.
[00:16:26] Speaker B: 36. Okay. Ooh, what did you get?
[00:16:30] Speaker E: Ooh, has 27.
[00:16:32] Speaker B: All right. And twin Talon, what did you get?
[00:16:34] Speaker C: Twintalen? I got a respectable 40.
[00:16:38] Speaker G: Lies.
[00:16:40] Speaker B: Lies. Okay, well, you still beat knife sword for the first time, even though he rolled a natural 20.
[00:16:46] Speaker C: Yeah, having bonuses is helpful. I rolled a 16 to get that.
[00:16:49] Speaker B: Okay, so, twin Talon, are you going to try and fly the kite or help someone with the kite?
[00:16:54] Speaker C: So I feel like I could easily fly the kite myself. However, I will attempt to help other people because you said that if I help them, it gives them a plus five, basically.
[00:17:04] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:17:04] Speaker C: I don't know what the DC is, but that's much better than the normal eight another. So I'll do that.
[00:17:09] Speaker B: Okay, so who are you going to help?
[00:17:11] Speaker C: Whoever has the lowest check result, which I think was Brianna.
[00:17:14] Speaker B: Brianna, yes.
[00:17:15] Speaker C: Okay, then I will. I will assist Brianna.
[00:17:18] Speaker B: Okay, then we'll go to knife story. Knife start. Are you going to help someone fly a kite or are you going to just fly a kite by yourself?
[00:17:27] Speaker G: Neither, as I'm tangled in the cord currently. I'm just going to levitate me in the kite up into the air.
[00:17:32] Speaker B: Okay.
I really appreciate that.
Ooh. What are you doing? Are you gonna be flying a kite yourself or are you going to be helping someone?
[00:17:46] Speaker E: Can I help somebody?
[00:17:48] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:17:49] Speaker E: Does Saraya need help still?
[00:17:51] Speaker B: Yeah, Saraya hasn't.
[00:17:52] Speaker D: Yeah, I haven't done anything yet.
[00:17:53] Speaker E: Okay. Yeah, I'll help Saraya.
[00:17:55] Speaker B: All right, cool. Saraya, give me an athletics check or acrobatics check. I'm sorry.
[00:18:01] Speaker D: Oof.
[00:18:02] Speaker F: All right.
[00:18:02] Speaker D: Hopefully I can do something good on the die.
[00:18:04] Speaker B: Well, the difficulty is reduced by five.
[00:18:06] Speaker E: Five.
[00:18:08] Speaker D: Fingers crossed it's a 14.
[00:18:11] Speaker B: That with the help, will get the kite in the air.
[00:18:15] Speaker D: Sweet. Thank you.
[00:18:16] Speaker B: All right.
[00:18:17] Speaker D: Thank you very much.
[00:18:19] Speaker E: Yes. Gotta share the love of flying kites, you know.
[00:18:22] Speaker B: Brianna, can you please give me a acrobatics roll?
[00:18:28] Speaker F: Sure, I'd love to.
[00:18:30] Speaker B: Great.
[00:18:30] Speaker F: That was a 29.
[00:18:32] Speaker B: That will hurt critically succeed. So you get your kite up in the air and it is flying. Flying.
[00:18:38] Speaker C: Need my help after all.
[00:18:39] Speaker F: I was gonna say that normally my acrobatics is not that bad. I learned from you.
[00:18:44] Speaker C: Mm hmm.
[00:18:45] Speaker B: I learned it by watching you. Okay.
[00:18:46] Speaker F: I mean, should see our childhood, but yes.
[00:18:49] Speaker B: Oh, boy.
Okay, so after a few minutes, um.
[00:18:54] Speaker D: Because u going to try and fly her own kite now.
[00:18:58] Speaker B: Town, are you going to fly your own kite?
[00:19:00] Speaker E: Yes, please.
[00:19:01] Speaker C: Yeah, absolutely.
[00:19:02] Speaker B: All right. Give me a acrobatics, please.
[00:19:07] Speaker C: Right, right.
[00:19:09] Speaker E: 32.
[00:19:10] Speaker B: Yeah, you get it up in the air.
[00:19:15] Speaker F: Who do you specified?
[00:19:17] Speaker B: I had to.
[00:19:18] Speaker C: It's who 40?
[00:19:21] Speaker F: Hell yeah.
[00:19:22] Speaker B: Yeah, you also get it up. Twin Talon.
[00:19:24] Speaker C: See, I think I'm cheating, though. I think probably Tasani is just flying my kite up.
I'm like, I'm so good at kite flying.
I rolled a 40.
[00:19:33] Speaker B: Right.
[00:19:33] Speaker C: It sounds good.
[00:19:34] Speaker B: So you have the kites up the air and Noli has returned. As you can see, she is standing behind you. And go ahead and arrange yourselves on this, this map a little bit. Just so where you're flying your kites and where you're standing.
[00:19:48] Speaker C: I would like to point out that her name is Noly, and I think that she is Lazlin in disguise.
[00:19:54] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:19:57] Speaker F: Wait a minute, is it with a.
[00:19:59] Speaker C: Gn two spell that? Oh, no.
[00:20:03] Speaker E: Who is that?
[00:20:04] Speaker F: The halfling.
[00:20:05] Speaker D: The one who gave us the kites.
[00:20:07] Speaker C: Yeah. I want to put her in the middle of us. Yeah, just because apparently they're coming for her too. So if they come for her while we're kite flying, I'd rather be able to protect her.
[00:20:15] Speaker B: And I'm just gonna put knife, sword 20ft in the air.
[00:20:19] Speaker G: Okay.
[00:20:20] Speaker F: Checks out.
[00:20:21] Speaker B: Seems right because he's levitating himself and the kite.
[00:20:24] Speaker G: I'm probably upside down.
[00:20:25] Speaker D: It's like hanging by an ankle.
[00:20:27] Speaker G: Yeah.
[00:20:28] Speaker B: So as you get the kites up in the air and start flying, you suddenly see and Nollie is very happy and excited that you're all doing so well. From out of nowhere, as if a door to another dimension opened up, you would, you hear shrieks.
[00:20:49] Speaker F: Oh, dear.
[00:20:50] Speaker B: And you hear a bellowing for the umbral lord.
And combat has begun.
[00:20:59] Speaker C: Man. Do you know who the umbral lord is?
[00:21:00] Speaker B: I don't know. Do you? Give me a, give me a check.
[00:21:02] Speaker D: What kind of check?
[00:21:03] Speaker B: You know what the umbral court is because you brought a person from the umb, right?
[00:21:09] Speaker C: From the doll. Right?
[00:21:10] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. So you would probably, I would assume you would know what the, who the umbral lord is.
[00:21:15] Speaker C: Are you going to tell me or.
[00:21:17] Speaker D: Are you going to elaborate on that?
[00:21:18] Speaker B: Yeah, you know that the umbral lord is the highest position on the umbral court.
[00:21:25] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:21:26] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:21:27] Speaker B: So it seems like this is a Nidalee creature, or from nidal at least.
[00:21:33] Speaker C: We're gonna have to have a strong talk with our friend once we get out of this business.
[00:21:37] Speaker F: The gentleman we brought back, the guy.
[00:21:40] Speaker C: With the lip ring, that's literally all I remember about him is he's got a lip ring and he's not an elf.
[00:21:45] Speaker F: Not an elf.
[00:21:45] Speaker D: You've seen green eyes.
[00:21:47] Speaker B: He's a fetchling.
[00:21:48] Speaker E: I feel like we would just look over at him like, shut up, you're ruining my kite flying.
[00:21:54] Speaker B: So you see a bunch of people start running from it and it grabs a random citizen and just peels it apart like it's a firecracker and just pops him in two pieces.
[00:22:07] Speaker F: Wait, he grabbed a citizen and ripped them in two?
[00:22:11] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:22:11] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:22:12] Speaker C: Also, how do you use firecrackers?
[00:22:15] Speaker B: There's ones you pull on either end and they pop. They're like poppers.
[00:22:18] Speaker F: Oh, you're thinking the Christmas party.
[00:22:21] Speaker G: Poppers, Christmas crackers.
[00:22:23] Speaker F: You were adorable.
[00:22:24] Speaker B: This is what the creature looks like, by the way.
[00:22:27] Speaker C: Oh, geez.
[00:22:28] Speaker F: Oh, hello.
[00:22:29] Speaker C: That looks like a militant praying mantis.
[00:22:31] Speaker D: Yeah, like mantis. Spider with gold bangles, blue.
[00:22:35] Speaker B: And it is indeed holding a spear.
[00:22:37] Speaker C: He fancy, though.
[00:22:38] Speaker F: He's so fancy.
[00:22:39] Speaker B: So it's a good thing you guys rolled initiative already. Oh, look how convenient that was.
Twin Talon, you are up first. All right, I guess I should probably describe the creature to the people who can't see this picture. It is a blue insectoid creature. It has teeth and big buggy blue eyes, but it also has, like, ant mandibles and has four legs and a weird, like, cockroach back end and almost.
[00:23:09] Speaker F: Like, moth like antenna. And bangles on its appendages. Gold bangles.
[00:23:14] Speaker D: Gold bangles on all six legs, arms, whatever you want to call them.
[00:23:17] Speaker F: He's so fancy.
[00:23:17] Speaker B: It has four legs and two arms.
[00:23:19] Speaker F: He's so extra. He look like a man. Wait. Nope, nope, nope.
[00:23:23] Speaker E: You look like a mantis.
[00:23:26] Speaker F: There we go.
Thank you. Thank you, Heidi. Thank you.
[00:23:30] Speaker B: You're welcome.
[00:23:31] Speaker E: I'm here.
[00:23:32] Speaker C: Save the day.
All right, so, like. Cause my whole point is to crash this kite into another kite, right?
[00:23:37] Speaker B: Right.
[00:23:38] Speaker C: So what do I have to do to make that happen so that I can now go stab this thing instead?
[00:23:41] Speaker B: So if you want to keep flying the kite, you can make an acrobatics check to perform the kite trick that you are attempting to do. You can let go of the kite and it will fly away, or you can take two actions to move over to Nollie and hand her the kite, and she can maintain the quote unquote acrobatics of the. Of the kite.
[00:24:05] Speaker C: So it's a single action to do the kite maneuver, right?
[00:24:08] Speaker B: Correct.
[00:24:09] Speaker C: But I'm just gonna do that. So I feel like once I crash my kite, like, there's no. Nothing I have to do. Right? Right. Okay. Just make sure I'm not, like, thinking about this incorrectly. So, yeah, if it's just one action to finish the kite thing, I'm gonna do that first, and then I cannot worry about it.
[00:24:23] Speaker B: All right, so go ahead. And what is your. Give me a second. What is your acrobatics bonus plus?
[00:24:29] Speaker C: 22.
[00:24:29] Speaker B: Yeah, you roll merely to see if you roll a. If you roll a one, then it fails.
[00:24:36] Speaker C: I rolled a three, so it's 25.
[00:24:38] Speaker B: That's fine. Yeah. You. Your bonus is higher than the DC, so.
[00:24:42] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:24:42] Speaker B: It doesn't really matter. So you successfully perform the trick of crashing a kite into another kite. And now that was one success. Maybe you need a certain number of successes to warn people. Maybe not. Who knows?
[00:24:58] Speaker F: Mehdeh me.
[00:25:00] Speaker C: Who's to say?
[00:25:01] Speaker B: Who's to say? The writer of this book.
[00:25:03] Speaker C: Yeah, who is the writer of this book, by the way? I don't think it's James Sutter.
[00:25:06] Speaker B: No, it's not James Sutter. It is Ron Lundin and Stephanie Lundeen. Oh, yeah, the Lundines.
[00:25:14] Speaker C: The Lundeens. Okay, so, so then for my second action, Twintalant is going to draw his short sword. And third action, he's gonna get up and friendly with this mantis. And then Taysani's action is going to be to fly around to be opposite twin Talon. Actually, no, Titania is going to move up to it.
[00:25:39] Speaker B: Okay, let me just see if I can do anything fun.
[00:25:43] Speaker C: So Titania took a step. Action.
[00:25:46] Speaker B: Okay, that's fine.
[00:25:48] Speaker C: So just to set the scene for people who don't see, noly is in the center of us. And this thing is to the northwest, right next to Teisani. So Taysani just basically stepped up. When Talon was to the south. He did his kite thing and he moved up to the northwest to engage with it. So he is between the blue mantis and Enoli.
[00:26:07] Speaker B: Okay. There is a thing I need you and Tasani to do.
[00:26:14] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:26:14] Speaker B: So, yeah. Anyone within 10ft. So let me actually give this creature kind of an aura, if you will, just so we can all keep me honest. Unless you don't want me to stay honest and I can cheat. There is a pulsing blue light around this creature. This is an aura that if you step within it, you need to make me a will save.
[00:26:42] Speaker C: I guess we have to make will saves. Yeah.
[00:26:44] Speaker B: Yes, please.
[00:26:45] Speaker C: Okay, so twin talen rolls a 33.
[00:26:48] Speaker B: Okay, nice. 33 you are.
You succeed.
[00:26:54] Speaker C: Okay. Great design.
[00:26:56] Speaker F: I hope so.
[00:26:57] Speaker C: Tisane rolls 25.
[00:26:58] Speaker B: 25 is a fail.
[00:27:01] Speaker C: Well, she only rolled a seven, so what's the effect of it? Can I know that before I decide he's a hero point?
[00:27:06] Speaker B: Yeah, absolutely. With a failure, you are frightened two. With a success, you are frightened one.
[00:27:11] Speaker C: What?
[00:27:13] Speaker F: Can, can I help in any. I can't liberate. That's not, it's not damaging, right?
[00:27:18] Speaker B: No, it is not.
[00:27:19] Speaker C: Nor is it, like, constricting. It's just stupid.
Frightened us gives you like a negative one to all things, basically.
[00:27:28] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:27:29] Speaker C: All right, that's fine. Taysonic would be scared.
[00:27:31] Speaker B: Okay. Oh, just, also, just so you all know, you all have a hero point. But more importantly, you all have a second hero point from the roleplay and everything you guys have done with, with Miss Mick Vasht. Yeah. There we go.
[00:27:48] Speaker F: Got it.
Cool. Thanks.
[00:27:51] Speaker B: Yes. You all have two hero points currently. Remember, the second one that you all have continues to roll over until you use it. Okay. Knife, sword. You are 20ft in the air.
[00:28:02] Speaker G: This is a cool view. So was I facing the right direction to see that? Guy do that thing to that person?
[00:28:07] Speaker B: Uh, yes. I'm gonna say yes.
[00:28:10] Speaker G: Okay. All right. So I'm gonna cast chilling darkness at him, but I'm pretty sure once I do that, it's gonna break my concentration and I'm gonna hit the ground.
[00:28:18] Speaker B: And you are 20ft in the air. So that is some falling damage.
[00:28:22] Speaker C: Well, yeah, concentration, just an action you take every round, right?
[00:28:25] Speaker B: Oh, that's true. That is.
[00:28:26] Speaker C: So if I, if chilling darkness is two actions or fewer, you can take one action to concentrate. Two actions for chilling darkness, and then you don't have to fall to your death.
[00:28:34] Speaker G: Okay, I'll do that.
[00:28:36] Speaker C: Or you can fall. That's up to you. I'm just trying to help out, let you know your options.
[00:28:39] Speaker G: I was just accepting that's what was going to happen.
[00:28:43] Speaker B: 22 will miss.
[00:28:46] Speaker G: I'm going to reroll that.
[00:28:47] Speaker B: Okay, so using one hero point better. I don't know. What's your total?
[00:28:51] Speaker G: 38.
[00:28:51] Speaker B: Yeah, that'll hit.
[00:28:53] Speaker C: But I have a sneaking suspicion coal damage is not going to do anything.
[00:28:57] Speaker G: Oh, well, he is blue 27 cold.
[00:29:00] Speaker B: All right. You see the ray of cold fly and hit him purely in the chest and he looks up at you. Okay. Ooh. It is your turn.
[00:29:11] Speaker E: All right, I need to take my action in order to get the kites to crash together, right?
[00:29:18] Speaker B: Correct, correct.
[00:29:19] Speaker E: What do I need to roll for that again?
[00:29:21] Speaker B: Acrobatics.
[00:29:22] Speaker E: Alright, so let's do that first.
Nat, 24, 40.
[00:29:27] Speaker B: I'm gonna count that as a double success. So, yes, you not only do you manage to do the trick of crashing and send the signal, you get two successes instead of one, if, you know, again, if there was any reason you needed to count successes.
[00:29:43] Speaker E: Now, this bug creature has got me in a real tight mess right now because I, I was really enjoying my kite flying and then he has to come up and be all like evil and nonsense. So I immediately rage and I'm gonna move over there and try to swipe at him.
[00:30:01] Speaker B: Okay, so you're gonna rage in sudden charge.
[00:30:04] Speaker E: I can rage as a barbarian for free action or.
[00:30:07] Speaker B: No, no.
[00:30:08] Speaker E: Okay, so I'm gonna rage and I'm gonna, I. The sudden charge is two actions, is it?
[00:30:15] Speaker C: It is, yeah.
[00:30:15] Speaker E: Sudden charge.
[00:30:16] Speaker B: Yes, yes, it is.
[00:30:17] Speaker E: So I'll just, I'll just get close to him.
[00:30:20] Speaker B: Okay. But not close enough that you need to make a safe.
[00:30:23] Speaker E: Correct.
[00:30:24] Speaker B: All right, now it is Noly's turn. What would you like her to do?
[00:30:29] Speaker C: Not die.
[00:30:30] Speaker B: So I will let you know that now that she's here, she does have her trowel or a hoe and she can attack if you'd like. She also has a dagger.
[00:30:42] Speaker C: Could she take someone's kite and do the thing? Or will she just, like, hold it?
[00:30:47] Speaker F: How much of an NPC is she?
[00:30:49] Speaker B: She has a full character sheet.
[00:30:51] Speaker C: But will she, like, if, for instance, since she's before Brianna, could she go and, like, do the kite trick? So Brianna could use all three of her actions to deal with the monster?
[00:31:00] Speaker B: Yes, absolutely.
[00:31:01] Speaker C: So, I mean, that's something to think about.
[00:31:02] Speaker F: I would prefer her doing the kite stuff while we're handling the fight.
[00:31:06] Speaker C: Yeah, I mean, I'd rather her not fight. If we have to choose one thing she does, I'd rather her just fly kites for us.
[00:31:12] Speaker B: And you can change this every round because, again, she is a legitimate character in this.
[00:31:17] Speaker F: That is what I vote she does.
[00:31:19] Speaker C: Agreed.
[00:31:20] Speaker F: What is that?
[00:31:21] Speaker B: That is from her. That is a 30 foot radius. No, that's way too big.
[00:31:25] Speaker C: No, that's not. That's 30ft. If it's a radius, that is 30ft.
[00:31:29] Speaker B: Yep. 30 foot radius. You feel a feeling of warmth erupt around you. This is a passive aura ability that she has called inspiring presence. Now that it is her turn, if you have a fear effect or need to save against a fear effect, she is giving you a plus two as long as you're in that aura.
[00:31:52] Speaker C: So, like Taysani and myself. Right? Plus two for what?
[00:31:56] Speaker B: To the save. So I looked. I already looked at your. Your. Your roles. It would not move you to a critical success or a regular success for either of you.
[00:32:05] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:32:06] Speaker B: So were you to need to make another save against a fear effect, it would have been.
[00:32:11] Speaker C: It's fine. I just didn't understand what it did.
[00:32:13] Speaker B: So she. Her. Her mere presence and halfling goodness is counteracting the. The creatures cold, scary, cold, frightful presence, if you will.
Okay. And that is her. Oh, she's gonna make some acrobatics checks. She gives y'all another success. Another success and a critical success. Another three successes for her flying the kites.
[00:32:38] Speaker C: Great.
[00:32:39] Speaker F: Good job.
[00:32:40] Speaker B: It is now the bad creatures turn. Ah, I have so many things. Oh, my goodness. Okay, this is the part of the game that starts getting scary for me when I have all these things.
[00:32:55] Speaker F: It'll be fine.
[00:32:56] Speaker B: Uh, okay, so it is going to cast a spell. It's two actions and it is 60 foot cone. Okay, so twin Talon is. Ooh. Noli and Saraya need to give me a save of the reflex variety.
[00:33:23] Speaker F: Not to me.
[00:33:24] Speaker C: Boo.
[00:33:25] Speaker B: Brianna and knife sword are just out of. Okay. Ooh, what did you get?
[00:33:31] Speaker E: I have 30.
[00:33:32] Speaker B: That is a fail.
Whoa.
Twin talon, what did you get?
[00:33:38] Speaker C: Twintelle enrolled a natural 20 for a 41.
[00:33:41] Speaker B: That is a critical success.
Saraya, what did you get?
[00:33:47] Speaker D: 37. And does Jasper need to roll as well?
[00:33:51] Speaker B: Yes.
Enoli rolled a 26.
[00:33:56] Speaker C: Could I use a hero point to have her reroll?
[00:33:59] Speaker B: Yes, if you would like.
[00:34:01] Speaker D: Jasper should be a plus 18. I think his advice, the same as me.
[00:34:04] Speaker B: Yes, he rolled a natural 20, so that's a 35.
[00:34:06] Speaker D: Good. He's a burp. He should be able to get out of the way.
[00:34:09] Speaker C: So I would like to spend a hero point to have Noly reroll. She rolled a two. Yeah, she's a better mod than I do.
[00:34:15] Speaker B: 29 on the reroll. It was a five. That is still a fail. So. Ooh, would you like to use a hero point to reroll?
[00:34:22] Speaker C: Yeah, why not?
[00:34:22] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:34:23] Speaker E: Reflex, you said, right?
[00:34:24] Speaker B: Yes, please.
[00:34:24] Speaker E: 17 on the die for 36, right?
[00:34:26] Speaker B: 36. That is correct. That is a pass. That is half damage. Twin Talon is no damage. Ooh, is half damage. Nollie is full damage. Saraya, would you like to with a 37? That is a pass.
[00:34:38] Speaker D: I will.
[00:34:39] Speaker B: So that's half damage. And Jasper is a critical success. So he will take no damage.
[00:34:43] Speaker D: Yeah, I'm just gonna leave it at that. I'm not gonna reroll anything.
[00:34:46] Speaker B: Okay, so a cone of cold erupts from this creature's hands as twelve d six are rolled Twital. And you take nothing. Ooh. You take half damage, which is 22 July full. Noli is going to take full damage. 44. Saraya will take half and Jasper will take none. Okay, so that was two actions. And for his last action, he will stab at Twintalen with a long spear.
[00:35:18] Speaker C: Just for the record, I'd rather he didn't do that.
[00:35:20] Speaker B: Oh, okay, that's fine. I'll take that under advisement. Now, I will let you know that this is technically a second attack. It's at a minus five with a 19 on the die for a 42 critical hit. Critical hit. Okay, so there's a lot to do here. All right, so first and foremost, critical damage is 70 points of damage. Just so you know, that breaks down to with the multiple of two. It's 54 physical, four cold and twelve evil now. Okay, but wait, there's more. I need you to make a fortitude save, please.
[00:35:58] Speaker C: Is this still round one?
[00:35:59] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:35:59] Speaker C: Dang it.
[00:36:00] Speaker B: Well, actually, technically it is round two. Cause the first round of combat, you guys were flying kites.
[00:36:05] Speaker F: Oh, cool. So I could have liberated is what you're saying?
[00:36:09] Speaker B: Yeah. Who do you want to liberate?
[00:36:11] Speaker F: I can't liberate anyone.
[00:36:13] Speaker C: You can liberate me.
[00:36:14] Speaker B: You can liberate him.
[00:36:14] Speaker F: Are you 15?
[00:36:15] Speaker C: I'm 15. Exactly.
[00:36:16] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:36:17] Speaker F: All right, I'll liberate you then.
[00:36:18] Speaker B: Okay, so that, uh, twelve damage. Thank you. One day. One day I'll remember how much it saves. But today's not that day. So I'll give you back twelve hit points. And you may take two steps if you'd like.
[00:36:30] Speaker C: I'm actually okay where I am.
[00:36:31] Speaker B: All right. Still need that fortitude save, please.
[00:36:34] Speaker C: 34.
[00:36:35] Speaker B: 34. 34 will succeed. So as the spear stabs into you, you feel a chill starting to radiate through your body, but you manage to shrug it off and that's its turn. Saraya.
[00:36:53] Speaker D: Well, first thing I'm gonna do is give Jasper two actions, okay? He's gonna take the kite from me and make that check.
[00:37:00] Speaker B: Oh, adorable.
[00:37:02] Speaker D: Look, he's got master for him. He's been, like, running around like a pseudo help all day. And he has a way. He has a way better acrobatics than I do.
No, he got a 32 more successes. Cool. Good boy, Jasper.
[00:37:20] Speaker B: And the kite is still in the air, so if you wanted to keep. If he wanted him to keep flying it, he can.
[00:37:24] Speaker D: Yeah, he'll probably keep doing that. Every turn. She's gonna run forward here and then she's gonna wing a moderate alchemist fire at it. Okay, I'm hoping since he does cold, this will be big.
[00:37:38] Speaker E: Ouchy.
[00:37:39] Speaker C: Gotta hope. Fire versus a cold demon, right?
[00:37:41] Speaker D: 24 five on the die.
[00:37:43] Speaker B: Critical miss.
[00:37:44] Speaker D: I'm gonna hear a point that I have two.
Okay, now I have one. Let's try that again. We're at eight for 27. Also a critical miss.
[00:37:53] Speaker B: No, not a critical miss, just a regular miss.
[00:37:55] Speaker D: Two fire. Splash.
[00:37:56] Speaker B: Okay, next up is Brianna.
[00:37:59] Speaker F: Based on where she is right now and how fast things are moving ahead of her, I feel like Brianna would look down at her hand and slowly this golden glow would come to her as she throws a divine lance at the creature.
[00:38:17] Speaker B: Ooh, look at you using them spells.
[00:38:22] Speaker F: Sometimes I remember they happen. How is a 33?
[00:38:26] Speaker B: I'm just gonna take my headphones off a little bit. That's a miss.
[00:38:31] Speaker F: What?
[00:38:32] Speaker E: How would I.
[00:38:33] Speaker B: This is why I took my headphones off.
[00:38:35] Speaker F: Should I hero point that?
[00:38:36] Speaker C: Guys, what'd you roll?
[00:38:38] Speaker B: 33.
[00:38:38] Speaker C: What's the actual.
[00:38:40] Speaker B: It was a 15 on the dial.
[00:38:42] Speaker C: The chance of you doing better than that's not great. Do you have two hero points?
Maybe just to see, but yeah, 15 that's a tough.
[00:38:50] Speaker B: The worst is you miss again, right? You can't get worse than a miss.
[00:38:53] Speaker F: All right, bucket, take my hero.
[00:38:54] Speaker B: Point taken.
[00:38:55] Speaker F: Let's try this again. Come on now. No, I did worse that time.
[00:38:59] Speaker B: Okay, so the divine. The divine lance, as it always has, the same as it ever was, shoots past him. And somewhere in the distance, you hear timid going, it's not that easy.
[00:39:14] Speaker F: Uh, in that case, she will.
[00:39:18] Speaker B: Can I tell you to take one step to your right if you were gonna go there to be directly next to twin Talon, because that is still in Nolly's bonus. If you step to take one to the left, it's out of the bonus.
[00:39:30] Speaker F: Wait, hang on. Let me. Let me think this through, because I clearly am not after I beautifully lost that.
[00:39:36] Speaker C: Um.
[00:39:37] Speaker F: No, it's okay. I'll be. I'll be in its guard, hoping that I'll take the attention off of it. Because that's all three of my turns I attempted to cast and move. So there you go.
[00:39:46] Speaker B: I need a will save, please.
[00:39:48] Speaker C: All right, before we get too far into this, isn't she wearing that iron amulet we found last time? I'm sorry, that nice forward licked last time.
[00:39:55] Speaker B: Yes. Let me put that on.
[00:39:56] Speaker F: What does that do again?
[00:39:57] Speaker C: It's something to do with will saves and fear. Which is literally what this creature is doing.
[00:40:02] Speaker B: Yes, that's why he tried to spook us. The what is iron medallion. Putting that on to iron medallion, does.
[00:40:13] Speaker F: It do anything to my will save? I didn't see it move. The modifier, I mean.
[00:40:18] Speaker B: So you attempt a will save against a fear effect, but you haven't rolled yet. You can activate it. You gain a plus two bonus for 1 minute.
[00:40:26] Speaker D: Does that stack with Nolis or is it.
[00:40:29] Speaker B: One is a status bonus and one is a probably circumstance.
[00:40:35] Speaker C: Morale.
[00:40:35] Speaker B: Morale. Yeah, it's inspiring. So, morale bonus, you get a plus four to your roll.
[00:40:42] Speaker F: Okay. Add an additional two to that. So 34.
[00:40:47] Speaker B: Ugh, I hate that. That is a success.
So you are frightened. One for one round.
[00:40:55] Speaker F: Lame.
[00:40:55] Speaker B: It's better than the alternative.
[00:40:57] Speaker F: What is this thing?
[00:40:59] Speaker B: All right, I. Twin talon.
[00:41:01] Speaker C: Okay, so I'm gonna do something we don't typically do.
[00:41:04] Speaker B: Run away.
[00:41:05] Speaker C: No, I mean, we don't do that, but that's also not what I'm gonna do. Don't be silly. So I am going to have Taysani go first, and I'm gonna have her aid another to give me a bonus to this attack. So she's gonna do the attack first, and if she gets a 20 or higher it means I get a plus 128.
[00:41:25] Speaker B: That is a critical success.
[00:41:27] Speaker C: Okay, great. So I get a plus two.
[00:41:28] Speaker B: Yes, because Noly has a ability.
[00:41:32] Speaker C: Oh, cool.
[00:41:33] Speaker B: Otherwise, that would be a normal success.
[00:41:34] Speaker C: Great. So plus two to my attack. This creature is flat footed to me, okay?
[00:41:42] Speaker B: It's gonna help. Fuck.
[00:41:44] Speaker C: Four for 26, which is probably a critical failure.
[00:41:47] Speaker B: That is, you still have one point left. And actually.
[00:41:51] Speaker C: Mm hmm.
[00:41:52] Speaker B: Actually, you have two hero points left because you selflessly gave one to Noli. And then because of that, I felt that was heroic. So I'm gonna give you another one back.
[00:42:01] Speaker G: Okay?
[00:42:02] Speaker C: Then I will use it.
[00:42:03] Speaker B: All right, let's keep this economy going a little better.
[00:42:05] Speaker C: 32, which is probably a miss.
[00:42:07] Speaker B: Nope. That is a hit because it is flat. Goodness.
[00:42:10] Speaker C: All right, so damage, right? I do damage sometimes 23 damage. And this is cold iron. I don't know if it makes a difference, norse.
[00:42:18] Speaker B: It does make a difference. All right? So you deal some damage to it.
[00:42:22] Speaker C: Okay, second attack. Man, I don't feel good about attacking again.
[00:42:26] Speaker B: You could make a recall. Knowledge, religion. Roll.
[00:42:30] Speaker C: Sure, why not?
[00:42:30] Speaker B: I mean, it might help you guys out.
[00:42:32] Speaker C: I'm just saying I doubt it, but let's go.
[00:42:34] Speaker B: Knowing what this is, is gonna help.
[00:42:36] Speaker C: 17.
[00:42:37] Speaker B: Okay. This is a fire demon.
[00:42:40] Speaker C: I don't believe you. Nor do I believe myself.
[00:42:42] Speaker B: Roll. Better.
Okay. Knife. Sword.
[00:42:46] Speaker G: So I'm gonna try something else.
[00:42:49] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:42:50] Speaker G: Drawing all my dark power to the tip of my finger, I'm gonna cast.
Enervate.
[00:42:58] Speaker E: Chun.
[00:43:00] Speaker B: Okay, let's see that innervation. And this is the first time you've actually been able to cast it without hitting like other people.
All right, let me make a save. See? Fortitude, just a regular success. With a 36.
That's the creature takes. Wow.
[00:43:18] Speaker A: Two.
[00:43:18] Speaker B: D eight. Persistent.
[00:43:21] Speaker C: Negative damage.
[00:43:22] Speaker B: Negative damage. Okay.
[00:43:23] Speaker G: Eleven.
[00:43:24] Speaker B: All right, so this creature will take on its turn. Yeah, on its turn, it will take eleven. Okay, I'm done. You're done. All right, next up is. Ooh.
[00:43:37] Speaker E: Who's that?
[00:43:38] Speaker B: You.
[00:43:39] Speaker C: That's not my name.
[00:43:42] Speaker F: Damn. On my name, it's ooh.
[00:43:45] Speaker E: Or a.
[00:43:47] Speaker C: Can I. Can I call you Ooey gooey?
[00:43:49] Speaker E: No.
[00:43:54] Speaker F: Not allowed.
[00:43:56] Speaker E: I'm gonna run up to him.
[00:43:59] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:43:59] Speaker E: And strike with my hand. Wraps of mighty blows.
[00:44:05] Speaker F: Hey, get him.
[00:44:07] Speaker E: He done made me mad, Matt. 24, 40.
[00:44:10] Speaker C: Oh, boy.
[00:44:11] Speaker B: Hell yeah. There we go. Hell yeah. Cuckoo. Coo coo. Critical.
[00:44:16] Speaker F: Let's get critical. Come on, girl.
[00:44:19] Speaker E: Bludgeoning damage. It's called ring the bell. The target takes a devastating shot to the head and is stunned for fort save. Perhaps the duration of the stun and the critical save avoids it completely.
[00:44:34] Speaker B: And we would like to thank Doombeard for this. This critical.
[00:44:38] Speaker D: Thank you.
[00:44:38] Speaker B: So let me. So, the fort save would be class DC. Okay. All right, so ooze class DC is a 27. I rolled natural one.
[00:44:49] Speaker F: Oh, boy.
[00:44:50] Speaker G: The best of both worlds.
[00:44:51] Speaker F: Oh, Boyden.
[00:44:53] Speaker D: So he loses an entire turn plus one action.
[00:44:56] Speaker C: Yup.
[00:44:56] Speaker B: Stuns.
[00:44:57] Speaker C: And I can't make reactions during that time, either.
[00:44:59] Speaker D: No.
[00:45:01] Speaker F: Big. Yikes.
[00:45:02] Speaker B: Well, hang on.
[00:45:03] Speaker C: And the other part double damage.
[00:45:05] Speaker B: Part double damage.
[00:45:07] Speaker E: 34 points.
[00:45:09] Speaker C: I'm part of that's fire.
[00:45:11] Speaker B: Yes. So. Oh, boy. This is gonna suck, Matt.
[00:45:15] Speaker C: For who?
[00:45:16] Speaker B: For me. Cause I have to do a lot of math now, so it's.
[00:45:19] Speaker C: We're here to help.
[00:45:20] Speaker B: Yeah, but then I give away a bunch of things, and since you can't roll. Matt.
[00:45:24] Speaker D: Give it away.
[00:45:25] Speaker C: Give it away.
[00:45:25] Speaker E: Give it away.
[00:45:26] Speaker D: Now.
[00:45:26] Speaker B: Don't want to tell anything yet. Okay. I can do this.
[00:45:29] Speaker F: So we believe in you.
[00:45:31] Speaker B: Then that goes to that. And then minus that. Got it. Done. Ooh. That was your first action?
[00:45:37] Speaker E: That was two actions or two actions?
[00:45:39] Speaker B: A move and a punch. You have one more.
[00:45:41] Speaker E: Yeah.
I saved him. You ruined my fun, and I. Can I strike again?
[00:45:47] Speaker B: Okay, you roll another natural 20.
That is a critical. Miss, would you like to use a hero point?
[00:45:57] Speaker E: No, I'm good.
[00:45:58] Speaker B: Okay. Draw your card.
[00:46:01] Speaker E: I'm so distraught.
Unarmed. If you attacked the claw or fist, you can't use that attack until the end of your next turn. It's called hangnail.
[00:46:15] Speaker B: Okay, well, it is now nollie's turn. Nollie. Potato, potato can.
[00:46:21] Speaker C: I got lost in all of the credits. I meant to do reactive murder after she crit, but I was very excited about her attack and stuff.
[00:46:28] Speaker B: All right, I'll let you reactive murder. Go ahead.
[00:46:31] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:46:31] Speaker B: You need it.
[00:46:32] Speaker C: Can I do it this week, or do I have to it next week?
[00:46:33] Speaker B: No, you can do it this week.
[00:46:35] Speaker C: Okay. Just checking.
[00:46:36] Speaker D: Never know the chances I look at the clock.
[00:46:38] Speaker C: All right, come on.
[00:46:39] Speaker B: Fuck.
[00:46:40] Speaker C: 25.
[00:46:42] Speaker B: Riiiiiiit. Miss. Let me just double check. Oh, no, just a. Just a regular miss. Cause it's flat footed.
[00:46:47] Speaker C: Okay, I rolled a five. I'm gonna use my hero point. I'm gonna roll again.
[00:46:51] Speaker B: Okay. Delicious. Hero points.
[00:46:54] Speaker C: That's a nat 20. Fuck yeah.
[00:46:55] Speaker F: Hell yeah.
[00:46:56] Speaker B: Okay, now, before you click anything, Matt.
[00:47:00] Speaker F: Uh oh.
[00:47:00] Speaker B: Let's look at your crit card next week, okay?
[00:47:04] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:47:04] Speaker F: Really? Really?
Wow.
[00:47:07] Speaker B: Okay. My name's Sean.
[00:47:11] Speaker F: Oh, wait. Was Sean just talking?
[00:47:13] Speaker B: I'm so clever, he doesn't know the word.
[00:47:16] Speaker F: I'm so sorry.
[00:47:17] Speaker G: Well, that was unexpected.
